My daughter bought a Nissan Juke from CarMax, Reno. She also bought the Max Care 150K warranty from them. The car had 92,000 miles on it. It had gone through the CarMax checklist with no problems found. Within three months the car stranded her twice on the freeway. CarMax said it sounded like a CVT transmission problem and referred me to Nissan of Reno. Nissan of Reno found the fluid had never been changed. The fluid in this car needs to be changed every 30,000 miles according to Nissan. There was extensive damage and stress to the transmission. According to Nissan it needed a new transmission. CarMax Max Care covered $1500.00 of a $4100.00 Transmission.
I thought CarMax at least checked the transmission level and color. It was obviously worn and burned. How can we trust CarMax repairs for anything if they can't see the obvious? I tried to contact via email CarMax, Reno but have received no response.
I was looking to replace my Saturn but had no idea what type of vehicle I wanted. I dread car lots, pushy sales staff and haggling on price. CarMax is different and a joy to work with. After checking out over a dozen different makes, models and features on their lot, I zeroed in on a 2015 Subaru CrossTrek. My brother checked the mechanics and after test driving we both felt this vehicle was a perfect fit for me. CarMax is unique. There is no pressure in purchasing. Rick Baker was excellent in answering our questions, helping with paperwork and providing me with 1.95% financing. Outstanding! I would definitely purchase another car here.
Holly did any awesome job from start to finish. She did whatever it took to get us the best deal possible working with what we had. She was very informative and touched all the bases and made sure we were happy with everything. Great job Holly!
Israel was a great salesman. He answered all our questions and showed us all the Toyota Rav4???s on the car lot. He explained all the different models and their features. Very nice and no pressure to choose a specific model. Michael was our finance person and he was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We went through all the paperwork in minimal time. I would highly recommend Dolan Toyota to anyone shopping for a new car. This dealership is definitely A+++ and the whole car buying process was amazing. Judith Stephenson
I was in mammoth and my trunk latch broke right before a snow storm on thanksgiving weekend and it wouldnt close at all. Everybody was closed and I was far from home and very worried. Luckily I called Toyota in Carson on Monday morning and they were nice enough to have me come in and get the problem fixed right away without an appointment and it was miraculous. this is all thanks to Rolando who was working there. they got the part ordered and they fixed the car the following day and I was on the road. I really appreciated that because I was in a bit of a situation I couldn't drive very far with a broken trunk and usually it takes a while to schedule an appointment so I give these guys an amazing person and consider themselves a lifesaver.
I was greeted by Joseph and he was exceptionally kind. I needed a few other things, like forgotten backpack from vehicle and some things from the parts dept. He retrieved my backpack and escorted me to the parts dept and was very pleasant even though he was very busy. Jennifer was also very helpful and kind. Great service!
Today, my faith in car dealerships has been restored. Excellent experience!! The process of buying a car today was so pleasant and so peaceful. I walked away with the perfect truck at a very fair price. The truck is exactly what I was looking for...exactly!! Thank you to Tom and Mike for helping me through the car buying process. Great care was taken for which I am deeply thankful!!! I am so thrilled with today's process that I am now thinking about purchasing a Tahoe, in another few months.

I just purchased a 2018 GMC Canyon a couple days ago and my experience with this dealership was excellent. The manger, Michael, did everything he could to get me the lowest interest rate possible which was highly appreciated. I do have to mention our superb salesman, Joe Murray. Joe was incredibly prepared, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating from the very start and even after the purchase was completed. Our calls were never left unanswered and neither were the many questions a first-time car buyer has. Joe always had the customers best interest at heart. He went above and beyond by taking time out of his own day-off to drive my new truck across town and deliever it to me personally.
