Was trying to chose between Chevrolet and Ram. To get the options I wanted I would have to shop the Laramie trim package. Chevrolet offers the LT trim level that allows you to load it up with the options I needed and at a lower price than the Ram. Chevy beats Ram on tow capacity, bed legnth, flex tailgate, and camera system is better. The new 10 speed transmission delivers great mpg. In my first long distance trip I averaged 19.5 mpg Better than my old Ram 1500.

Went in to replace a 2025 Silverado 1500 Trail Boss which was totaled in an accident. Salesman Matt Wright met us at the scheduled time and worked with us, looking at two trucks (a 1500 Trail Boss and 2500HD 4x4). The sale was going to be easy as the insurance had just paid off the totaled truck. Matt spent time showing us both trucks and taking us for test drive in both. Truck looks and runs like a dream. Of course, I only have 2,000 miles on it. If this truck gives me 150000 miles without anything major then it’s a win, win. I have a good feeling about it. Time will tell.

For the most part we do like this truck. It tows our 31’ TT wonderfully. One major problem the transmission went at 68000 miles last month 6/14. Also the factory warranty expired in January along with the extended warranty that we never should have bought. Rip off for sure. We never needed it. So angry. The estimate was 7000$! And then when the transmission goes you have to replace the radiator another 1500$! We did get it repaired with everything done for 6900$. Chevy did help out some as well as the dealership. But I’m still angry that it went with low mileage and I will never ever get sucked in again on an extended warranty
