It was time to trade in our 2008 Ford Edge, so we went online shopping. We saw a car that caught our eye and decided to stop in and check out Thrifty, based on a friends recent experience. The car we originally wanted to see had already sold, so we strolled the lot with Mike to see what was available. We looked at a Ford Explorer then a Jeep Grand Cherokee. Very easy going, no pressure whatsoever. We fell in love with the Jeep and purchased the same day! So easy and customer friendly. Easily the best buying experience we've ever had!! I just picked up my new car at CarMax of Hartford and, I have to say, this was the best car-buying experience I have ever had. I had found a Ford Explorer that I wanted to see on their lot. I put a hold on the vehicle on their website, very early in the morning. By 9am the same morning, I was contacted by Rocco Toce, the most awesome sales person around. I have bought many vehicles through the years and he is the top of the list! We went to look at the truck and he had it clean and ready for us to test drive. We loved the truck but it just didn’t have all the options that we were looking for. I found the exact Explorer we wanted in New York and Rocco jumped right in to help us transfer the vehicle to Hartford. I have to admit, it IS a leap of faith to pay the transfer fee upfront before even seeing the vehicle in person. Rocco jumped in and took over. He spoke to the other CarMax and had them check every part of the vehicle out. I felt very comfortable after he called and told me the truck sounds good. My Explorer made it to Hartford very quickly and Rocco immediately checked it out and let us know it was perfect! I went to see it yesterday. It was beautiful and in the best shape. Rocco took us through the entire car and never rushed us through anything. He sent our Explorer to detailing while my 2009 Silverado was appraised. I received a fair price for my trade and the deal was smooth and handled professionally by the staff. I’m pretty sure I have not had a better car buying experience. Rocco and the team at Hartford CarMax could not have done more to make our experience the best. I did a ton of research about CarMax like I’m sure everyone does. I drove over an hour to work with them and I am so glad I did. We walked out of there with a great, shiny Ford Explorer and the greatest car buying experience!
I had been looking for a new Mustang, either new or pre-owned. I had been to many local dealerships and was hesitant to go out to Windsor. I'm so glad I did! Anthony-the manager- contacted me and said Easton Lawson, their Mustang specialist would be reaching out. We set up an appt and he was fantastic. Everything you want in a salesman. Friendly, courteous and above all, very knowledgeable about the cars. I did choose a convertible and the whole buying process was very smooth. Easton knew I was nervous and he made sure all my answers were answered. The service was above the norm. For instance- the car only had one key which he did not realize at the time of the sale. He made sure another key was ready- and these are those fancy "keys" now a days. Not like going to the hardware store. Another nice touch- I left in my new car with a full tank of gas.
Overall- excellent dealership!
