They had a lot of nice cars to pick from under $10,000. Looked at a lot of new car stores for an inexpensive used vehicle and couldn’t find the quality for the price that Arko had.

24 years one owner!

Purchased mine new in September 1999 and I still have it in 2023. Sure things break but I’ve never been stranded and it has been nearly 24 years so I can’t complain. Drawbacks for the model are the plastic used in the dash cracked a few years ago. Other repairs included the computer failing (under warranty many years ago but the mechanical backup got me to the dealership for repairs), my injection pump failed last year along with the replacement fuel pump. I upgraded the steering so it isn’t so sloppy. Oh, the heater core leaks a little but StopLeak fixed that although I may replace the heater core and the dash while I’m at it. I sometimes wonder if the world will run out of petroleum before my truck wears out.
Sam is always fantastic! I have been going there for almost 25 years and he has always been a great salesman. I always know what to expect and he always has things in order and ready to go.

Much more reliable than the newer diesels with.

The newer cummins 6.7l diesels have a variable turbocharger, which is not as reliable. They are also strangled by extensive pollution devices including DEF fluid. These modern additions do NOT add to reliability and most definitely negatively affect fuel economy. This truck and engine combination will run forever.
Carmel Auto Group was an easy dealership to work with. They was professional and respectful. I would recommend them to anyone. Great car buying experience.

The Reason I bought a 2007 5.9 Cummins

So my review will be a little different than some of the other ones. I just bought this truck a month ago, 2007 RAM 5.9 Cummins, quad cab. I specifically was looking for a 2006 or 2007 RAM because it has the new body style and the 5.9 more reliable engine. The second half of 2007 is when the 6.7 liter diesel with the first emission controls started with the EGR's. The reason that I got one of these amazing trucks is because they don't have the problematic and expensive to replace emission controls, many have deleted them but its a federal crime and I am not willing to take that risk of a 25,000 fine if I ran across the wrong person, even though I live in the free state of Texas.
My Truck has been lifted 6" and has 37" tires, a SunCoast billet transmission. The owner that had it before me put in the transmission which is a known week spot in these trucks, he replaced the injectors with stock injectors and put a tune on it that gives it 450 horse power and some where in the 750 ft pounds of torque. Its fast! It does roll coal because of the tune, I am not a fan and will fix that. It is possible to get that kind of power while not fogging everyone out.
I got this truck to tow a 5th wheel RV while waiting for a 2024 Ford F350 Platnium, Tremor, HO. I sold a 2020 Raptor when I purchased this truck so when I say its fast, its fast. I honestly have kinda fallen in love with this truck, its fun to drive but kind of a rough ride. My wife is NOT a fan at all. There is actually a chance that I keep it for the long run and avoid the $1,400.00 that I will have on the truck I ordered.

I have been driving this truck for 14 years. Great off-road, on road, pulling my gooseneck trailer. 150k miles and drives like new. Had to replace the bed with one from Texas after it rusted out but well worth the money. Still gets amazing milage with 20-22 combined city and highway with a manual transmission. If you find one in good shape BUY IT. You will love it.
Been taking my 2010 Dodge Dakota in for some work. They do excellent work at a good price.

Drove from California to Arkansas pulling heave xxx 39 foot enclosed trailer has plenty of power tow /haul and engine brake excellent for slowing it down quick 105000 miles it squeaks on front end embarking for such a beautiful truck wd and hitting all zeros with fresh lube did nothing dodge. Should repair for free all Bush I ngs ans ball joints good inn er tie rods worn other than that it walks all over Ford super duty and gets 28mpg when not pulling a trailer
Best Truck I ever owned. My 2005 Dodge 2500 5.9L Cummins has been truly tested. I bought this RAM brand new and its first task, after a 1000 mile break in, was to tow my 10,000 lb boat (270 Sea Ray + triple axle trailer) from Portland Oregon to Boston, MA. It was a perfect break in for the new 5.9L Cummins engine. But I don't just tow my boat. I use this truck as a daily driver (60 daily commute) + weekend warrior. On the weekends, we (wife and I) explore New England. I have been 4 wheeling in NH and ME while carrying two kayaks. It's runs great in the snow, mud, rocks and even on snowmobile roads. (That was unintentional - we found ourselves on a snowmobile trail by accident. But the 35 inch wheels got us out with no problem). BTW - I put 35 inch wheels on by only adding a 2.5 in leveler to the front end. No lift needed. Had to replace the transmission at about 125K, but had a local guy put in a bomber transmission. He custom builds transmissions for Truck Pulls. I did learn that Diesel fuel does gel in cold temps. We went skiing in NH and stayed in a hotel. I did not plug in the truck that night, but even if I did, it would not have mattered. It got down to -23F that night and then next morning the fuel in the truck was totally frozen. After working with AAA for an half hour we concluded that the cold temps fully gelled my fuel and while the product (Diesel 911) can de-gel the fuel in the tank, the fuel filer was still fully frozen. Had the truck towed (100 mi) back home. Put it in a garage for 2 days and it started without a problem. Now I treat the fuel whenever the temps drop below 32F. Best truck I have ever owned. They do salt the roads in the winter in New England, so I undercoat the truck with Fluid Film every year to prevent corrosion. I trust this truck will get me anywhere, anytime and in any temps. I plan to keep this truck for the rest of my life. That 5.9L Cummins will likely outlive me.
I have been looking for an orange 2018 Kia Soul for a while. Saw it on their site, and I live 1000 miles away! Kris, our sales rep, went above and beyond in service and helped make it all happen. We had a few hurdles to get over because of our distance from the dealership, and he handled them beautifully. I would buy a car there again and recommend them without reservation. Kris is an honest, trustworthy guy and sticks to his word! Thanks, Kris; We love our car!

Bought a Toyota Camry little over a year ago. Fair price, and still runs well. It does burn a little bit of oil, but it was a common thing for this year model, but I was aware of it and rolled the dice. It did need new front brake pads and rotors and that was about it. I did add some aftermarket wheels.

My 2005 Dodge 2500 5.9 Cummins is perfect for the job of towing my 31 ft travel trailer. I love the vehicle so far. The interior is perfect. Everything works fine. It even has a fifth wheel in the bed for out next trailer.
After having purchased a 2021 ram longhorn and having been disappointed in the deal that the bank did, Justin in finance went above and beyond to make sure to make things right and ended up getting the bank to shave off thousands of dollars. He not only saved the deal but ensured I will now be a repeat customer. If it were up to me Justin would be the GSM he is awesome

I will own this and drive it until it will not go anymore and that is said to be 1,000,000 miles on this engine. This truck can tow anything and does amazing offroad as well as onroad. With the large cabin we can fit a full sized memory foam mattress inside and camp anywhere.
Scott was helpful ...i came to check on a Saturn and ibleft with a Tahoe. Price Value is okay. Car had tire and light issues but replaced those.. Other than that very Happy for a nice engine. Overall a great experience!

So far I put 230k miles on my truck. Other than a few expected replacement parts I have had no major repairs, only standard maintenance. It has tremendous power, idles and runs smooth, shifts solid, quiet in the cab and smooth ride on pavement. The interior has held up VERY well, no rattles or broken knobs etc.
I would give Jake and his team the highest marks possible for a used vehicle purchase from a dealership. I found a vehicle that met my needs that was in great condition at a fair price. I flew to Idaho from the mid-west US and drove it back 2000 miles without issue. They were very responsive to all my questions in the process of investigating the vehicle and they were very upfront about the condition of the vehicle. I looked at several other trucks on their lot while I was there and it appeared all of them were low mileage, rust free trucks in excellent condition. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from them again and in fact I plan to do so in the next year or so.

A great work horse, bullet proof Cummins. Only fault rusted rear passenger side fender. Used for business, heavy deliveries. I still wish I had this truck.
Great customer service! Tyler and Robert were easy to work with and put absolutely no pressure on us. The vehicles there range greatly in price and condition but they always allow for pre-purchase inspections with your own mechanic. That was really nice and we were able to get my daughter into a car that was safe and reliable. Tyler went above and beyond to make sure we were getting the best rates and were %100 confident in our choice of vehicle. We have had the car for several months now and will definitely be going back there for our sons car when he's ready. Thank you everyone at 507 for making the experience less stressful and a big thank you to Tyler and Robert! You guys are the best!!
