Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle
Dodge Dart does the trick
June 26, 2018
I purchased this car for my son and it has been exactly what he needed. Good gas mileage, dependable, and very comfortable to drive. My son was very pleased with the car and the comfort now driving to work.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.

This car has helped keep the weight of gas prices off my shoulders and is fun to drive. Very reliable and easy to maintenance. I used it mostly to get back and forward from work.
I talk to one of your Sales Manager who was quite helpful in discussing couple of Toyota Corolla in your show room of 2017, however, I have postponed for a month to purchase and will definitely contact if I am ready to purchase.
Decent car - worth the price

This is a decent car for the price. It's basic and has been reliable for the two years I've had it. The basic warranty is only 36,000/3 year. The warranty is the only thing I would want changed for this car.
We worked with Ty Stanfield on the purchase of a Lexus. He was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. This is our first experience buying a Lexus, and it went great! This may be the first of many we drive! Thanks, Ty!
Efficient, Dependable little car for a petite lady

This car fits me! I'm 5'1" and the dash seems to wrap around me. It's a comfortable ride for me. I own a 2013 with 70k miles on it and never had a bit of trouble. Handles well in rain and snow. A/C and Heater are the bomb. I'm so glad I chose this car. It's sporty looking, fun driving and cheap to operate.
good selection of vehicles compared to small cities.... found exactly what I was looking for. Salesman was very polite and good with children... will definitely be back for next purchase
One of my favorite vehicles I’ve owned.

This is a great car for anyone young or anyone with one child that doesn’t sit in a car seat. It’s very reliable as long as you are keeping up with maintenance. Depending on the version can determine how often you have to change out the tires and oil. I loved it since purchasing. Had to upgrade to a bigger vehicle for my growing family!
Not the cheapest repair shop in the area, but they do a great job and complete it in one day. If you want quality service, take your car here.
Sportier than it looks

My wife owned a Dart and she put a lot of miles on it in a short period of time. We recently bought her son a Dart as a college graduation gift in hopes that he would get the same sort of use out of his iteration of the car. His is a little less punchy than hers was (different model) but it still moves quickly, looks stylish, and has the same loud motor/exhaust, which can be aggravating, but he's a 21 year old kid...
Christmas came early for me. Proud owner of a 2018 Camaro 2SS. My 2nd Camaro ever purchased from Lone Star Chevrolet. Great Service all the way around. Team Chevy for many years to come. Thanks guys!
Not the Best

I honestly should've stuck with my 2001 Celica over this mess. I always have issues with it. I've had it for 3 years and I've had to dump $5000 into it, excluding normal wear and tear. I have never had a car break down so much in my life. I will say the car gets me from point A to point B though. I cannot wait to get rid of it.
Herber was very helpful in helping me get into the 2016 Mustang also the staff there were friendly . The management team was as helpful . I am really happy with the 2016 yellow mustang . Thanks guys
Good car, bad random engine problems.

All across the country, Dodge Darts are having issues like mine where they consume way too much oil too quickly and take engine damage. Dodge seems to know this, stopped making them in 2016, and then are replacing engines buy not letting anyone take them apart to see what is causing the issues. I have 2 Dodge Dart 2015s, but only one is consuming 6 quarts of oil in 5,000 miles with no leaks.
As a retired tx DPS mvi trooper through my 30 years dealing with dealers carmax is most caring dealer. When we went to car max on gulf freeway to look for a new vehicle the salesman were very caring and helpful to find the velociraptor we wanted. We bought a 2916 Honda CRV with 10 mikes on the vehicle. We bought it. Service group was also caring and helpful. Keep up the good work. Larry parks.

I love it! Very fun and dependable. Rides smooth and is great on gas. Very comfortable. Perfect size for a small family. Sporty and fast. Looks awesome. Black on black
I’ve been looking at the Darts since they first came out. I finally got one recently when I traded in my mustang for a 2016 Dart sxt. My one concern was how much of a drop off in speed and acceleration would I have. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn’t too much of one. The Dart has plenty of speed and good acceleration. And handles great at low or higher speed. Overall I’m very happy with my 2016 Dodge Dart. I plan on having it for many years to come.
Robert is a quiet man being that he is not pushy to seal the deal. He gave me all the info i needed in order to make the best decision for my budget and woked it through to management. I have a Ford Edge i love and am excited i was finally able to get an SUV. Initially I Leased thru him and then purchased the vehicle at lease end. Ive had the Edge 3 yrs so far and not a hint of trouble. I so bery much love driving it plan to keep this for another 10-12 Yrs atleast. Thank you Robert and your finance team.

Drives fun, always feel safe in this, never had it break down or major issues. Easy to keep up with. Details on the interior are GORGEOUS. Overall suggest this to everyone
Chris did a great job. We walked in knowing what we wanted and he got right to it. Chris was very personable and made the buying process easy. There were not very many other customers there when we were there and the manager, Tim, came over and introduced himself. Very family friendly environment. The whole experience was great. Mike in finance finished the deal with us and we were happy when we left. We felt like we got everything that we had asked for. We were knowledgeable about our purchase and left happy that we choose Mazda of Clear Lake and got to work with Chris, Tim, & Mike!
Good basic car

This car is a great commuter vehicle. It's great on gas, has a lot of interior space and a nice sporty look. We bought it used at a great price and we are hoping it will last us for several years.
I recently returned from a trip wheee I put 600 + miles on it driving through the back highways of Missouri. The Dart handled it like a champ. Great gas mileage, and the auto stick was a lifesaver. The Dart is loaded with features I’m not seeing in newer cars with more options. Like the big touch screen. Wow. It is perfect. I love being able to touch one climate control and have the whole system turn on. Plenty of room, yet still considered a compact and gets great mileage. The rear pillar takes a bit of getting used to on the highway with the blind spot, but is fine. I love the auto dimming rear view mirror. I upgraded from a almost 19 year old car, so of course I wanted every option I could get. The Dart came in at under budget yet still had all the features I wanted.
There's definitely something wrong with the fuel system it jerks...the motor mounts are bad, the bottom of the car is falling apart, the automatic grill shutters are done, and this car is only 3 years old, it rides so rough even with oil changes current...im stuck in a horrible car deal.
