I purchased my Malibu LT (1.5L) new in August 2016 and have absolutely loved it ever since. It has a quiet and refined ride, roomy interior with ample leg room for rear seat passengers, power adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support, clear and easy-to-use infotainment system, fold-down rear seats, and some nice ambient interior lighting. While the 1.5L turbo engine won’t win a drag race, it’s still peppy enough to allow confident expressway entrances, and fuel economy is excellent for a 5-passenger sedan. Typically, with combined city/highway driving, I’ll see an average of 34 mpg (low of 24 to high of 44+). Driving at 50-55 mph on our flat So. Florida expressways will easily get 45+ mpg, while cruising at 70-75 will still get in the high 30's. The 4-wheel disc anti-lock brakes are good and inspire confidence. At 108,700 miles, aside from regular oil changes, I’ve replaced the battery twice, replaced a tail brake light bulb (warranty), had a cooling system flush, a fuel system/throttle body repair ($200+), and got a new set of tires. I’ve only been stranded 3 times (flat tire from expressway debris, and twice with dead battery) over 6+ years of ownership, so reliability gets high marks. This car is ubiquitous for a reason – it’s a very solid purchase.

I bought mine used. And the prior owner took care of this car. I love this car. I can fold down the rear seats. Yea, my fishing rods go there. GM always the topdog in there line of work.

Car performs well. Great fuel mileage. Wont will any races in car but is comfortable on long drives. Handles mountains well. Easy to drive handles well on city streets and highway.

I've had my 2022 Premier for about 6 months. I like it more than I want to - I was waiting to buy a Cadillac later this year! I saw this Premier (2liter turbo) that was new last October with less than 4k miles (and 20+% under list) and could not pass it up. It's comfortable, quiet, handles well and is OK quick. It has heated rear seats, which I don't need but no power tilt/telescope steering wheel or power up pass. window. Fuel economy is spot on it's EPA rating. I have 2 small complaints. (1) the radio, set to Sirius/XM, will change to 97.4 FM - no warning/no reason. My local dealer updated the radio software but this stlll happens. (2) At the same instant the dash pod winks out...then comes back. Weird but I'm not gonna sweat this. Overall a nice GM product.

We didn't deal with the Lynchburg office in person, but when I spoke with the lady in finance( I am sorry I don't remember her name) she let me know that they can ship the vehicle to our closest location. That to me is customer service! Our application was simple and we got pre qualified. Next car will be a CarMax car !!

This is my second Malibu and I love it. My first one was in 2018. I live the upgraded and updated version. Anna is always great.

I purchased my Malibu LS almost a year ago and remain very satisfied with this vehicle, it looks very classy, it is very fuel efficient, it is very peppy with the 4cyl turbo engine, this is very good more basic transportation compared to other brands, if your not hung up on having all the bells and whistles buy this car!!!

Great experience! Why waste your time with the big dealerships and sit around for hours! Manuel had me approved online in less then 30 minutes. Easy term financing with a bank, not to mention I didn’t have the best credit. Mike got me approved for the Passat I wanted and Kristi was great with insurance. Bought the Malibu RS trim, I like the looks better than the LS/LT and it's also slightly less expensive. This car really hits the mark for an economy car. I get 10mpg more than my old 20mpg V6 twin turbo Taurus. Cheaper to run than my old car but not nearly as fast.... but that's what you give up to get the better fuel economy. This car has a CVT transmission and that forces a different driving style than a car with a normal transmission. You can't do heavy throttle starts, you just get a lot of noise and not much speed. It feels like the trans is slipping when you floor it, and it probably is. However if you start slow and then roll into the throttle it will actually push you back in your seat. Overall good performance, you just can't expect to drag race with it. Very nice as a stylish people mover.

We had the 2018 before this 2023 for 3years and it was amazing other than regular maintenance we put a battery in it that's it. Loved the car took us everywhere without fail very reliable. Has a mean punch with the 4-cylinder but it's the turbo Tranny makes it mean. It goes when you need to! Nice style looks classy and sporty. We got grey metallic paint it looks purple! We love this car too, a lot like our old one but new features for sure driving assistance features crash prevention, and new car deck bigger and better could use a lot more bass lol. But great sound without good bass. Malibu's are being discontinued so the wife and I will be looking at a impala next ride purchase as we fell hard for Chevy Period!

from what I'm seeing other people report, the 1.4 turbo is the problem. I have the LS 1.8 and yes I have replaced the water pump but it was not driven hot so it did not damage the head gasket or block. it has 180,000 miles on it and runs like a new one. the comfort and handling makes up for the lack of power although it has enough. it's not a Camaro or a Corvette but it's a xxxx good Car.

Over the years I have driven different cars. I had Malibus in 1974, 1977 and came back to the Malibu in 2014 and now have a 2018. It is my favorite car and is just the right size for me and family members. Drives nice and is good on gas. I get compliments on my 2018 model. I call myself malibu Man.

I got this car when I was 16 and it has been great! There are a few details I dislike, mostly cosmetic. The cup holders are very small so only short small drinks fit in them and cups block air controls which gets very annoying. Not extremely comfortable, but good for getting around! As a noob when it comes to mechanics, I really appreciate how easy and cheap it is to replace parts (ex. I replaced the headlights and the sun visors which just pop out). It held all my friends and gets good gas mileage. I also have a natural gas tank as well which was awesome. Unfortunately I got rear ended so it looks like that will be the last of my little Chevy :,( loved it while it lasted though!

I purchased a used vehicle in March 2023 from Paul Barrows in Used Cars. I was an hour away so he did due diligence sending me all kinds of pictures I requested, as well as a video. I have owned my Cruze for about two years now with no problems. I have driven this car back and forth to work and around town multiple times, with no issues. I have the LS trim with the 1.8. I can say the LS trim lacks many features, but still provides easy to use technology and a comfortable ride.

Everyone we came in contact with were great and went out of their way to be nice. Very accommodating to me and my friend who is very Indecisive. Great bunch of guys and will highly reccomendations!

2014 Malibu has been the perfect car. 355,000 miles and still going strong. Only minor repairs (wheel bearings, 1 O2 sensor and a valve timing solenoid), all preventative maintenance, and 33mpg lifetime average. Drivers seat is worn but all else is still in good condition.
