The experience was great from start to finish. They gave me a very fair price on my trade-in and made the car buying experience stress free. I ended up purchasing a factory certified low miles Ford Fusion which I am completely happy with. In addition to the great service James provided we spoke to the general manager Kelly. Speaking to Kelly I could tell that customer support is very important to him. I will definitely recommend Sonora Ford to anyone looking for a new vehicle.
We had been looking for a good deal on a truck when we were referred to Sonora Ford by our credit union. My husband struck a rock-bottom deal with Dave at Sonora Ford on the telephone, so we knew we had to waste no time. We didn't have time to work out the financing details before making the drive from Sacramento to Sonora, so we asked Dave and Jeff at the dealership if we could leave a deposit, and then return in a day or two with a check from the credit union to pick up the truck. The response we got was unbelievable! Jeff said, "Why don't you take the truck with you tonight and send us a check in a couple days?" It was like buying a car in Mayberry...just like it ought to be. These guys are the real deal, and they will treat you right. They are not pushy, and they won't sell you something you don't need. Honestly, the easiest truck-buying experience ever. It was painless! My wife and I stopped by Sonora Ford on Memorial Day weekend to look at a new truck. We walked on to the lot thinking we knew what we wanted in a truck. After showing us all of the trucks that fit list, our sales rep, Bill Curnow, showed us a couple of other options that he thought we might be more satisfied with. After considering all of the options, we decided on one Bills suggestions. Thanks to his knowledge, attitude, and professionalism we bought the best truck for us. After we chose our truck the rest of our experience at Sonora Ford was just as awesome. The finance process was straightforward and painless. Thanks to the fantastic staff at Sonora Ford, we had the best dealership experience we have ever had.
We would definitely purchase a vehicle from here again. We had been shopping around for a new car for months and this dealership had exactly what we wanted at a great price. They were not pushy but very accommodating. There was no pressure or back and forth with numbers; they were honest and thorough. Everyone that we dealt with gave us excellent customer service. It was well worth the drive.
Count me in as one of the many who dreaded the very notion of walking into an auto dealership, let alone doing business with one. I had many bad experiences, with many other dealerships, that kept me away. But Sonora Ford is different. From the salespeople to the service department, you never felt any pressure to make any sort of quick decision. They let me wander the lot, and sit in the vehicles. When I needed information, that's what I got, not a sales pitch. And when it finally came time to negotiate the purchase of our Certified Previously Owned Ford Flex, they were extremely fair and worked with us the whole way. Every part of the process felt genuine, and so different than what I had come to expect from a typical auto dealership. But that's the point - they are not typical. If you are in the market for a new or used Ford, I strongly recommend that you give them a chance to earn your business.
Purchased our 6th Ford on 8/31. Made contact thru the I-net with Jeff Bigelow who had Ty Johnson set up an appointment with us. We arrived at 2PM, Ty showed us the Escape and we drove it up the grade and really like it. Ty was good enough to let us try the Focus as a comparison and we were impressed with it's power and handling but preferring 4wd selected the Escape SE. Ty & Jeff went over the paperwork and got the deal rolling. Steve Gaulden handled the finance and we were out the door on our way home with our new Escape by 5PM. The process was smoothly handled and a pleasant experience. While our previous purchases were fairly good experiences (two Valley dealerships), we're glad we came to Sonora Ford.
