I love the staff at Fair Oaks Ford. This is our 8th brand new vehicle in 10 years. We moved from Naperville, IL over two years ago and we still come back for service and new vehicles. Serafin, our sales person is fabulous and very dedicated to his customers.
We bought 2 used cars just a few weeks apart (one for me, one for my son), and the experiences at the 2 different dealerships could not have been more different. We will come back to Rod Baker Ford again and highly recommend this dealership. We worked with Ryan in sales and Steve in finance. Both were very personable, answered questions, and explained everything very thoroughly. We never felt pushed, and we sincerely appreciate how careful Steve was when explaining every aspect of the financing, especially because at the other shifty dealership , that other finance person tried to cheat us in multiple ways so we had to triple check the math and have inflated charges removed. The interest rate we were given at Rod Baker Ford was 4 points lower than what the other dealership gave us, coming from the same lender and using the same credit score and a similar car price. Car buying can be a very stressful situation since it is such a huge purchase, and you really want to buy from people who are trustworthy. The staff at Rod Baker Ford are good people -- it's worth it to check them out even if it is a drive!

My truck was in the shop longer than stated. When I returned the loaner vehicle, the service technician inspected the loaner vehicle with a fine tooth comb before giving me the keys to my vehicle. I had left some papers in the loaner so I went back. There was a gentleman returning a loaner and picking up his vehicle. The service technician asked the gentleman was everything ok and is the tank full. The gentleman said yes. The service technician handed the gentleman his keys and said thank you. The service technician did not inspect this man car before he was given the keys to his vehicle. Maybe because I'm a woman? Maybe because I'm an African American? Not sure, however, this didn't sit well with me.
You know it's going to be a great review when you go from getting a letter in the mail to driving off the Hawk Ford lot with a brand new Silver 2018 Ford Edge. The promise made was they were interested in our 2009 Edge. The promise kept was we would find out how much they truly wanted that car and a new car sale. During the whole experience with Hawk Ford we were blown away by the level of professionalism coupled with true interest in us and our needs. We never felt pressured or duped into getting a car that wasn't absolutely right for us. We haven't been car buyers in Illinois, preferring to get new cars back in our home state of Michigan. Hawk Ford certainly changed our minds on that point. Because of an overall great experience we will be back for more new cars. In the mean time, I'm going keep talking to friends and coworkers about our new car dealership, Hawk Ford!
The service professional was attentive to me upon my arrival and made sure all of my service needs were taking care of in a efficient time frame. My vehicle was washed and ready for my departure. The staff was friendly .

Usually after a sale, the salesman is no longer interested (or available) for the problems of his customer. However, I must say Trajce provided EXCELLENT service and care for me dealing with three different problems that I created in the pouring rain on the dealership’s lot, 17 days after the purchase of my new Optima. All ended well as he assured me it would! He was great!
I would have given you a higher score except for one major issue I had with you guys. I received the survey right after picking up my car, which thankfully for you guys got fixed. This I truly appreciated. But for five days straight I received a phone call from you guys after receiving my survey. The phone call was reminding me to take the survey. I can not tell you how annoying it was. I understand you would appreciate my review but calling me continuously is not the way to get me to fill it out. I am not going to stop coming to you guys but I would appreciate if you guys would not do that next time.
Took care of all needs quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend them to others. Went the extra mile to get my issue solved and me on my way.
