Be sure to get the Titanium model with the larger engine. It is a joy to drive, to start remotely on a cold winter morning, and to use the GPS to find almost anything. I especially like the warning lights that show cars on either side. It is a great car.

I bought mine used with 17,000 miles for $17,000, and it's a 2017. I guess 17 was the lucky number lol. My Escape drives well, feels very comfortable, and is pretty good on gas (average 4 banger gas milage ) beats any 6 or 8 cylinder. I have the base model , so the engine isn't the fastest, but I'm not racing anyone ever. I never feel underpowered, or unsafe on highways. This little truck holds own in any senerio. I'm not sure why people are giving negative reviews maybe competitors trying to sell their brands🤔 . This is a good suv , and it looks great. I would buy it again, it keeps me warm and safe in Chicago winters. Cranks everytime I turn the key even in sub zero temps. I remember Chicago being the coldest place on the planet for 24 hours a couple of years ago. I worked that night I believe it was -50 or close with the wind chill. I worked that night as a nurse , my escape ran like a trooper. If a vehicle runs in Chicago winters .....it's a tank and passes my test hands down. My 2011 BMW x 3 ummmm.....failed as a winter vehicle. It costed twice as much BEFORE THE "CHIP SHORTAGE" PRICES . Need I say more ????

They are a godsend! I was lost and stuck and they did everything they could to get me in a car. I got more than I paid for my trade in, I was able to drive away in a better car that same evening. I could tell you more but I think if you are looking for a car you should go see for yourself how much of a blessing those people really are.

We've bought a 2011 Escape and traded it in for the 2018 fwd. I much prefer the 2011 model that drove like a truck and had a better subjective design and way better 360 degree visibility. Yet styles change and the 2018 fwd looks like a crossover. The model we chose had a small screen but there were other good featured like fuel economy and big front windshield. It had good cargo space and some storage by the spate tire. Happy Trails and use the vehicle to escape to the outdoors from the cement jungle of the busy city life.

I’ve only had mine a year but have enjoyed it. It’s been dependable. Performance is ok. Nice looking. I don’t like the layout of the radio/computer. If I want to change settings on computer I automatically rest my hand on the channel selection and then have to find your station again. I have lost the fuel efficiency engine off no longer works. All in all I really love it!

The vehicle looks very well designed. It rides nice on our mile long dirt driveway. Easy to drive and real comfortable, with great visibility all around outside.

I have been very happy with my 2015 scape. For me it was been very comfortable and easy to get in and out of. Seems to just wrap around and cradle me!

Although we did not yet buy from CarMax, we were very impressed with both their helpfulness and and their low-pressure. The salesman seemed more interested in getting us into the right vehicle than he did in making a sale, which was impressive.

If you think of the EcoSport as a cute but clumsy kid, the new Escape is a mature and capable adult. I guess you could call it affordable by 2021 standards though it costs more than any 5 (or possibly 10) of my past cars. My '21 was built toward the end of the '21 run and has the digital dash. All of the features of the 360 package work as described, and the infotainment features are easy to navigate. Some car settings are only accessible through the screen. Though the milage isn't outstanding, I've gotten 37mpg highway with the 2.0L turbo. It has plenty of power to get up to freeway speed. Passengers have been very comfortable and the handling is good at posted speeds. Adaptive cruise is great! HOWEVER, if you've never used it, be careful to turn it off before leaving the freeway. It will slow you down to match the traffic, but as soon as there's no one in front of you, it's going to send you back to the preset speed in a hurry...Not a fun thing on a sharp off-ramp curve. If you're looking, the interior details of the '21 are a little more refined than the '20. This is only my 3rd new car in 53 years of driving and it still amazes me how what passes for standard equipment today would have been Sci-Fi in my '68 Cougar.

I have received expert and reasonably priced auto service at Mccloskey for over 8 years. I recently had my 2003 Astro Van, which I did not buy there, serviced at their expert service dept. for a very fair price, much less than other quotes. In particular I would like to thank Adam who went out of his way to research the least expensive options and was a joy to deal with. Kudos.

Nice car,bought it in July 2021 had 24000 thousand miles.I am 77 years old always wanted a small suv.i have problems with it keep saying Low tire pressure i need to know why it keep on doing that i have to keep putting air in the tires.

I love the force escape it's the right size for me very economical I am pleased with it I'd like the 2017 model I don't care for the newer models of the 2022 but I would not get rid of my car at all I want to stay with it because it's been very reliable.

Bought a 2017 SE as second owner in 2020 with about 32k miles and put nearly 50k flawless miles on it until I recently sold it. Never had an issue with it, great gas mileage (26.0) for a small SUV that saw more city miles than highway. Only work it needed was rear brake pads at about 55k miles. One drawback to it was the comfort level on long trips- it was not designed well to spend more than a couple hours behind the wheel at a time.

The experience with the car salesman, Julio, was amazing. Julio took care of me and dedicated his time to helping me get the truck I wanted. I appreciate everything Julio did for me, and I recommend that other people speak with him about buying from the dealer. I also do not find it fair that car salesmen are judged entirely for other departments' mistakes, especially those that car salesmen have no control over. I would not judge a waiter for bad food; therefore, a scorecard should not judge a car salesman for finance mistakes. As a learned lesson, include your salesmen in your deal and go over the paperwork after you are done with these other areas they take you on the dealer. Their report card from the survey directly impacts the salesmen, and even if you get a bad experience in finance, they will blame it on the salesmen. Thanks for your help, Julio!

At 109,000 and still running great. Having the 100,00 mile recommended work done this week. This included replacing the timing belt which is recommended with milage between 100,000 and 150,000. Very happy with my Escape which I bought new. Hope it lasts another 100,000 miles with the cost of a new vehicle these days.

Arrived at the dealership just looking around for a car and instantly greeted by a nice young gentleman Mario. He was a really big help to me as he walked me around the dealership and showed me all of their cars. Mario allowed me to see the interior of each car that has caught my attention and that was something I liked about him and this dealership. He pulled up the car on the phone and showed me what every detail that went with it. It helped to see if there was any hidden damage and that’s another thing I liked about Mario. Bought the vehicle in December of 2020. First new car I've bought in over 20 years. Absolutely love this vehicle. Great gas mileage. 3 cylinder, turbo that has some is powerful. Great back up camera and love the big screen display for the radio. Easy to reach controls. Easy to reach cup holders. Plenty of room inside, don't feel cramped. Rides smooth for such an economical car.
