Kia Parkside, Colton, JT, and Matt were nothing short of a blessing to me. I was extremely nervous about purchasing a new car, but they made my experience painless and were very patient with me. Oh & I love my brand new Kia Soul!
If you do your homework on the car you want and they have what you want, do it! The best part was, the car was delivered to me! I felt like a baller when the car showed up in my driveway. Customer service was amazing. Best part, no pressure. Just me and my laptop, looking at all the cars until I found what I wanted. Just do your homework on the vehicle, you can't go wrong!!!!! Thank you all at VROOM........
Today the guys at Ole Ben Franklin Motors in Alcoa really saved me. My 2 yr old Lincoln MKZ was showing low battery in the key so I decided to change the batteries in both key fobs. They came apart easily but over 2 hrs later a total of 4 intelligent adults were unable to put them back together, so I am thinking I have to drive all the way into Knoxville to the delearship where I purchased the car. I had company coming and really didn’t have time but my car was useless until I did. So I jumped into my old Ford truck and took off. On the way I passed Ole Ben Franklin Motors so I thought why not try to see if they could do it. I walked in and explained my problem and the first guy asked if I bought the car from them. I said no and he said OK and went right to work on the fob. After a couple of minutes he decided there must be some trick to it and walked me over to Tom Weiss the general manager. Tom immediately smiled at me, took the fob and went to work on it. It took him about 4-5 minutes but he got it together and handed it back to me. I thought I may be pushing my luck a bit but took the other fob out of the bag and asked if he would do that one too. It was in 4 pieces so soon a delightful young named Mitchell walked up and between them both they got the second one back together. THANK YOU TOM AND MITCHELL for your graciousness. I was treated like their best customer ever even though they knew I had never purchased anything from them. They are the kind of people I love doing business with so I will give them a try the next time I need a car.
I had very specific requirements and Vroom was the only place that had what I wanted. They offered me blue book on the trade in and the purchase with no haggling. The car was as described. The lighting on their pictures was off so much I thought the interior was gray and not black. Luckily I'm fine with black. Customer service has been great. Delivery was fast. The car came with a white residue all over it, I guess the soap they use; I had to work hard to get it off. They delivered it to me in a public place with no gas. The fuel light was on. I wanted to drive around the parking lot and acclimate my self to the car but I felt immense time pressure to get to a gas station and as a result hit the road without even adjusting the mirrors. Kind of dangerous. Right now they are having a problem getting me the title almost two months after purchase; not sure if it's Vroom's fault but at least they are politely keeping me up to date and sending me a replacement drive-out tag since the first one is about to expire. As scary as it was buying a car online, I'd say overall it has gone well and I would recommend Vroom. Be aware that the contract forces you to give up your right to sue in court. You can opt out by sending a letter to Vroom's lawyers in New York.
I noticed a SUV on their website. I went down on a Mon morning to check it out & was apprehensive since this was my first Chevrolet purchase. Bobbi Blackburn took me out for a drive & put me at ease. I had other appointments that day so I left her my info & all the work everyone dreads at a car lot was done by that evening and papers ready to sign. They also worked to get me a great interest rate to help my credit score. I would recommend Bobbi & Volunteer Chevrolet to anyone!
I was looking for a specific Ram equipped with everything I needed to use it for a work truck. Rice had just 1 truck that met all my requirements. It was a white truck with the blackout package. I knew the moment I saw it that it was for me. Brian Myers went above and beyond to make my purchase a pleasant experience. I showed up 30 minutes before he was to get off work on a Saturday evening. He stayed with me and finished the sale before he left for the day. When I came in Monday to pick it up he had it gassed up and shined up. If you want someone to make your vehicle shopping an awesome experience then ask for Brian Myers.
I am in awe of this company and their forward thinking, revolutionary approach to purchasing an auto. Jon Dunaway and PALS have my sincerest thanks and appreciation for working with me to find a vehicle that not only fit into my budget but is reliable and a "sweet"ride. They were informative, patient and solicitous! I can't thank them enough and would encourage anyone now shopping for a vehicle to pencil them in as your first stop!
