Waterloo Sunset is Wonderful!

My wife and I began the process of shopping for a new 3/4-ton truck back in the Fall of '16. I had read books, online reviews, and articles about which to buy. We are a Ford family, so we knew it would be an F250, of some sort. Hadn't yet determined whether new or pre-owned. After six different visits to four separate dealerships in the St. Louis and Metro East area, I ran across Sunset Ford in Waterloo. What caught my eye was their warranty offer. Actually other dealerships in the St. Louis & Metro East area had warranty offers too, but no one was as friendly and easy to work with than the Sunset team. Dave Wedemeyer (sales agent), Mike Rich (sales & service manager) and Jimmy Williams (business office manager) at Sunset Waterloo were top rate! I sent an email to the dealership to inquire about the warranty and received an immediate reply from Dave Wedemeyer. That was back in the early Spring '17. From that point forward Dave responded to all my questions and requests in a timely manner. One email led to another and another, and the replies were informative and consistent. Thank you, Dave! Our thought of purchasing soon morphed into building a vehicle. It was much easier to get what we desired with a custom built truck. I spent hours on Ford.com finding the exact features we wanted in a truck. After weeks of decision making, we went to Waterloo Sunset to place the order. Being Easter weekend, there was very little traffic at the dealership, however that didn't stop Dave and Mike Rich from being attentive and personable. We didn't spend the traditional 4-6 hours buying this car, instead Dave was prepared. He did his homework, and knew the specifications of our order. Dave was more than engaged with our purchase. He has been the top salesperson we have dealt with EVER, and we have bought five vehicles. I give Dave 6-stars out to 5! No question, he had our best interest in mind. Mike Rich, sales and service manager, was also very professional and willing to work with us. He does have your best interest in mind, while also keeping in mind the bottomline of the dealership. In the end, Mike was very fair! He also assisted in the process of filing for the New Graduate rebate, which I qualified for. Mike was extremely knowledgeable about what was needed and took care of the whole deal. When we picked up the truck in late June, Mike was there to greet us with a friendly smile and handshake. Superb! Finally, I must give credit to Jimmy Williams who helped close the deal and represented the business office is fine fashion. He talked us through the warranties and was very honest. Much appreciated! If you are in the search of a Ford vehicle, no matter the make or model, I would highly recommend you give Sunset Ford Waterloo a look.
