Working with Shorty and Pat was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. They buy their vehicles from the Federal Government. You know that the vehicles are in great shape due to the rules and regulations that the Federal Government makes their employees follow. They give you a fair price and make sure the vehicle you are buying is clean and that there are no issues with it. I will definitely be returning to buy my next vehicle from them!

Don K Subaru was phenomenal in helping me purchase my first car. I just relocated to Whitefish for work and they helped facilitate getting me my car. We worked with Damon who is as nice as can be. Picked us up from the airport and sat down with us to break down everything about the car after already spending hours on the phone the months prior and tracking down my car and negotiating a dealer trade. He was incredible and went far beyond what his job requires. He also offered to help me get acclimated in the community by getting involved in the gym and recreational sports. Truly treated me like family and welcomed me to Montana in the best way possible. The entire agency is to be commended for the role they played and I can't think of better people to help facilitate a car buying experience.
The sales people were very nice and extremely helpful, the problem came exactly 300 miles later when my engine light came on and I discovered a seemingly reputable dealer, will turn off an engine light, without fixing the problem, so as to sell the car at a higher price. This is dishonest and I would not expect it from a dealership. I was very disappointed to know they aren't as honest and above board as they first seemed. This blurrs a line that I thought was very distinctive between dealerships and buy here pay here car sales. I honestly thought that dealerships were trying to move away from the slimy dishonest reputation, but I was wrong. Just like it's illegal for you to sell me a house without disclosing what you know is wrong, it should be illegal for you to sell me a car without disclosing what you know is wrong. You try to justify it by upselling a $3000 policy, which allows you to be dishonest. In the end, it's the dishonest behavior that bothers me the most.
I live in the seattle area and spent 6 months looking for a particular truck and a dealership with integrity (hard to find in western wa.) from minute one on phone Hitch and crew were so helpfull that i was able to decide to put a deposit on the truck ( under book) and made a trip to kalispell , both the truck (2011 gmc 3500 diesl crew full bed 4x4 64000 mi.) and Hitch and all were great!!! Now for part 2 which makes eisenger motors over the top for me when i got back to seattle i discovered a problem undef rhe hood that was something that was missed by someone in an inspection , lshort story they wanted to fix it for me at any place in seattle , get me loaner etc. it was an excuse for me to go back to kalispell have them do it in their service dept. and they paid for my hotel while they had it less than a day , i got 2 great trips to kalispell and have a perfect truck and have a dealership that is what i'll call montana straight forward 😎great!!😀

We went to the dealership at the last minute, right before closing time (so sorry John) intending only to get a closer look at a truck I found online for my husband. It was clean and full of awesome. We never felt even a HINT of pressure to buy. John answered all of our questions and when we decided we would like to just go ahead and buy it, John stayed well after closing and made the whole thing simple and easy - and then he even threw in a few unexpected and welcome extras. Came back to Kalispell Toyota because of customer service and price. They found exact truck I wanted and brought it in. Great people! They work for you, not against you! I ended up buying a used car on the lot for my daughter because of value. There honest and everything is up front. No surprises, not pushy like other dealers. They are prompt on questions. Wether phone or email they get back to you in a timely manner. I drove almost 4 hrs to buy from them! My local Toyota dealer doesn’t hold a candle to this dealership!
