As good as it gets!

We found ourselves in the market for a second vehicle. My wife and I stopped in to "scope out" the available vehicles. We had hoped to avoid speaking with salespeople and getting the "high pressure sales pitch"...fortunately we were approached by Steve. We were honest, that we were just looking and had no intention to buy, as this was our first stop. Mr. Bowker told us that we should feel free to look around and that he would be happy to answer any questions. He was true to his word, he let us mill about and peruse the lot. When we had looked at the vehicles and felt that we had a good starting point, for our purchase, we stepped into the office (he honored our request to look and did not follow us) to say thanks and we would be in touch. Steve thanked us for stopping in and offered to answer any questions that may have arisen. My wife had a few quick finance questions, which were answered with ease and we left, without pressure or tension...business card, in hand. A few days passed and we had developed an affinity for a pre-owned Santa Fe that we had viewed. I made what was a surprisingly easy call, to Mr. Bowker, I told him that we were interested in one of his vehicles. To my surprise, we were able to verify credit, arrange financing and schedule an appointment for a visit to drive the vehicle. The call was easy, but, the visit was easier. When we arrived, the vehicle was fueled, detailed and warm...took it out for a long test drive, fell in love and were hooked. When we got back to the dealership, Steve had all of our paperwork ready and we were sent to visit with Chris Farley, for financing. Mr. Farley was as easy to work with as Mr. Bowker. We told Chris the numbers that we wanted and like magic...he made them happen. To our excitement we were even able to purchase an extended warranty through Ford (accepted in all 50 states, OEM parts and professional service technicians!!!). Our test drive, of about an hour, took longer than the phone calls and time spent in the sales and finance offices. This was a truly fluid, low pressure, highly proffesional buying experience. We bought what we wanted, not what they wanted us to buy. We were treated like family (the way family should be treated), with respect and kindness. My hat is off, to the fine folks at Glockner South Point Ford. We are more than pleased and will be working with this team, for many years to come.
