I have been coming to Russ Darrow for many years and have been completely satisfied every time I stop in for a routine oil change or major repairs I can't say enough about the service department going above and beyond to ensure my Mazda is running smoothly for years to come.
We went to look at a used truck here. The sales person introduced himself almost immediately and began asking questions to help us find what we were looking for. Already had a truck in mind based off the website. We went for a test drive and he was very helpful with all of our questions. The manager and sales rep spoke with us after the test drive and were more than willing to work with us. I did not have that good gut feeling about the vehicle and they were definitely understanding. While we did not purchase the truck, it was a great experience regardless. I cannot rate them on service. The facility was nice but seemed a little crowded and not personal (deals made at open tables with many other people around).
Came in for an oil change, new wiper blades, & tire rotation. Ended up having to leave my car overnight. The tech discovered that the last time I had my oil changed (at Firestone on 76th St) they damaged the relief valve in the oil adapter housing. Next day had to pay $1105.03 for what I came in for plus the discovered damage. I filed a claim with Firestone. I hope the tech who worked on my car at Holz will be able to assist in getting my money back for the repair.
I came in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation and to have 2 recalls looked at. One was visually inspected ok. And a brake pedal recall that included inserting a new bolt and adding lock tight to the threads. A total of 2hrs. sitting around waiting for the work to be done. It shouldn't have taken that long. Could have done the work myself in less than 1hr..
I made the appointment via the dealership website and they had no record of it. I had the emails from the dealership acknowledging my appointment. Disappointed that this system didn???t work
