Mike was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We were looking for a F-150 supercab and they are not in high supply. He found the vehicle we were looking for and spent a lot of time with me. He was not overly aggressive, which I appreciated. The dealership had a very friendly feel to it, unlike the other Ford dealerships I visited. Huge inventory to choose from.

This Dealer is about 2.5 hours away from where we live. Initially we had an RV in the vicinity so we purchased one, and then a second, new car from them. Now we go there because the service department is worth taking a day trip.
We bought 2 used cars just a few weeks apart (one for me, one for my son), and the experiences at the 2 different dealerships could not have been more different. We will come back to Rod Baker Ford again and highly recommend this dealership. We worked with Ryan in sales and Steve in finance. Both were very personable, answered questions, and explained everything very thoroughly. We never felt pushed, and we sincerely appreciate how careful Steve was when explaining every aspect of the financing, especially because at the other shifty dealership , that other finance person tried to cheat us in multiple ways so we had to triple check the math and have inflated charges removed. The interest rate we were given at Rod Baker Ford was 4 points lower than what the other dealership gave us, coming from the same lender and using the same credit score and a similar car price. Car buying can be a very stressful situation since it is such a huge purchase, and you really want to buy from people who are trustworthy. The staff at Rod Baker Ford are good people -- it's worth it to check them out even if it is a drive!
Can’t say enough what a great experience we had shopping at Crouse Ford Taneytown, MD and purchasing our King Ranch truck . Lewis Drake was the perfect salesman and had the entire deal done in no time at all. Not pushy, listened to what we were looking for , didn’t push other vehicles on us and had one waiting and warmed up to climb into! From my initial phone call speaking to Mr. Brown to the end of the night working with Debbie and getting the 0% financing I could not have wished for a better experience. (1) Wonderfully Communicative - Jason Lehner, the delearship manager, was amazing. Since we know little about cars but wanted to venture into truck ownership, we turned to a relative who is 1000s of miles away for help. This didn’t phase Jason at all. He answered every text, email and call with care and worked effortlessly with someone he never met in person. My relative is a bit of a hard cookie to crack so we were all impressed at how Jason was able to navigate the rapid fire questions and concerns.
(2) Stellar Price - We did approach other dealers but Waterford Ford simply offered the best price for our custom order. We feel like we walked away with an fantastic price for a brand new 2018 custom Lariat order.
(3) Straight Shooter - Jason never tried to sell us something for the sake of selling. We didn’t feel overwhelmed with the options or that we were making a mistake by not buying an additional feature. He was polite, listened and ensured we were comfortable with the order BUT we never felt pressured to take on more.
The best part was when we finally went in the sign papers! Michael O'Brien, the manager emeritus, saw that I had kids in tow and offered to have the car sent to our home since we couldn’t bring it back on the same day. It made my life so much easier! Seriously. That small gesture made my year. And now I have a gorgeous new ride.
