I recently bought a used vehicle from this dealership and was very impressed with the staff. They were very helpful. The lady who wrote up our contracts was very informative and it was obvious she knew what she was doing. I had to have a repair done on the vehicle and the service dept. was extremely helpful and courteous. I felt they were some of the best people to deal with in the Beckley area
I saw a vehicle that appeared to be one of those "too good to be true" scenarios. Sent email to dealer via Cars.com a few days later, I received a reply back that the vehicle had been sold and that "all mileage" was accurate. Nothing else to do after that.
Phillip Death is an awesome Service Manager at King Coal Chev. I recommend talking with him regarding any service needs. Although I am still having issues. Phillip is going over the top to help rectify the issue. King Coal is a great dealership to use for purchasing new vehicles or having them maintain your vehicle.
I have to say that Tom Shephard and his team save my career and my future here in WV. You see, on 11/06/2017 I started a new job, the same day that my minivan decided to break down. The mini van made it my work and after work it made it to King Coal to meet with Tom. Prior to meeting Tom, I had inquired about a car through their website at 10am. By 11, Tom had called to follow up. I gave Tom my details and what I can afford for a monthly payment. Tom and his team literally worked from 11 on to get me a car that I can drive home that same night. I got off work at 4, met Tom at 4:45 and by 6:30 was driving home with my new car. Tom and his team did everything to help me out and get me into a new car!! They even gassed up the new car for me. TOM! Again, thank you and your team for helping this city boy from Chicago start his new career here in West Virginia!! Cheers!!
When the insurance company called on Friday to say they were totalling out my car and my rental would end on Wednesday, I didn't have a day off until Thursday, a day late, and as someone with less than perfect credit, a dollar short. Mark and Chase teamed up, let me sign some paperwork and got on finding a way to finance me for an AWD I could afford. Within a couple hours they were texting me about a new achevy Trax at a payment I could handle. By noon, they wanted to know which color I wanted. By 3 I was catching a ride to sign the papers and drive it back to work. Never had a car buying experience like it, but I hope they all are in the future.
Customer service rep was great. Service tried just to do the minimum and send me back out the door by just balancing my wheels and only when I insisted did they check the alignment which had been supposedly checked just the previous visit, and it was out of alignment this time as well. Not a very thorough job.
