First, I ended up not buying a car here but that was only because they didn't have quite what I was looking for. I do want to say that I had a very pleasant experience at Fitzgerald Outlet, though. I worked with Walter "Chet" Wilkinson and he was superb. Knowledgeable, pleasant and best of all not in the least bit pushy or a typical "car salesman"; I'd have just walked out in that case. I ended up purchasing a car at another dealership (who had a similar philosophy as Fitzgerald - no haggle. no pressure) and it really only boiled down to the fact that the other place happened to have a vehicle which fit the bill, so to speak. I very much would recommend Chet and company if you're in the market for a used car - no plaid jacket and smoke and mirrors.

I am trying to get rid of this vehicle right now. It was good up to the problem. Not starting, shutting off on the highway.

I bought it used with 55,000km. at 65,000kms it needed $2000 non warranty work and $1500 warranty work. (intake manifold). every year the suspension needed to be replaced, who knew sitting on the 401 would be so rough on it. out of the 5 years I have owned it, it would spend at least 1.5 years sitting in the shop. I have put close to $8000 into and it needs about another $3000, does not even have 200,000kms on it yet. car has no pep. I have to shift the 3rd to pass someone. I should be able to use the car pool lane from the amount of water that sits on the floor in the back seat after it rains. vent dial quick working, so no hot air on the windshield to get the ice off from the inside. clutter dash lights quit working right after the warranty even though it started before yet the dealer ship couldn't see the problem. electrical issues all over. would not start, had to take off the front end, tire and fender of the car to access the relay that quit working and the computer would not say there was a problem with that relay. nothing but headaches with this lemon. being short I bash my knees a lot into the sheering column plastic. its in the name, DODGE it.
Cindy, as always, is very professional and knows her field. While this was a normal check up of the car, she made sure that it was in good shape when I came and picked it up. By that I mean she suggested the car needed its tune up, which I did not even think about.
The 2 issues. Every time, the last couple of years, I get service someone comes out from the dealer and asks if I want to trade in my car. This request is unsolicited and not asked for. Also, today, the day after the service I rec'd an e-mail from Auto Nation reminding me to service my car. It was just serviced.

This car is all about power. Its fun to see how surprised other people are when they see this car accelerates but it also handles very well but watch out for the toque steer.
Like i said...Amazing place, really nice people, friendly and most important very very good deals. If you are trying to get a car i'm telling you this is the place right here and believe me you won't regret it.
Known Front End and Transmission Problems

We have had this car for 3 years and every year the front end parts need to be replaced, just like our friends who have the same year and model car. This car is known to have front end problems. Also the transmission overheats in the summer on Long trips that are more than 45 minutes drive time. while sitting on the side of the road waiting for a tow I look through the manual and it confirms that you will have to pull over and let your transmission cool on hot days before you can continue on your journey. This car is a beer can on wheels and I would not recommend this car to anyone. I'm not angry about it because it is my own fault for not researching the vehicle before purchasing.
This is a honest hardworking family owned business and the quality and pricing of cars they deliver are top notch!
I called CarPros late on a Saturday evening after leaving a very disappointing appointment at a local dealership. Although it was after hours and they were closed the owner of CarPros told me he would stay so I could see the VW I had seen advertised online. This was exceptional customer service and instantly made me feel valued.
The first thank that I noticed was that the quality of the cars here were exceptional! Clean and all of them well serviced. Pictures did not even do the VW CC justice and I found the car the cleanest and by far the best quality of all the VW's I had seen at other places. It is obvious the owner is very selective about the cars he buys and sells.
The owner and his wife and son entertained several followup calls from me asking questions and even made an appointment for my mechanic friend to see the car on a day they were closed.
When I had expressed concern over the brakes during a test drive the owner assured me he would have them checked out and serviced again and he did what he said he would and even texted me a photo of the car up on the lift getting checked out.
The entire process made me feel so assured and confident that I was working with honest and caring people.
I am now a proud and very happy owner of a 2014 VW CC! Thank you CarPros!!!

I loved this vehicle in the beginning but when it started to get older things like transmission and suspension started going back and it got old.

This car met all of my needs. It had a Continuous Velocity Transmission and a lot of get up and go, but it had a lot of road noise. That's the only complaint I have. It was a great car.
