I bought a Express 3500 van at Barry's Chevy and met James my salesmen and Ronnie the Business Manager. It was the smoothest transaction that I ever made. James worked with me to ensure I got a good deal for the van. I'm from NY so I had to fly to Ohio then drive the van back the next day. They were very accommodating and made sure that we completed all the paperwork quickly, because I had to drive back to NY that day and work at 10pm that night. I want to thank Ronnie for not trying to force me into buying the extended warranty like most salesmen do. If your looking for a new/used car see James & Ronnie at Barry's Chevy in Ohio for a great car buying experience.

This truck serves my purpose it is Avery comfortable to drive service department seemed very good and quick at taking care of my trucks needs to run properly
My son was ready for a new truck. He did his homework, had a good idea of what he could expect from his current one and what, in the ballpark anyway, his new one would cost. He and I went on this adventure on the Internet to find the right truck for the right price, just like any of us would do. We ran across some shady squirrels out there...didn't actually have the truck they advertised, come in and drive it and we'll talk, etc.
Then we happened on Crowe Motors here on cars.com. They had a truck that met our specs and was priced close to where we needed to be. We dealt with them via email and over the phone and everything was a go from the word go. They accommodated my son's special requests on the new truck and made the entire transaction smooth, easy and well, great.
I don't have a connection to Crowe, wouldn't have found them or even considered them until I landed on cars.com. They shot straight with me, presented honest deals and we walked away happy. I recommend working with the team at Crowe Motors. You won't be disappointed.

First.....and last diesel, as this one will last. 100k now, and drives like new. Tows my rv like a dream. Expensive, but you do get what you pay for. My Silverado 1500 gasser was good, but not for towing in the mountain passes. This beast is built to tow! Keeping everything stock for now.
The 2500 hd gas version is reliable. However the 2500 diesel version is unreliable. My father had a 2014 chevy silverado 2500hd with the duramax engine. It broke down often. He hardly used it for work. Mostly just for weekends to go out . Never pulled ,towed or hauled anything with it. The reason he finally got rid of it was after the fuel system had a problem and it ended up damaging the internal parts of the engine . Factory warranty paid $8k to fix it. Luckily it was still under the 36k miles. So stay away from these duramax engines. The only reliable duramax engines are the ones made in 2006 .
Very comfortable interior for a HD truck. I have almost 200,000 miles on it (all original) and have never had to do anything more than regular maintenance. Fuel economy is surprisingly high (17/22) and it tows like a dream. The interior plastic panels on the dash are the biggest headache and have cracked. The Duramax is a highly reliable and powerful power plant.
