I was leasing a 2016 Kia Optima through this dealership and loved how smooth the process was with that car, I was in for an oil change and had decided to look into buying out my lease since my mileage was starting to add us. Dave Zaprev was so knowledgeable and kind through the whole process. After all my questions and concerns we went over the benefit of just buying a new car vs keeping my lease. The were able to get me a fantastic deal within my price range. I love my Kia and honestly would not go to any other dealership. The service from the salesmen, to the finance managers and even all the way back to the service advisors in outstanding. Thank you all again for your help!
Contacted the dealer thru email and phone as I have been looking for a used vehicle. The dealer responses have always been helpful, cheerful and prompt in replies to my inquiries and questions. Great customer service. I would consider them for any future purchases and would definitely recommend them to a friend.

The salesman was very helpful and didn't try to sell me a vehicle that they wanted off the lot. He also let me test drive the ones I wanted to compare even if it was not in the most ideal spot, if other vehicles needed to moved it was done.
Our 2015 Explorer stared exhibiting electrical system issues and then wouldn't start. Don Wood Ford scheduled us immediately and diagnosed the problem as a bad battery instead of something more serious (and expensive). So, we'll just add this to the list of positive experiences. It gives us great piece of mind to know that they're there for us in emergencies as well as routine maintenance!
Very pleased with the sales staff. Have no reservations about going back. Car prices seemed very competitive. There was a sales drive ending the day that we visited the dealership. We weren’t ready to make the commitment.
We have been dealing with Jim Shepherd and crew since we moved to Richmond in 1995 and refuse to go anywhere else for sales or service. We've always received service with loving, caring, "family" excellence. We just bought a "new" used vehicle for my wife and got a better deal than any other dealer. I bought my Focus from Jim Shepherd years ago, sight unseen. Told him want I wanted in a car as I needed one. He arranged all finances and picked me out a car that exceeded my expectations and with a lower price and payments than expected. Same as today with my wife needing a "new" used vehicle. Walked in, told the team what I needed and what I could afford and they set my wife up in a "like new" Mercury Mariner with all the bells and whistles at 2.17% APR which is fantastic. Just took my car in for service and good going over as it's high mileage with orders to "fix/change/flush anything that needed fixing." Instead of a high dollar bill, I got a reasonable bill for only necessary upkeep and good for another 20K miles all within one day, car washed and cleaned upon return. Greatest service department in my life. One cannot say too much about the team at Shepherd Sales and Service. In all honesty, if you're going anywhere else, you're doing yourself and your pocketbook a disservice. May God bless Jim Shepherd and his team as you will not find nicer, more caring and helpful people on this planet. Going anywhere else...is just wrong. My time at Kia was wonderful, everyone made the expierence very plain less and simple. It didn???t take nearly as long as I thought it was going to and I was able to get a brand new vehicle in my price range. Any questions I had they were answered very promptly and correctly. Over all every person I interacted with made me feel welcome and comfortable!
I called to get information on a vehicle this dealer had just listed, they did not have any photos posted yet. I talked with Steve who texted me plenty of photos right away. He then FaceTimed me back and went over every inch of the vehicle for me and checked all functions real time. When I had a question that Steve did not know the answer to he asked a mechanic, Jeff to answer it for me. I live out of state from the dealer and could not see it in person, this was the next best thing. Because of Steve and Jeff’s help I planned on making a trip to test drive and see it in person. A vehicle came up for sale locally the same day that I ended up buying so I did not buy from Bronco Motors. I would not hesitate to recommend this dealer based on my experience with them, they went that extra mile for me and I really appreciate that.
Israel was a great salesman. He answered all our questions and showed us all the Toyota Rav4???s on the car lot. He explained all the different models and their features. Very nice and no pressure to choose a specific model. Michael was our finance person and he was super friendly and made us feel very comfortable. We went through all the paperwork in minimal time. I would highly recommend Dolan Toyota to anyone shopping for a new car. This dealership is definitely A+++ and the whole car buying process was amazing. Judith Stephenson
