Low stress buying experience, courteous staff.

We were looking to trade a low-mileage car with a manual transmission that only one family member could drive. Had a good email exchange with Jordan, and made an appointment to drive the vehicle we had targeted. Arrived at Vestal, were cordially greeted, and met Bob Montgomery. Bob was very patient as we drove and looked at several vehicles. He was open about the deficiencies on the used models we looked at, and did not try to convince us to overlook those challenges. We last test-drove a 2014 Regal -- ironically what the wife drives (but not our initial target model). Car was in great shape, and I felt no difference in power btwn this model with the 2.4L e-Assist and wife's 2.0L Turbo. Then came the part all buyers dread: The inevitable dance of sale price vs. trade-in value. To our very pleasant surprise, Vestal offered top dollar (based on Kelley Blue Book dealer trade-in estimates) and their selling price was reasonable. When at the last minute I asked for a "real" spare kit (to replace the ubiquitous can of fix-a-flat), Vestal knocked $350 off their already low price so I can purchase it myself. We kept the Vestal team well past their closing time, but felt no pressure as we looked at and discussed our vehicle wants. Good job, all!
