A few years ago, my parents purchased a Chevy Cruze for me as a graduation present from a different dealer and we had an absolute HORRIBLE experience. While owning my Chevy I would go to the dealer closest to my office and would have a TERRIBLE experience every single time I go. Now it's time to purchase a new vehicle a Chevy was at the bottom of my list when researching. But on a day off, I wondered into Bill Kay where I met Jen Senders. She sat at her desk and greeted me with the biggest smile. I walked over and we chit chatted. Not once did she ask me about how much money I was looking to spend total, a credit score or a monthly car note. She listened about my experience before and asked me about my home life, how far I drove to work. I told her I like the new upgraded Cruze. She got me exactly what I told her I was looking for, didn't try to up sale me. It was almost like she didn't want to sell me the car at all, and the more she didn???t try to sell me, the more I wanted to buy. She gave me the keys and told me to drive it around and see how I liked it. I guess my face said it all because when I came back she immediately moved me to another car that she thought I would like. The Chevy Trax. I drove the Trax and fell in love. And guess what, the Trax had $8 grand in incentives that I qualified for. Didn't have to be in the military, or drive for Uber or recent college grad or only have a left kidney. Jen then introduced me to the finance director who happens to be her dad, John. He talked to me about the car I was driving and explained to me the trade in process. When I mentioned the car loan was not in my name, he said ???we still have your back, no worries, just get your mom in and we will be all good.??? I told him I didn???t want them running my credit to 900 lenders like the last dealer and he said ???NOT AT ALL, only guys who don???t know what they are doing, do that. I???ve been in this business 35 years, trust me???. I was ready to purchase the car on Friday (2/17). The EASIEST process I have ever experienced. In 1.5 hours I owned my car. No haggling the sticker price, no negotiating the monthly price. No running my credit to 800 different lenders. The longest part was waiting for Eric the finance guy because he had a client before me. He even made that process quick and painless. Jen single handedly got me to purchase the Chevy brand again, and I will be back to do business with ONLY Bill Kay. Thank you Jen, John and Eric. Oh and even Jose for selling the car I originally wanted, and making me get an upgrade model for just dollars more.

Great service and amazing facility from head to toe. The first time n my life I was able to buy a vehicle without needing to leave over price augments back and forth. It was the right price the first time! Not including the time on my test ride I was in and out with a new car in about an hour. No hidden paperwork, no hard sale pitches. A month ago purchased preowned 2014 F-150 from Sheehy Ashland. It developed an oil leak (rear main seal). Under Sheehy warranty was repaired with no cost to me. In addition they provided me with a 2018 F-150 to use while my vehicle was being repaired at no cost. Thank you Sheehy Ashland for your excellent customer service and repair to my F-150. I???ve been to many car dealerships in the past (I???m a car enthusiast/work for a company that makes racing video games (And I love my cars)! Early January, I purchased a 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat from Thomas Dodge. First experience wasn???t with Faye, but it was a great experience regardless. August of this year, the appeal of the Hellcat wore off for me (Between going through a set of tires every couple weeks + the gas mileage + RWD in the winter = death sentence), I was looking to get another vehicle. I went to a Ford dealer first to check out a Ford F-150 Raptor, and they wanted me to fill out a credit app/get bank preapproval before even being able to test drive the Ford Raptor (Really?). I immediately left and went down the block to Thomas Dodge. Faye???s my go-to salesperson at Thomas, and I met her early in the morning. I told her what I was looking for (Something fast, luxurious, towing capability, cargo space, and a real show stopper). First she recommended the Trailhawk (A great suggestion), but that wasn???t good enough for my need for speed. Next she recommended a SRT Grand Cherokee (Great suggestion, any other day I would say yes - but I wanted to go all out with my vehicle that I would be driving on a daily basis/my company vehicle). ???Trackhawk???? ???Trackhawk??? It was early in the morning + I didn???t have breakfast, so I asked Faye if she wanted to go get a snack (On me). She prepares the car (That nobody has driven yet), and a few minutes later, we head out to Starbucks. Faye???s a Mopar enthusiast, so we had to get on it a little bit on the backroads. I???ve never had my breath taken away by a car???s performance/style (I was grinning cheek to cheek like a kid in a candy store). We pickup our Starbucks, head back to the dealer, and go over the paperwork. The paperwork process was pain free, and Faye guided me throughout the entire process + outlined/explained each thing I had a question about. She also explained to me my financing options (Opted to go with a lease through FCA, because I go through cars the same way I go through shoes). About an hour or two from the time I walked into the dealership, I was walking out with the keys to my brand new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk! Faye is the best salesperson I???ve had the pleasure of doing business with (Not limited to car dealerships). She???s honest, understands the needs/situations of each and every one of her clients, finds/sells the best quality vehicles out there, and makes the entire process pain-free & enjoyable. I got fayebolized, and couldn???t be happier - thank you, Ms. Giles!

November 22, 2018: Here is a description of my experiences at Lake Shore Toyota, with sales consultant Mike Pietrzak and General Manager Kim Gillette, resulting in my purchase of an SUV yesterday. (1) I was informed by Mike that nobody at the dealership had any incentive to mislead customers, because they are not compensated by commission. He also informed me that the prices shown on the vehicles are non-negotiable. (2) He listened to what I said I needed, and he suggested the RAV4. (3) I drove the RAV4 and said that I would buy it. (4) Mike prepared a pricing form showing me the list price, as well as Toyota incentives and dealer incentives, and the sales tax. There was no discussion of trade-in value for my car because I did not indicate that I would trade it. There was also no discussion of add-ons like extended warranties, fabric protection, etc. (5) when I stated that the price was acceptable, the General Manager, Kim Gillette, went to her office to explore financing options. Fifteen minutes later, she came back with a printed document showing the various possible options and told me which she thought was best. Being equipped with an MBA, I immediately saw that her suggestion was correct. (6) I decided to trade my car. Kim drove it, and offered me $2000 for my 11-year-old, oil-burning Honda. I accepted the offer. This trade-in value was factored into the price of the RAV4. (7) I made a small deposit and went home to unlock my credit report. (7) Within 3 hours of my unlocking my credit report, Kim had obtained financing from Teachers Credit Union at a lower monthly payment than she had originally estimated. Kim also suggested that I come in after 5:00PM, to minimize waiting. (8) I showed up at the dealership at 5:10 PM. Mike had already prepared all the documentation. At this time, he reviewed with me the various add-on options; I declined then all, and he did not try to change my mind. I signed the documentation. (9) Mike took me out to the RAV4 and showed me how to use all of its numerous features. (10) I left at 6:50 PM, with a new RAV4, for a final cost of $25,068 (including tax). NOTE: The entire process was transparent. I was provided documents I could take home to study or take to another dealer for comparison. I was free to try to find better financing. At no time was I presented with one ounce of BS. The people at Lake Shore Toyota will not try to manipulate you, lie to you, or take advantage of you. This has been a new experience for me. Needless to say, this is where I will get my cars from now on. Plus, I love my RAV4.

Like most I was very skeptical about buying a car online. But I did my research and google'd the company like crazy. What I found in my research is the company had laid off people due to rapid growth and during this time frame the reviews were not good at all. Which to me makes sense and most likely vroom could have done a better job to make sure customers did not feel the effects. But after that period the reviews were really good. Also they have a very high rating with the BBB. That all said I decided to purchase my Jeep Wrangler through Vroom. The entire process from start to finish was awesome! I did not do a trade but just a purchase. I submitted my request for finance and purchase on 7/29 Sunday morning and received a call 7/30 Monday morning. I spoke to the sales person which there was no pressure just Q&A. I put down a deposit so I could secure the Jeep. There was communication via email by Vroom throughout the process including when the Jeep was in route. My jeep was delivered within the time frame they explained, which was the following Friday 8/10 cleaned and in excellent condition. I received my tag and paperwork about a month after the Jeep was delivered. I have 3 kids so spending 4 hours at a dealership is not fun. I would definitely buy from Vroom again. I hope this review helps others who might be on the fence. (Atlanta, GA)

This is my second vehicle purchased from Vroom in the last 12 months, and I can't imagine ever buying a used car from a brick-and-mortar dealership again. Vroom offers a terrific selection of late model used vehicles. The pictures really make it easy to know what the car looks like. I purchased a 2015 BMW 5-series, and the Vroom price compared to a similar make/model/mileage vehicle from CarMax was $3,000+ cheaper. I selected my vehicle over a few weeks of looking at photos. I filled out a credit application online, and they immediately called me to finalize the app, discuss rates and payments, and to get my $500 deposit. I have shopped for cars in a variety of ways in the past (that CAR place with a MAXimum amount of cars, dealerships, etc...), but I will NEVER go back to those other ways again. This truly was the most transparent way to do business and should be a model of how we can successfully run our own businesses by allowing passionate and knowledgeable people into the correct positions to succeed. Here is our story: We were greeted promptly when we entered the show room. From past experiences, this would have been a dread as often on a car lot, you feel like a meal to the vultures, but they just wished to know what you'd like to do (buy, trade-in, just look around, etc...). They then pair you with a salesperson. We were fortunate enough to have Sam Hackett in sales to help us throughout the process. He educated us in how best to use Off Lease Only so that we get exactly what we set out to find. He showed us the transparency the owners want buyers to have (they provide not only carfax, but a third party company called 360 to let you know about any work done on a vehicle, as well as any accident details that could help make your decision better). He was patient and allowed us plenty of time to view the vehicles with him nearby, but not standing right next to us to eavesdrop like so many past salesmen have done at other companies. He graciously answered all of our questions and for the few he didn't know, he got us contacts to get the answers we sought. Along the process, we also met Chad Wickline, one of the Managers who was courteous and willing to chat for any length of time that we needed. We also met another manager, Gil Amir who sat in the car with us and helped us figure out all the buttons as there have been many advancements added to cars since our last purchase almost a decade ago. Never once did I feel like they were rushed to speak to the next person and we even got to know them as people a little more through the conversations we had. As we are a couple with younger kids, they could relate to what we were asking about due to their own experiences and it made for a very enjoyable overall experience. Our test drive was great! Sam said if we wanted him to, he would ride with us, but if we chose to, we could test drive alone. We loved being able to choose our own options as opposed to feeling as though we were being supervised the entire time. Due to our own timing, we even had to leave before the purchase to pick up our daughter from daycare and they helped us start the paperwork process and then let us go in the middle to complete this task. When we returned, there was Sam ready to say hi and help us reach the finish line. We spoke with Will Huffman in finance who was pleasant and transparent, as well as willing to listen to what we wanted, as opposed to trying to make us do something we didn't feel like signing up for. I could see this process taking some people only an hour or two from start to finish if they know how to use their system properly and know exactly what they want. We required more time than most to make our decision and to complete our extra tasks, but never once did we feel rushed. Sam was with us from 12:30 when we arrived, through 8 pm at night. I know not everyone always believes these reviews are true online, but I assure, this one is. Today they made a lifelong purchaser and client and you better believe I will be letting anyone know that is looking for a car that the best place to start (and finish), is Off Lease Only!
My second Escape

I cannot find anything wrong with this 2019 SE Ecoboost model. My previous 2016 was normally aspirated. However, that engine is not available on this year’s SE. I honesty cannot tell much difference in the power or fuel economy. The safety features are great including blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, collision warning, and cross traffic alert. The Sync3 works well and understands all commands. I use Google maps with the Apple Car Play. You really do not need navigation. Great car for anyone.

We love the comfort of the Escape and the roominess. Being able to fold down the back seats provides us the room to transport almost anything. The color is a personal preference but I am delighted to have Ruby Red!

Car buying online can NOT be this easy anywhere else. Submitted credit app, followed up on the app on Monday 6/11/18, got approved, received contracts on Wednesday 6/13/18, returned them back at a FedEx drop-off box, Vroom recevied them on Thursday 6/14/18, paid my deposit as well, Vroom Rep called me on Friday 6/15/18 and said my car had been moved to the shipping department to be inspected and prepared for shipment. On Monday 6/18/18, I received an email saying that estimated delivery day would be 6/20/18. At this point I'm over the top anxious and super excited for 6/20/18. On 6/20/18 evening, around 5:50 p.m., Vroom Rep calls and tells me that the delivery guy won't make the delivery time scheduled for 6/20/18 so it'll be 6/21/18 when he delivers the car. I received my car on 6/21/18 at 6:00 p.m. at a Wal-Mart super center parking lot. I signed the bill of lading and received my keys. Oh, and there must had been miscommunication between the delivery guy and Vroom, because before he handed me my keys he asked who was going to pay him, and I told him my shipping fees and all were included in my financing. So he said they are probably just going to send him a check. Other than that; everything went extremely smooth. I did not run into any problems other than the day delayed delivery (which wasn't a big problem). I am completely satisfied. I received my paperwork and my car all in ONE week!!! ONE week!! It does not get any better or easier than that. The car is freaking awesome, l LOVE it!! It's just like brand new on the inside and almost on the outside, I take that back, it is pratically brand new on the outside with just minor scratches and paint chips. I love love love my car!!! I would highly recommend Vroom to family and friends and to anyone looking to purchase great vehicles at reasonable costs. In the future, I plan to purchase again from Vroom. Thanks Vroom!!

Very comfortable cockpit. Console perfect as an armrest. Peppy with turbo 4. Nicely appointed. Test drove BMW X1, X2, GLA, Volvo, Audi Q5, and felt this was pretty similar vehicle for less money.

I have less than 1,000 miles on my 2019 Escape SEL 4WD, so ranking the reliability is really pointless. However, I am very happy so far with my purchase. The price was right, I'm averaging 25 mpg with cold-weather driving, it's comfortable, handles easily, easy-to-use technology, smooth driving experience, and has just the right amount of cargo space for us. I like that this is a US made car and a friendly Ford dealership is close by. We have owned many Fords over the years, my first being a brand-new '82 Escort with a manual transmission that served us well for over 200,000 miles. Hope to drive my Escape for a long time to come!
