I have owned three different Dakotas. All three of them we're extremely reliable and The Styling can't be beat. My 2001 had the 4.7 engine and it was a beast. My 2008 Dakota is absolutely beautiful. It has the 3.7 liter engine, which seems to do pretty good.

A Great Truck That’s Underrated

This truck was about a year old when I bought it and it’s been a pretty solid truck. It’s had a few issues with the starter but nothing much besides that. I have the 4 door 5.9 version and it’s a pretty powerful truck for it being the smaller model. Would recommend to anyone though!

?As a guy in his 50's, I have made roughly a dozen car purchases in my days. All the way back to the early 80's before the Internet- when dealership showrooms were filled with high pressure salesmen who thought nothing about selling you half-truths just to get you to sign on the dotted line. And then there was always "haggling" for the best deal that seemed to go on for hours because you had a to wait for some manager to swoop in and basically threaten you: this deal could could be taken away IF you don't sign up for A, B or C. Enough already!! My recent car buying experience at Auto Wholesalers of Hooksett was one of straightforward simplicity, clear communication, and respect for the customer. My sales rep Greg was a friendly, laid back guy who spent an appropriate amount of time with me on the things that matter- educating me about the vehicle, the industry, and getting a fair deal. He was a communicator and a customer service professional- not a "salesman." I knew the vehicle that I wanted when I went in. I had done my homework and knew I didn't need any extras. Greg respected my position and authority as the customer. He knew what questions to ask and I got the price I wanted without distress. After signing, I met the manager, Mike Fortier, who welcomed and congratulated me on my purchase and then gave me his business card so that I could contact him directly in case of questions or concerns. Wow, was it really that easy, I remember thinking as I left the building? It isn't a fancy showroom at Auto Wholesalers, and there isn't a customer cafeteria or anything like that. But I'm guessing that's exactly what keeps the prices down and the service efficient and streamlined. Upfront pricing, no games, and sincere people who are willing to help you find the right car for you. Just the way I like it (Disclosure: I was paid $0 for ?writing ?this review? because I was THAT pleased!)

Still Running Strong

I have had my '05 Dakota Crew Cab 4x4 V-6 for a bit over a year. I do construction and bought it from another contractor. What can I say? The truck has 265,000 miles on it and runs, hauls, and pulls like a full size truck. I have had to replace the serpentine belt, alternator, and a brake caliper on the truck. The pick-up isn't the quickest, but it isn't much slower with a piece of machinery behind it than it is empty. The truck drives and handles great. We had a mishap with a backhoe slamming into the truck and it did no damage. I can't figure out why they are not still making them. It is a great truck.

Purchased a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. I worked with Anthony in Sales. Called and spoke with him and setup an appt to meet with him the next day. He was extremely knowledgeable and so easy to work with. He answered all of my questions and made the whole process more enjoyable. All of the staff was friendly and very helpful. We didn't feel pressured into buying anything (vehicle, warranty, etc.) and no one was aggressive or pushy like the other dealerships we had been to. It was a great transaction right down to the financing. Found a great rate and at a fair price. Love my new car. You guys really are the "Best"!!!

I love the truck but 3 dealers have stalled me for years by saying that they will notify me when they get the parts. Why buy something that no dealer wants to fix? They can't be whittling them one at a time can they? Damm POOR service if they have to pay for it!!!
