This was my family's first Honda purchase, a 2018 Odyssey. After months of debating whether or not we wanted a minivan, we came across the newly redesigned fifth generation Odyssey. We test drove at another dealer and then began the search for the best deal since we were trading in a car we had only owned for 2 years. Honda of Concord was the last dealership we contacted but they were the most responsive and understanding of our situation. Everyone took the time to fully understand our needs (and wants) and worked to ensure they were met. I started conversing with Carson, who worked out the numbers with the purchase and the trade. While he did not beat the price of the van I had received at another dealer (don't fret, it was not by much), he was able to cut more than my trade's buyout to help make up some of the difference. Once all that the finances were figured out, Joy joined the conversation and knocked the ball out of the park. Every question I had was answered within a few minutes by text, often accompanied by pictures for visual aid if needed. Once we decided to make the deal after pre-approval with our credit and situating the payment where we wanted, Joy and the team worked to find the color van we wanted since they didn't have it on the lot and had it in hand ready to go within a few hours the following day (we made our decision to buy the van late one evening). Joy made sure to schedule our arrival at the dealership to sign the paperwork so that we weren't there longer than necessary (she knew we would have two small children in tow). Though that process took a little longer than expected once we arrived, we were understanding as we saw the traffic in and out of the showroom. As we waited Joy didn't leave our side; she went ahead and started to discuss our preferences for the Odyssey (given there is so much technology they ask how you want certain functions to work) until Kevin in finance was ready for me to process all the paperwork. Kevin had everything printed and ready, described all the figures and notes in full detail, and we were out of his office in 15 minutes. The van was waiting for us out front along with Joy who was eager to explain some of the amazing features of the Odyssey - from the RES to the tailgating capability 3rd row to 2nd row magic four-way sliding seats. She also went ahead and preset our preferences for some of the functionality as a result of the conversation we had with her earlier. My family loaded the car and we were off. Joy even checked in the next day to see how we were enjoying the van. First rate dealership through and through. If and when we are ready to buy another car - new or used - we will definitely visit Honda of Concord. I highly recommend Joy and am grateful to have purchased a car with her as our sales partner. Knowledgeable, understanding, efficient, and energetic. Joy and the team made us feel like family and we were catching up after not seeing one another for a while. Thank you Carson, Joy, and Kevin. Our family is thrilled with the Odyssey and only wish we were closer to stop in and say hi when the car will need service.

My car of 15 years was considered totaled after being hit by someone. So begrudgingly I had to look for another one. We came across Power on Auto and found a Ford Explorer! The staff were so friendly and accommodating to us by staying over hours since we had to drive 2 hours to see it. They have CLEAN, nice cars on their lot! Picture it: Sicily, 1918. Who begins a review with a Golden Girls reference? Me. That???s who. It???s an age reference so that the reader knows I???m a (mostly) adult person who is old enough to remember those kooky gals on the t.v that wasn???t flat. Or, I could be a 25 year old man-child living in my parents??? basement binge-watching ???80s re-runs while lounging on a 1970s couch carelessly eating stale Cheetos and wondering what shall become of my life. But The Facts of Life are on next so life goals don???t particularly matter right now. It???s the internet so you don???t know. You???re just going to have to trust me that I???m not the guy on the couch and I???m pretty o.k. at this adulting thing. But you know what matters right now, my dear readers? Being able to purchase a car from a good dealership. Well, that doesn???t really apply to the aforementioned guy on the couch because he needs to learn that you take the good, you take the bad, you take them both and there you have, the facts of life. Speaking of good, Gastonia Dodge is good. Like Friday night pizza and a pint of ice cream while watching Dateline in your jammies good. That means it was really good. From the moment I spoke to Sam I felt like I was more than just a potential sale; more than just dollar signs. I had a budget and needed a reliable used car to sell all my meth. What? Just checking to see if you???re still reading this. I needed a reliable used car to transport me to and fro my responsible and legal job. And to take my miniature primate (child) to school, the park, and various other places children frequent. Sam was personable and genuine. I had visited another dealership the day before and I walked away ashamed and embarrassed of myself and my budget and my fly wasn???t even down nor did I have toilet paper dangling precariously from my foot. I wasn???t treated like a person, I was nothing. But not here. Sam treated me with respect and there was an air of friendliness throughout the entire dealership; it hung in the air like a crisp Lysol scent from a freshly cleaned bathroom. Speaking of bathrooms, you shan???t be treated like fecal matter at this dealership. Sam took the time to listen. Everything about him was genuine from the second he answered the phone until I drove away in my beautiful Jeep. He knew I am a struggling single mother with a budget and he cared. His humor is a wonderful gift and he helped me feel quite at home in the dealership. I imagine if I had friends it would be very much like my time at the dealership. The atmosphere itself is soothing from the warmth of the carpet to the spike of Sam???s hair. All employees there were genuinely friendly. I am repeatedly using the term ???genuine??? because none of the employees were fake like my breasts. What? There you are, you???re still with me. Brad, the finance paperwork man (that???s a technical term) was wonderful as well. The beautiful thing about Brad is that he doesn???t cowpoop. He tells you exactly what the numbers mean and why they are there. Underneath his dealership-issued polo beats a heart of non-cowpoop gold. And so I say to you, my dear readers who are not watching The Facts of Life right now, if you are in the market for a vehicle please consider going to Gastonia Dodge. Sam and Brad were the absolute best and I am so happy. I never thought I could ever own a car that wasn???t around before the invention of the McRib. And now I do. Thank you so much, Sam and Brad.

Small SUV With Big Features

This is my second Ford Escape. I liked the first enough to buy another. The first was a 2010 XLT, this one is a Titanium trim. The 2.0 Turbocharged engine is peppy enough and responsive, and the transmission performs well enough and doesn't feel jerky or harsh. It also has the ability to be shifted manually in Sport mode. The interior is nicely designed and improved over the previous generation with more soft-touch surfaces and less hard plastic ones, which helps it feel less cheap. The leather heated seats are supportive (if narrow to those who are a bit bigger) and comfortable. The Sony stereo sounds great, and the large touch screen makes audio, navigation, climate, and phone controls easy. The panoramic sunroof is also one of my favorite features. My only complaint is that this system doesn't come standard with a backup camera (it's an option). For the life of me, I can't figure out why it wouldn't, as it would only require a camera and a wire at that point. Seriously? Beyond that, the styling is sleeker than previous generations of Escape, and fits in line with the styling of other SUV/CUVs in its class. That's not to say it's the same, but definitely the same language if not the same statement. I like that the edges are a little sharper than the Equinox's. The 19" wheels give it a little more personality and a higher-end look. Overall, it drives and handles great for what it is, has good cargo room with a few extra compartments (including one in the floor in the back seat, passenger side), and in the higher trim levels, lots of extra features.

I haven't had good luck with my last several cars. My 2013 Prius v was rear-ended in an accident and declared totaled. Looking for another car with a lot of room and great fuel mileage, I chose the 2014 Passat TDI as its replacement. Well we all know about the VW diesel problem and was prepared to wait for the buyback. But the A/C stopped working and the dealer quoted me $1,500 for repairs - on a car I'm turning back in several months. Seriously? I liked the way the Passat drove I was willing to buy a gas model, even though it wouldn't have the same fuel mileage I'm used to. But when I casually inquired, it didn't seem the dealer was serious about offering me suitable deal. The Sonata Hybrid was the only other car at the top of my list. The improvements made to the 2016 model made it very attractive to me and I did hours of research to make that decision. So I search my local dealers, and dealers in Charleston, Wilmington, and Charlotte areas. Low and behold I came across Keith Hawthorne Hyundai, loved what I saw online, made an online inquiry, and CP (Chris Perry) called. We talked a bit to make sure he knew what I wanted and said he would call back. He called back in about 10 min, cut to the chase about the numbers, almost exactly what I was looking for, so right then I agreed to purchase the car! I gave a deposit over the phone and picked the day I would come pick it up. I LOVE doing business that way! It was well worth my drive to Gastonia from Myrtle Beach. I credit CP for making this happen and being a pleasure to work with. Kelsey and Sean were also very helpful in making my purchase smooth and effortless. Thank you so much and if/when I'm in the market again for another vehicle, you can bet you're at the top of my list to buy another one!

If you could get pass the anti theft system

This car I bought used at 3 years old and 52K mi, I now have 87K on it. It is fairly decent on gas. The only problem I have had with it is the car seems to have a problem with bypassing the anti theft system in order to start. I have it to be serviced again. I had an ignition switch replaced 6 mo ago and it started having this problem again. It would start right up after turning key after pushing it in in ignition. then sometimes it wouldn't . it would take 10 to 15 minutes to get it started. The last time I had to leave it at the grocery store parking lot and getting it towed after 45 minutes of doing this

My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

I've been thinking about how to write this review without making it too long. There is just no way around it. It might be a little long.. I'm a retired senior citizen with a limited budget. My wife and I searched the internet for over two weeks researching the car we wanted in the Charlotte area. We found many but either the price was too high or the miles were. Then we thought we found it at Adams. They had a lot of good photos, we loved the color and it was a top of the line model. It had extras like leather interior, a moon roof, and a 12 speaker sound system with 360 watts of power! (I was a teen in the 70's and that thing can really put out some some great sound!) It also had low mileage and a great detailed carfax. I called to see if it was still there and it was. I told the person on the phone THAT was the car I was interested in and it had to fit my monthly budget. I told them what my monthly payment could not exceed and if I drove there to see it I needed to know it fit my budget. The next morning I got a call telling me they could hit my number and to come on down to see and test drive it. We went down, drove it, and loved it. Of course I just knew they were going to tell me my payment would be either what I told them or a few dollars more. Not only did Jason Dunham (Sales Manager) come in and tell me my payment would be $20.00 BELOW my budgeted number, but also he gave us a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty at no additional cost! Also, our final price included sales tax and licence fees. It was raining when we I got in to drive it home. When I got home I noticed a small "scuff" on the left corner of the rear bumper. My wife said "oh let it go! it's nothing..." After I reviewed the pictures and it wasn't there I called Adams and told them "I know I took possession and took it off the lot and take full responsibility for doing that, but can you do anything?" Well, Jason told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I brought it back and Jason said"of course I will fix that". So I took it back for the repair. Since we have such a unique color car and it is 3 years old they decided if they only pained that corner there may be a problem with a perfect match. Therefore, I had to leave it overnight as they decided to paint the entire bumper! No charge to me! It is a perfect match! I have bought many new and used cars over the years but NO ONE has ever treated me with such respect as Jason, and Henry. If you are looking for a great car for a great price you need to give Adams a try. You will not regret it!

This car is amazing and great. Lacks on gas mileage compared to what I am used to but handling over the winter weather is amazing. Best vehicle I have ever had for Ohio weather.
