I noticed a SUV on their website. I went down on a Mon morning to check it out & was apprehensive since this was my first Chevrolet purchase. Bobbi Blackburn took me out for a drive & put me at ease. I had other appointments that day so I left her my info & all the work everyone dreads at a car lot was done by that evening and papers ready to sign. Shopping for a vehicle has always been a long, drawn out and frustrating experience that my husband and I always have dread in the past. This was not the case in the least with Tarr Chevrolet. Our experience was top notch! The staff is very friendly and non pressuring. The entire buying process was amazingly expedient. They also were very quick in fulfilling their end of an agreement by ordering the item and having it on our new vehicle within 2 two days of purchase of the vehicle. Doing business with Tarr Chevrolet was a great experience and we highly recommend them to anyone in search for a vehicle.

After having visited 2 Knoxville dealerships - a total of 6 times in 8 days - I used Tarr's website at the suggestion of two close friends. I got an immediate response, and unbelievable deal offer (almost $2,000 less than the Knoxville dealerships). Robbie Jackson was ready for me when I arrived and the entire "deed was done" in about 45 minutes after my arrival. It's worth the 40 minute drive to Jefferson City ... plus you get to try out - and enjoy - the car on the way home! :)
If you do your homework on the car you want and they have what you want, do it! The best part was, the car was delivered to me! I felt like a baller when the car showed up in my driveway. Customer service was amazing. Best part, no pressure. Just me and my laptop, looking at all the cars until I found what I wanted. Just do your homework on the vehicle, you can't go wrong!!!!! I had very specific requirements and Vroom was the only place that had what I wanted. They offered me blue book on the trade in and the purchase with no haggling. The car was as described. The lighting on their pictures was off so much I thought the interior was gray and not black. Luckily I'm fine with black. Customer service has been great. Delivery was fast. The car came with a white residue all over it, I guess the soap they use; I had to work hard to get it off. They delivered it to me in a public place with no gas. The fuel light was on. I wanted to drive around the parking lot and acclimate my self to the car but I felt immense time pressure to get to a gas station and as a result hit the road without even adjusting the mirrors. Kind of dangerous. Right now they are having a problem getting me the title almost two months after purchase; not sure if it's Vroom's fault but at least they are politely keeping me up to date and sending me a replacement drive-out tag since the first one is about to expire. As scary as it was buying a car online, I'd say overall it has gone well and I would recommend Vroom. Be aware that the contract forces you to give up your right to sue in court. You can opt out by sending a letter to Vroom's lawyers in New York.

Exceptional buying experience. Roger Williams was my sales contact. Very professional, NEVER pushy like so many sales I've experienced elsewhere. He was always willing to pause and answer any question and made sure every question was thoroughly addressed. If he did not have an answer, he never bluffed. He found someone who could confidently provide the answer. All staff was positive, friendly, helpful. Roger is especially upbeat, optomestic, and sincerely intrested, not in just the sale, but the whole family as well. He took time to visit with every child in the family and answer their questions as well. This was truly a remarkable buying experience.

Detail shop did not do a good job of detailing the car. Windows were not adequately cleaned--soapy water stains were left on running boards, tires were not cleaned. I still do not have my complete set of mud guards--awaiting a solution to that problem.
It doesn't get any easier than West Chevrolet wether your buying or getting a service.
