Second owner of 1970 GTO Judge. Manual steering and manual brakes make for a handful, but straightline is definitely a gas! Everyone watches and talks about how they wished they would have kept the great one from their past. Inefficient, uncomfortable and a task to drive but will not trade for anything.

Bought the car from a wreck yard and restored it to a 12 second strip performer. It was a real looker with white swivel seats, Electron Blue ext with hood ghost flames. This car was gifted to me in 1983, with 164K. Factory air that would freeze you out! 327 4 barrel, 2 speed poweglide transmission. About 16-18 highway. Easy, easy, easy to work on. And, the very best car I have ever driven in snow/ice. (My grandparents didn't opt for power brakes, so there was much better braking control). I drove it until I heard what sounded like a shot. The differential had a hole blown thru it from the inside out. That was at 383K with nothing more than a valve job at 200K. What a car!!!!!!!
