Used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV for sale near Glen Ellyn, IL

My Equinox EV has exceeded expectations. It is stylish, roomy and has more than enough power. Charging at home is a breeze and charging on the road takes time and good planning. I highly recommend recommend this car.

Phillips Chevrolet was EXCELLENT. My amazing team consisted of: Jordan my salesman that closed the deal, Anthony the manager, and Rami the first salesman I spoke to. I was on a mission. I began an aggressive search for a car for my daughters 21st bday. I needed her in a safe used car, with low miles. I picked Phillips Chevrolet by accident, after I had a horrific experience with another dealership. The night before I paid the other dealership 18,800 cash for a 2024 Altima, but canceled the wire after they argued with me- and refused- to make me a 2nd key. Phillips didn't argue about ANYTHING. They showed me a fabulous car- a 2022 Corolla with low miles. It was a $400 difference, and the BEST $400 I have spent. I left the dealership laughing with the manager, hugging the salesman, and promising to buy all my future cars from them. They did not haggle with me, and I respected their position on the pricing. They went down a few hundred, but couldn't any further--- it was already below market value. My husband checked and said it was way under priced. My brother who is a large man- gave it a xxxx of a test drive- through the back woods, fast turns, up hills, etc. I fussed at him for shaking up the car. He said it was a strong car, that rode smoothly. I felt good that they weren't selling me a lemon. To guarantee they weren't - we negotiated to include the extended bumper to bumper warranty. I went back the next day to pick up a clean, freshly washed car. At the other dealership I was nervous when I signed, and second guessed myself all throughout the deal. Whereas, I was thrilled and excited about the car from Phillips Chevrolet. I gladly wired them the $19,000 + and took photos of my car. After taking photos with everyone, and my brother getting his $100 referral (which he didn't share with me :(.. LOL. My husband came to thank them for not causing me to "snap off" like the other dealership. He said - now he can have Peace in the House. After the hugs, photos, and jokes they gifted me with sweatshirts, hats, and bags. Now I can buy a big red bow, and give it to my daughter. I'm making her wear the sweatshirt and hat for the photos. SIDEBAR: Out of the last 5 car purchases I have made in 7 years- this was the absolute BEST experience ever!!!! Colleen & Family Loved Phillips & their Awesome Team!!!

So I love this car only bad thing is no Apple car play. I have the AWD and it feels so good in the snow has lots of room compared to the Bolt EUV and the range is wonderful.

Anthony greeted me in the parking lot and was friendly and professional. He quickly brought the car out that I wanted to see. Negotiations were very fair and the paperwork was done in a timely maner. Pros: - lots of miles on a full charge; inexpensive to run. - excellent ride - fantastic take-off and acceleration, although you can run into intense torque steer. - Comfortable inside. Well insulated for noise. - Beautiful and large LED screen which is easy to use. Tilted toward the driver which is another plus. - The myChevrolet app is great for getting the car warmed up / cooled ahead of time. - Very attractive exterior - more so than the EV Blazer. - Good controls that allow you to select more specific conveniences, door lock features and the like. Cons: - Cheap interior with a lack of fit and finish. - No grab handle for the driver's side door. - Awful stereo system. The 2024 EV did not offer a Bose system option. The one included sounds like a transistor radio. - Severe dashboard glare on a sunny day. Very hard to see outside. - Brake and gas pedals are too high. A smart move would have been to make them adjustable. - The door handles are useless. They automatically open in regular weather but forget that idea if the car freezes over. The insides of the handles are slippery - no grip at all. - To turn the car off, you have to reach behind the steering wheel and press a little Power button on the screen. Why? - The bottom of the steering wheel where the bottom spoke meets the wheel has sharp plastic edges where you can easily scrape your hand if you like to hold the wheel at that position. - Takes longer to warm up than a gas car. - The center to window edge roll of the windshield wipers is just not necessary and they are awkward. It's not a bus for crying out loud. - Interior back hatch release button is hard to find and on the dash, rather than having it on the door. - the manual climate controls are hard to reach and difficult to figure out. - The wiper controls are on the left and are a bunch of mixed controls that make you fumble through the thing to figure out which item to turn on. Should have been kept on the right hand side.

after shopping around at a few chevy dealers i was at Jerry Haggerty and met Steve B. Steve was very helpful and knows a lot about the different cars chevy has as well as the differences between the many trim levels. We were really hoping to get another Impala after losing ours in a Total Loss accident a few months ago. We ended up selecting an Equinox although we were 99% sure on the Trax until we found it a little easier to get in and out of the Equinox. If you need a nice , patient, easy going salesperson that actually listens.. go to Jerry Haggerty and ask for Steve B!!

We bought a used Hyundai couple of weeks ago. I think we got a good deal. The dealership was a good experience, specially compared to the other places we had been to. The sales person Christian Gonzales was extremely friendly, helpful and cooperative. His manager Renato Garcia was also a nice person to work with.

They are so busy it sometimes takes a while to get an appt; but service techs provide good service. Dennis Narsson has ben my tech advisor for my last two visits; has explained the problems and kept me updated as to progress. I have been a service customer for ~8 years.
