Used Chevrolet Equinox for sale in Modesto, CA

After I bought used 2018 Equinox I discovered it did not have back up alarm. Hate not having it. Also the back up camera display on dash sometimes cannot see as it has a glare. My 2012 Kia Sorento had back up camera on rear view miirror, like that better. Like electric driver's seat to lower and move back, easier to get out of. Plenty of room although trunk area is smaller than Sorento.

On my fourth equinox never, I say never a problem with any of them. Outstanding value for this size car. Current 2019 has 81,000 on it and 0 problems! Change your oil and rotate your tires when you are supposed to stupid!

I purchased this vehicle sight unseen, used. I test drove an identical vehicle and loved it. My Equinox far exceeded my expectations! So far in the nearly 2/3 years of ownership, I continue to average 34 mpg, I couldn't be happier! Goes through the snow like a trooper and handles very well on icy roads. I do not like the auto stop/start, there is a hesitation and could pose a problem, no one will disconnect it for me! I am having a fuel problem! Very frightening, no one seems to find the problem!!! You can smell raw gasoline while: starting, idling at a stop sign, driving down the road and even after shutting the vehicle off - very frightening - no one can find the problem but they can sure smell the gasoline! It's frightening enough that I've removed my husband's oxygen tanks from the back and we no longer wear seat belts for a just in case moment. Since the gasoline smell the vehicle has become hard to start. Other than the gasoline smell/leak & auto stop/start the vehicle is perfect!

I just wanted to take some time and post about how amazing Steves Chevrolet is! I cannot express how much I have enjoyed every experience with this dealership. All the way from trying to purchase a vehicle and getting the specific one I wanted from another dealership shipped to them all the way to two years of ownership and a few service appointments. Not only is the staff professional and knowledgeable but they genuinely care about their customers and the experiences they have. I had one issue with my truck that I kept hearing, but they couldn’t locate, and we went into the dealership 3 times and each time they tried to find the issue until finally they did. They never gave up on checking and never acted like we were a bother to them or the dealership. On top of that they always did what they could to make sure we would not be left without a vehicle. I can say that dealing with their dealership for anything has been more like calling a family friend to ask for help then it has been just treating me like customer. I didn’t realize how lucky I am to have purchased a vehicle from them until we purchased my wife’s jeep from a different dealership and have nothing but issues with them from the beginning. Normally I work with Brian in service who is amazing and deserves all the praise but even when I have dealt with other service members it has still been the same treatment. If you want to purchase a vehicle and know you will forever be taken care of and treated like you matter, then you need to purchase it from Steves. I, myself, will never purchase another car from any other dealership again and it doesn’t matter how far I live or move too. For instance, I live up near Galt and I still choose to use their dealership and service just because how they have treated me. Had it 4 years. Everything o k but back breakes seem to need to be changed and i only have 16,000 km. Does g.m. have a recall for that?

The guy in charge was amazing and nice, let us look at the few cars that were in our range of mileage and price. He was amazing about us having a not so calm 4 year old. Gave us a great price, got us a great financing deal and had us in and out in no time. Definitely recommend and definitely would buy from here again.

We bought this car new. Has 126,000 miles on it. Transfer case burned 2 yrs ago as Chevy changed its maintenance grid and didn't notify owners. Burns oil but changing oil sooner takes care of it. It is an AWD, 6cyl. Love this car but will be trading soon due to its age. It's been a great reliable vehicle!

Rides pretty good. Seats 5 comfortable. Gas mileage is horrible. I get under 20😥 Mostly interstate and highway miles. Back hitch cover would never stay on. Brought granddaughter same car - same problems.
