Even though it was assembled in Canada the major components were made in the states that provided a living wage to those involved. It's too bad that production ended in 2011 but because they last so long with proper care sales declined over the years.

Long haul for the right truck
by David and his excellent diesel from Fort Bragg, Calif. 95437
December 3, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 3.8 (35 reviews)
Flying to across county to Cleveland for a special truck a lot of trust was needed for Mr Auto’s integrity. Quickly I had to set off, (returning in four days!) and, potentially, to learn the hard way if the truck would perform. Other than a few minor issues that I don’t fault the dealership because one can’t expect perfection on an older used vehicle. There was a small forward vibration so I needed to have the front wheels re balanced $28.) Other than that minor concern and after over 3,000 miles I can say I’m most happy with my classic 12 valve 1997 Dodge Diesel which, after having it professionally checked out, is everything Bruno and Kory said it was. In fact, next Summer I plan to fly back out, looking to buy an economical car from Mr. Auto, and tour the Northeast visiting friends. I trust them to guide me in my selection.

This car looks good, runs great, has a great stereo, and was a favorite of New York taxi drivers because they knew they could get 500,000 miles out of them. It is good, reliable, comfortable transportation at a great price.

Made my first experience easy and enjoyable!

As a first time car owner, not knowing much about the used car business, I was skeptical and unsure of the process. Auto Country was able to show me the ropes and walk me through the process with minimal effort on my part. I am SO HAPPY I chose to work with Mike and the rest of the guys at Auto Country. From picking OUT my car on the website to picking it UP in person, the entire process took only 5 days. (It would have been MUCH faster, but I needed to find insurance first). The financing was extremely fair given my credit history (or lack thereof), which only made the process so much easier. Everyone had great communication with me and even dealt with the RMV and insurance company on my behalf, which saved me multiple headaches. All of this paperwork was completed in around an hour, and everything was very organized, which made it easy to understand. This all happened on a Thursday afternoon. Mike told me he would prepare get the car ready over the next few days. I picked the car up on the following Tuesday - it was detailed and in fantastic conditon for the year and model (2013 Chevy Cruze 2LT). It ran like new and had no problems! It has been a month with the car now, and I am still very happy with my purchase. Overall, Mike, Nick, and the rest of the guys at Auto Country were able to provide me with a first car buying experience I would recommend to anyone buying a used vehicle - whether it is your first or last car. They are honest, helpful, and not only know the business very well, but also thier customers. Would definately do business with again!

Great for its time, but no longer relevant
by PuccaBean from Philadelphia PA

I grew up with Crown Vic's and Grand Marquis, with my dad owning a 92 and an 03 Crown Vic, and my uncle owning an 87 Crown Vic, and multiple Grand Marquis ranging from 88 to 06. The 2003 Crown Vic drives just like those old big boats of old. Big, long hood, tall A pillars holding up a large windshield, and then a long trunk hanging out behind the rear glass. Large, thin steering wheel that takes half a turn before the car starts to respond; column shifter and large hump in the middle of the front bench seat, allowing only a small passenger between the driver and the front passenger seat. But hit a bump and you'll never feel it. The car just floats right over imperfections in the road. The V8 is powerful and gets the big car moving with ease, and surprisingly doesn't gulp fuel the way you might expect. However, the brake pedal is soft and mushy, requiring a deeper push before inspiring confidence. The exterior will forever be iconic. When you drive by a Crown Vic, there's no mistaking it for anything else. The interior, while large, actually isn't much larger in terms of usable space than your average midsize or large sedan today. The driveline hump that runs directly in the middle eats up legroom, and there isn't much storage space besides the door bins, seat pockets, and the enormous trunk. The materials look and feel cheap, even by 2003 standards. But people don't buy Crown Vic's for the interior materials. The seats are not very supportive, especially on long drives. But honestly, that's when the Crown Vic is at its best; long highway cruising. This car will always be a classic and a throwback to a much simpler and different time, when cars were meant just to transport family and cargo from point A to point B safely and somewhat comfortably.

I bought a 2017 Tacoma with only 5,800 miles on the odometer! Truck was like new just as described. John and Rob went out of their way to answer all of my questions and I had a few to say the least! I am from Ohio and took a one way flight to Norfolk, John picked me up in the Tacoma at the airport and allowed me to drive it back to the dealer. The truck was as described and they did everything they said they would do. Great group of guys and very little B.S Would recommend to my friends

Abdul and Ted at Chicago Motors are honest, amazing people. I had a real problem with the first truck I purchased from them. Within a week of the original purchase, I was driving a replacement, new truck purchased from them. Even though I believe the truck I purchased had the problems, from the auction they purchased from, Abdul and Ted stood behind their product. They did EVERYTHING they could to make me happy, including taking the broken truck back. I have no problems now with the new truck. I am a very happy and satisfied customer. These are extremely honest people with integrity and will stand behind their product and make you happy. Buy with confidence. I would not hesitate to buy another car from Abdul and Ted at Chicago Motors Inc.

I bought a 2011 Tahoe PPV for my job and was a little nervous about dealing with them and having the car shipped. I decided to take a chance and go for it. They gave me accurate info about the vehicle, tons of pictures, and the paperwork was easy and quick to complete. I paid for the vehicle on a Friday and the vehicle was in my driveway the following Monday at 8am. There have been no problems with this vehicle and it's proven to be a great buy. I saved thousands by buying from this dealer. My next vehicle will be from Asia Motors.

Incredible Experience
by Cara FirstTimer from Nashville, TN
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 3.9 (56 reviews)
The entire experience was incredible! It was my first time at a car dealership, so I was a little nervous. But walking through the process with John put me totally at ease. Before going up, I called ahead about the car, and John ensured I knew it was a manual transmission, so I didn't drive up without that knowledge. When I arrived, John led me to the car they had pulled out, and handed me the keys to let me drive it around the neighborhood. But as I had trouble getting it out of 1st gear, he asked if I needed help. He ended up giving me an in-depth lesson on how to drive a stick-shift--at least 30min out of his day. The bargaining process was easy--John was very kind. Good salesman, but a good kind of pushy, and it worked because we both knew he was giving me a good deal. And just to show you his great customer service, a good hour after closing, as we were still bargaining, I discovered I had "lost" my driver's license, so we drove back to one of our practicing places to see if it had fallen out....and then I found my license was in my purse all along. You know a salesman is good-natured and kind-hearted when he can laugh with you over something that ridiculous. Then, he let me drive my "new" car off the lot, and offered to keep my old vehicle even though we had agreed not to do a trade-in. He ended up keeping the old vehicle for me in their extra lot for 4 weeks, since their on-site parking is so small, until I could get back and pick up the old vehicle. And he had it brought back to their actual lot so it was a quick and easy process to pick up the title and the old vehicle. I cannot say enough about what a pleasant and great experience it was! I definitely recommend this dealership and John. I haven't been to other car lots, but I am so very grateful this was my first experience! I definitely plan on going back. John, you did it--you won my business!

Highway cruiser
by YeOldVic from Bracey
November 20, 2018
4
I helped my father find one. In 2016, we found a 2005 Crown Vic with 36k on the motor! An old lady owned it. If property serviced, it will run forever. That 4.6 v8 is the same motor in the Mustang if the era but tuned differently. Last gen V8's don't look impressive from a power standpoint but just drive one and you'll find they have plenty of power. Old V8's were low on horsepower but torque rich and that's what matters: it'll get up and move from a stoplight. Very comfortable, rides great, huge trunk, and just a great cruiser. My knocks? It's all last generation technology. Meaning, it won't ever sniff 30 mpg and averages about 22-23 mpg. Not bad for a V8 of it's era but not good by today's standards. However, big boulevard cruisers simply don't exist anymore so there isn't a car that compares. Maybe a 2018 Lincoln Continental? That's it. Next, cup holders are an issue. The dash has a pull out tray with two holders that are too shallow to hold cups. We had to get creative in my dad's and install boat cup holders in the tray so water bottles wouldn't go flying. For as big as it is, the rear seat is actually kind of small. Strange packaging because the trunk can fit multiple bodies (ha!). Finally, it's a lot of last gen squeaky plastic. That's what was used in that era. We took out the radio and put in a new deck with Bluetooth and USB to bring it up to date. Otherwise, it's a tape deck and a 10 CD changer! Yes, upgrade that radio! The styling is plain but attractive for a boat. It screams highway cruiser. Look, this is a big, easy riding, comfortable, safe, boat that is squarely last generation. But, it's so easy to drive and maintain. A great car for trips and while that back seat is strangely small, it's still adequate and bigger than most mid size cars today. It's exactly what my 75 year old dad wanted: a big cruiser that's easy to get into, easy to drive, and easy to maintain.

I have purchased several cars from Sensible choice over the past few years, so when it was time to get a new car for my wife recently, we naturally went to them first. The salesman, Wayne, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The owner, John, is a great guy and very reasonable (even if he is from Baltimore, lol). We found a model that fit the style we were looking for and at a price we thought was very fair. We would recommend Sensible Choice to anyone looking for a used car!

2004 Ford Crown Victoria I needed a new used car lol, since I couldn’t really afford a new one , this car had a great a maintenance record. These cars are pretty solid, mine is not a police interceptor , but it has the bones. I like the v-8 engine , and it gets about 21.5 mpg, which is what my old v-6 was getting. It does not have all the electronics that the newer vehicles have , but for the price I’m good with that.

I had planned to visit all car dealerships on Saturday, June 24, to look for a car I could lease, as the lease on my 2014 Malibu was up. My first stop was Harr's. An that was my last stop, because of Harry Howell. What a nice and competent fellow! He was not pushy or arogant, as I have dealt with in the past with other car salesmen. He showed me what I was looking for....a good, safe car at a price that fit my budget. He explained everything in detail. So I had to look no farther, I'm now the proud driver of a 2017 Honda Civic. Thank you Harry!!!

Extremely Mediocre
by Ben from Washington
September 11, 2017

I own the P71: the police interceptor package. Pro: Very reliable. Enough power, and decent fuel economy. The engine is without a doubt the selling point of the car. Con: Everything else is fiercely mediocre: The car is a little too loud on the freeway. The power steering works, but is not nimble. The door weather striping is, in several places, separating itself from the vehicle. The dashboard has warped from the summer heat. This car is what happens when hundreds of engineers get together and say "ah, good enough".

This car is so amazing the design is so aggressive I'm not saying it's better than the Taurus but it's nice cheap car. If it was used by the police it's in great condition because cops and whoever else use Ford Crown Vics they keep their cars and check even though they do have some problems the Crown Vic is the most powerful car there is for now.

Live 2 hours away from dealer. Was able to do preapproval and estimated trdein value over phone & w/pics of car w/antonio, Kythe and Jonathon. Once there Jonathan was awesome. Eric the manager was awesome w/tradein. Mark did the financial portion. Went very quickly and answered ALL my questions. Overall was an amazing experience. Would reccomend to any and everyone. Top kudos got to Jonathon Conley went above and beyond. Got what i wanted and more!!!!!!👍🏻😀😀😀

Best car Ford ever made. Big boat handles like a Porsche. Power is good but could have more. Fun car to daily drive. They should remake this car
