The first time I bought a car (not from CarMax) it was a terrible experience and I was stuck with a hunk of junk that was worth far less than what I owed. CarMax made me an amazing offer for it, and helped me pick a the SUV of my dreams that was within my means! Affordable, beautiful quality, it looks and smells BRAND NEW - no one would ever suspect it was used!! The buying process was so simple and quick. My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

I have a 2014 Ford Escape Titanium. Back, 10 years ago, when we bought a 2005 Ford Five Hundred, I was introduced to the Quick Lane. I have since been back with any all issues. It's fast, its affordable (especially with Ford Coupons), and it gives me incredible peace of mind that Ford trained technicians are working on my Ford. One thing happened last visit that makes me have even more faith in them. My engine guard was hanging down. I told the technician during check in, and he came back and told me that the screws were missing, but that they would fix it and make sure my fuel efficiency is fine, and that it doesn't fall down any more.

My wife and I are looking to buy a New svu this Sunday after church we stop by to see what they had. She found a 2017 Ford Escape. She has never gone to look at cars before. She I'm in love with this car. On Monday morning I called the dealership and talked to Mr James Bennett. I give him the stock number. He told me he call me right back what she did. We worked out the deal with him. When we got to the dealership the car was nice and clean. My wife move the car and she loved it. She asked if the paper work was done. Mr Bennett told the we asked for was exactly where she wanted it. We traded in a 2014 Mustang.Ron speller was so patient with her we left the dealership at 10:30. What I was most impressed with Ron he went all over the equipment of the car for her got the owner manuals out showed her everything about the owners manual. Capital Ford need two be very pleased with Ron speller and Mr. James Bennett. BOTH man have alot of integrity.

I’ve leased my 2017 Escape for two years now. The only problems I had with it were a remote key fob that didn’t work. At the two and a half year mark at 14,000 miles the check engine light comes on. Code reading shows a bad coil in the no. One cylinder. Dealer fixed it. Four days later light on again this time it’s the number 4 cylinder. Good no more problems i like the car but the eco engine is woefully underpowered. Takes Forever to get it going. Space is good and I wish I had gotten the sync 3 entertainment system but sync is ok All in all it’s nit bad but to make it better you have go go up in trim and of course price I will not purchase or lease it again.

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

Yes, where do I start. Do I start with this being the best car buying experience I've ever had? That would be too obvious. But it would be the absolute honest truth. I think that everyone is so used to going to the dealership. Being there for 8 hours (you should get paid for being there you're there so long). Sales people trying to up-sell you on every little thing that you didn't ask for. Just an all around miserable experience. Then you go to carvana.com. You put in exactly what you're looking for. Exactly what you want to pay and presto you have a wonderful car. I believe it took me 45 minutes to do this entire transaction. From first going on the site and finding my 2016 Chervolet Equinox (maybe 15 minutes). To uploading my paperwork (5 minutes). To being approved (5 minutes). To having the car delivered, taking a test drive and signing the papers (20 minutes). It was the best transactions I've done since finding my husband. I've told everyone I know about this. We've watched videos of other people getting their cars. Too funny. Thank you Carvana for this wonderful experience. Can't wait to get my Husband a car now.

This is the third Ford Escape I have owned. I have stepped up in model each time. This is a Titanium. I am loving all of the ' bells and whistles' it has. It has plenty of leg room front and back; and the cargo space is fabulous. I am loving the moon roof and heated seats, too, as well as the mpg.

I being a single mom with 2 kids and bad credit(2 repo's and ALL) came to Matthews Motors on 4/15/17, I had the vehicle in mind I wanted, it was already sold the day before. I opted to buy a 2013 Cadillac XTS a sweet ride with low mileage. However, after 4 days I realized this was NOT the car for myself and kids. I could not believe how easy - and fast - buying a car could be. I decided a used car was for me, so I started looking online and at local dealerships. All I can say is that that experience was enough to put me off the whole process. Dealer add-ons. Limited or no warranty. ???What are you willing to pay???? Enough!!! I saw an ad online for Carvana, which I had never heard of, and thought ???what the heck.??? Such a great find! From the quick and easy search, to no haggle pricing, to easy payment (I was able to pay cash online, but they also offer financing), to a no-risk 7-day return policy AND an additional 100-day warranty on top of that! There was nothing to lose. It took only a few days for delivery - to my home! - and the paperwork was handled in about 5 minutes. They even had a notary show up! They handle the registration, too - no waiting in line at DMV. Bottom line: I love the car, I got it at a good price, and it could not have been easier. Actually, it???s scary how easy it was. I have to stop myself from looking more on he Carvana website, lol.

I am 300 miles north of this dealership...I spotted the Silverado I wanted on their website....about 20 minutes later the bottom line deal was done. To be honest, I didn???t wake up wanting to buy a car but the car my son was driving wasn???t doing so hot. After checking the local area through USAA, I came apon JT Auto and found the vehicle that met most of my requirements. After a bit of deliberation, I made the hour drive out to Sanford and met Devin and TJ. They are great to work with. No pressure from them or sugarcoating. They knew I had everything set up before I got there and listened to my requests and renegotiated. Trust me, I did have fun doing this. I almost got everything I wanted. (Almost 3/4 of it 😉). I hate buying cars. In fact, I hate dealing with major automobile sales, service, and other people of automobile organizations of any type at any time. I had just moved from the Mountain West to NC and needed a new car. We had had my wife's Cadillac serviced at another dealer when we first arrived and paid over $600 for a 60,000 mile service and they didn't even catch, much less replace the torn windshield wiper blade we had. I put off walking into another dealers to look for a new car for 2 months. Finally, I searched online for a car the would fit my personal needs. I settled on an Impala and put the word out online. Offers came in from area dealers. Dreading the interaction I picked Hendrick Southpoint first (it was closest), set up an appointment and went in. Things did not start well, JJ is a Dallas Cowboys fan, I root for the Washington Redskins. To ward off my rising anxiety, I told JJ that I was not looking forward to the interaction and the BS that would come. I said I had walked out of many places in my life because of the hassle of purchasing major items, especially cars. He said, "I understand." I thought, "well, there's BS #1." He offered a test drive right away and afterward we got down to specs and dollars. I told him that I didn't want that car I drove at that price and described what I wanted. It wasn't on the lot. Instead of trying to sell me one on the lot, JJ went looking for the car nearest to my specifications that he could find. We reviewed it on paper going over every detail to make sure it met my desires. Then I gave him a price, he took it to his manager (of course, part of the system I hate) but the manager came out and talked turkey right away. Clearly JJ had told him that I wouldn't hesitate to walk if I thought there was too much BS. He started calling other dealer GM friends of his to find a car that matched as he couldn't find one in the area. He located one in Delaware and traded a truck for it (I could hear the gulp outside his office). The finance guy didn't give me any hassle either -- no this warranty or that support system. When we were through I wasn't even charged a destination fee so I bought the "optional" $199 oil service "plan" as a sign of good will. The one problem was getting the car over Christmas weekend. It took them a few days longer than promised, but it made sense--who wanted to give up their Christmas to drive 400 plus miles to get me a car. JJ kept me posted on things and when I reminded him that Hendricks had my money, car unseen for a week, he found a way to make up for it. When we first saw the car, it was gorgeous, especially the interior, with most of what we wanted and little of what we didn't. Another customer group coming through the show room saw it and literally gasped. They loved the color and design. JJ was true to his word, worked hard to meet my fairly inflexible demands, dealt well with his colleagues and made sure I got what I wanted. Over the week that this purchase activity went on I was receiving calls, texts, and emails from other dealers in the area, but their offers were no where enticing enough to get me to drive over their way. In the end, thanks to JJ and the Hendricks team behind him I actually enjoyed buying the car. I even found an excuse (not enough air in the tires) to go back a week later and say hi to everyone. The service people were as responsive and nice as JJ, plus they didn't root for the Cowboys. Every time I look at the car I smile at the fun it was making the purchase.

This vehicle so far is just what I was looking for.. Not sure yet how it performs in the snow hopefully it will be great seeing I live in the country with hills and etc..

Recently visited this dealership to view a used Ford Explorer I've been watching online for awhile. I notified the dealership by email I would be coming up to look at the vehicle, Lindsey replied quickly and said she would put the vehicle on hold for me, which was very nice of her to do that, a recent dealership actually refused to that for me. Erik greeted me at the door when I arrived and quickly got me squared away to go look at the Explorer. Erik, answered all my questions that I had and was extremely friendly the entire time. Unfortunately I did not purchase the explorer, numbers I had been working at home, didn't work with the ones they provided and put me out of my budget, which is bound to happen sometimes and I don't count that against the dealership. When I walked away, got to meet one of the sales managers, definitely told me to keep eye on the explorer in case they go down in price again, which I liked that. In past couple of times I've walked during this process(other dealership0, they'll try to get you to look at lower price models or something else entirely, so they get 5 out of 5 for not doing that. Check this place out, huge selection of inventory, staff is professional and very friendly!

Needing to buy a van while a hurricane is heading our way, definitely had me starting out in the negative. I spoke with multiple dealerships & physically went to six others. The service Jayson provided was completely opposite of what we experienced with all of the others. He answered all of my questions, addressed any concerns and wasn't pushy or in my face. And anyone looking to buy a car/van knows how rare it is to not have a fast talking, in your face salesperson. I knew what I needed when I went in & he respected that & didn't try to put me in something else. The young lady that processed the paperwork for me was also very pleasant to work with. We WILL be heading back next summer to buy my teenage daughter her first car & she's already made it clear that she wants Jayson to be who she works with!
