The Journey exceeds all our family needs!! Plenty of room up front and the 2nd row. 3rd row suited for kids. Very good ride and love the steering! It turns like a small suv but has the room and comfort of a larger suv. The engine is plenty peppy enough for me. Had it fully loaded with people over the Christmas holidays to go look at lights. Had no trouble accelerating to get on the the highway or keeping up with traffic. The so-called experts are so far off!!! Absolutely love it!!!
As a retired tx DPS mvi trooper through my 30 years dealing with dealers carmax is most caring dealer. When we went to car max on gulf freeway to look for a new vehicle the salesman were very caring and helpful to find the velociraptor we wanted. We bought a 2916 Honda CRV with 10 mikes on the vehicle. We bought it. Service group was also caring and helpful. Keep up the good work. Larry parks.

We enjoy the vehicle and love the ride and number passengers it can ride. The vehicle features are awesome and the comfort in traveling also.
Overall 4 stars. Didn't give it 5 stars only because I dropped off my car at 9:45am for a 10am apt. Had some errands to run and asked if they could wash it once oil change was complete since i was in no hurry, (remember -I was dropping it off). I got a call back about 2pm that it was ready but we were still running errands, I asked what time they closed. I was told 5pm but to be there by 4:30. We arrived at 4pm and after letting the counter person know i was there for my car they realized it hadn't been washed so they said it would be a quick 5 minute wash, I waited approximately 20 minutes! Not a big deal but my car was ready at 2pm and you waited until i arrived to go wash it??? So not really a big deal but just wished it would have been done before i arrived but in the end it was a free car wash. Gave the facilities 3 stars because major renovation is occurring but I'm sure once it's all complete it will be great. So overall 4 stars.
No hassle, purchase friendly, quality cars, experienced crew, I can't say enough. I just completed my 2nd car purchase within one year and will be back in the near future. Thank you Gulfgate Dodge.

I didn't know what to expect because I wasn't expecting to drive it off the lot. It exceeded all my expectations and I have received nothing but compliments in addition to congratulations on my 1st ever NEW vehicle...
Exceptional service. Can't begin to count the ways that service advisor Gary Borel and the Gulfgate Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler team have gone above and beyond expectations to satisfy customers' needs. A+++
William Phillips made it so easy to buy my new truck a 2019 F-350 Platinum that is Black. It was so great working with him because he made the experience effortless. Friendly Ford of Crosby has great people working for them and I will be back to buy my next vehicle from them.

This vehicle meets mine and my families needs! Has the 3rd row seating what we definitely wanted. Has touch screen. My favorite part about the vehicle is that everyone/passenger can control their own climax from heating to air conditioning! It’s super comfortable and roomy. It definitely makes me feel safe while driving!
Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle

This car has great qualities. We have 4 children and everyone is able to fit comfortably. The only thing that I do not like is where the cup holders are placed in the front. I feel that this could have been designed better. The cup holders should be up closer to the drivers hand so that it is not a stretch to reach. Other that this it is a wonderful car!
Laurence was very professional and he got me in the car of my choice in less time. he addressed my concerns. Even though they were undergoing construction. All the sales men/women were smiling as they said hi to me.

This vehicle performs very well and I am surprised by it’s decent gas mileage on the interstate. It has Great room all-around for both children and our groceries . We are highly satisfied
I have visited this Carmax location several times over the years, but I’ve never actually bought from them. I appreciate their selection and no pressure process. If you prefer used cars like I do, it’s great to go to a Carmax and compare several makes and models in one place and get your trade appraised.
This time around I worked with Harold Speights, who did a great job of finding the cars I was looking for. This is harder than it sounds - the cars don’t always get parked where they belong after a test drive, especially on a busy day, so he had to do a lot of walking around. We ended up unable to find the exact vehicles listed online, which is the reason this Carmax doesn’t get 5 stars.
But Harold got me into the right things to try out. Once I narrowed down my interests after a few drives at a few different places, he texted me some stock numbers of cars at several Carmax locations with free transfers. I ended up preferring a different vehicle from a different dealer, but that’s not a knock on Carmax or Harold. Having the written appraisal in hand helped me get a better deal.
If you are shopping for a used car, Carmax is a great place to go. Only thing I’d change is that Carmax could do a better job tracking where the vehicles are on the lot.

Bought it with just 7 miles on it. Battery is hard to get to, you have to go through the splash guard after removing the tire. Headlights get moisture in them often, bulbs are somewhat difficult to get to. Appears to have a heater core leak already, not sure what kind of coolent it's using but it's expensive. Uses a new freon in the A/C that's not available yet. Foglights are not standard. Front license plate holder is not standard except in states that require them by law. Glove box is too small inside.
Does have an AT transmission and 4 wheel disc brakes. MPGs are nothing to write home about, averages 20.6 with 90% highway driving.
We bought this car because we wanted several of the features including, remote start, third row seating, heated seats and steering wheel, etc.
The third row seats are not really for older people because once you climb in you may not be able to get out.
It has some extra features such as storage compartments in the back floor for drinks etc. It does not have any sort of cargo cover which is a negative for us.
The gas mileage after a couple of thousand miles is at 20.3.
I do have a complaint about the lack of cup holders and their location. There are two for the front seat and they block the access to the compartment behind the cup holders.
The handling is good and road noise is minimal compared to what we are accustom to.
The seats are not as comfortable as I would prefer and the seats do not go back far enough to straighten your legs, so if you don't mind driving in a sitting position you are okay, it just isn't comfortable for me to drive with my legs bent all the time.
Something that is nice for long distance comfort is a place to rest your right foot beside the pedal which this does not have.
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
