After getting rid of my Buick enclave because of endless problems, needed something more reliable. They had exactly what I was looking for and more options on the lot within price range. They have good quality cars, nice laid back salesman. Worked with me and held the car. Had a 360 point inspection by mechanic and came back no problems which was good to hear. Y'all give them a chance before going anywhere else.
Newly purchased 2011 Dakota Crew Cab 4WD.

Just bought it. Used w/ 38,000 mi. It is what I was looking for. Seems to be fully capable for my needs. Size was a BIG consideration. Full size pickups are simply TOO big. Trade off between used Dakota and new (other) mid-size pickups is cost. If the Dakota was still being made -- essential the same as it was in 2011 which was last year for the Dakota -- I would have been looking at a new Dakota. Good all-around multi-purpose vehicle.
i went in to get my battery check and they replaced it so quickly! Happy I was still under warranty and the staff is very friendly and professional! You won’t be disappointed!
109000 miles and still very reliable

We traded in our hummer for this brand new. It has the 3.90 rear gear ratio, so its great for towing. Overall, it been a fantastic truck, never had any problems what so ever. The only real complaint I have about it is the fuel mileage, its terrible. The 3.7l v6 is a gutless pig. Dodge could have done so much better with this motor that what it currently does for this model year. We love the body style of the 2011, it has a much bigger stance on the outside than it does on the inside. The CD player took a crap at 105,000 miles. I would recommend this truck to anyone that is not buying it for a performance value. It will seat 4 adults comfortably on a long trip. The controls are easy to get to as well as the dash cluster is easy to see. Fuel mileage and power are the only draw backs. 15-17 average even on the highway.
2006 Dakota 4x4 6cyl 3.7 is not a bad truck. Engine runs strong and long.
Auto transmission the same. Bad thing is I've rebuilt the front end suspension 2x now, never use 4WD. Reasonable cost when you do it yourself but VERY COSTLY if done by a shop.
Delighted with the overall experience Brandy was very efficient service advisor who kept me informed all the time and was extremely patient in explaining things
LOVE, LOVE this truck!

Love this truck, very comfortable and rides great. The only issue I have had is with the radiator fluid, and this might be a bad (off market) cap. Haven't pinned the problem down, but no anti-freeze in oil or out of tail, so I am thinking it is not anything serious. 168,000 mi and runs strong.
I took my truck in for first oil change. Supposedly I got a full multi-point inspection. When I drove off the dealer the sound coming from the muffler was different than when I took it in. I immediately found a parking lot and pulled in to it. After checking the muffler and not finding anything I open the engine hood. I immediately saw that whoever took the air filter assembly apart to check the filter could not put it back together. It was totally not right. I put it back together as it properly goes. If something so simple was not done right I wonder what happens when one needs major service done. It’s kind of hard for me to recommend service here after such a minor thing was messed up!!
I bought this truck June of 2002

I am the second owner of this truck and have drove it almost every day. I had two before this one but this was the best. It drove like a car, rode like a car but hauled stuff like a truck. I hate getting rid of it but I am 68 and would like to get one more truck before I quit. I just do not believe they can make a better truck. It is the exact right size. It is easy to park, easy to drive and has plenty of power on the road. I tend to drive on the fast side but this truck still gets 18 mpg or better on the road. I can not think of one thing I would change about the Dakota.
Purchasing my vehicle from Gil Auto Sales, Inc. was excellent. The entire purchasing transaction was great. There was no long waiting periods This auto dealership have modern vehicles for those who are looking for a vehicle without high car payments. It's like you almost determine your own monthly vehicle payments.

The only drawback is storage behind the driver and passenger seat. A luxury I was used to in my previous truck. However, I'll downsize the junk I carried before. :-)
