I located a specific 2017 Expedition EL at Porcaro Ford and Shawn Moore quickly responded to my online inquiry. It is an 8-hour drive between me and Racine, but Shawn did two separate FaceTime sessions with my wife and me and was always responsive to my follow-up questions. First, Jorgen was a good sales rep. Online, the car appear to be exactly what we were looking for with a fantastic price. We showed up in the car had almost 2,000 more miles than what was listed on Cars.com.
We looked over the mileage and had it inspected at the Ford dealership. The car had some issues that indicated that it had been driven pretty rough for the mileage and it was CANANDIAN. Ford does not honor the same warranty for Canadian cars as it does for American cars. The specifications required for each country are different! Prices for Canadian cars are also cheaper and retailers can sell for a higher markup.
Though Anthony seem like a great person to go hang out with at the bar, he wanted to pretend like there was no difference between Canadian and American Ford warranties, would not make any price concessions for the increase in mileage then what was listed online and flatly stated that he was quite excited to be able to drive the car for a few more weeks until it sold.
Bottom line, do some heavy research and make sure that you are prepared to walk away if necessary.
I found the Challenger that I had been looking for at Miller Motors, Inc online. From my initial contact with Lori Iverson (Internet Sales Spec) to working out the details with Ron Greiner (Salesperson) and George Penzel (Pre-Owned Sales Mgr) and then the closing of the paperwork with Bob Haisler (Finance Mgr) I found all to be knowledgeable, personable and committed to making my experience a positive one with Miller Motors. I was so impressed with the entire experience and glad that I made the 2 ½ hour drive from Green Bay.
We bought a beautiful new Ford Edge today. We worked with Dennis to drive and select our vehicle and Marty to complete the paperwork. Both were very accommodating, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We were given ample opportunities to ask questions and never felt pressured.
Code viewed on dash engine was missing turned off restarted ran fine reported to dealership and they corrected problem in wiring under warranty same day no appointment was required and waited for repairs at dealership
The staff was able to get me a appointment on short notice before I took a trip. They got my car in exactly when they said and has it back to me shortly before the time the estimated for the service. I appreciate that my time was not wasted waiting and how friendly they were
