I purchased a nice clean Nissan Altima from these guys a few months ago. They were able to get me a great approval for financing and even an extended warranty that will cover me for quite some time. I'll definitely be back when it's time for my next car.

This car is the best however, the parts, and up-keep, are rather expensive. If you take care of this Car it will and does take care of you.

A great family business that I highly recommend

I traveled from Virginia to buy a 2001 Jaguar from Capital City Auto in Feb 2017. Joe did a great job of describing the vehicle and answering my questions by phone and email. When I asked to confirm if it had heated seats he did not merely guess but said "hold on - I'll go check." When I got there, Mike helped me with looking over the vehicle and a test drive. There were no surprises. The car was just as they had described it and I was home waxing it by 5pm. It's hard to find good deals on luxury cars in Southwest Virginia, but I would gladly return to Capital City Auto again. Thanks!

Mike Hitch is a great salesman. He's very professional, yet very friendly. He took a lot of time to explain everything about the vehicle to me and to make sure I understood everything. I've called him since I've had the Encore and he's always taken the time to answer my questions. I will recommend him to everyone I hear that's looking to buy a new car... I've been buying my vehicles from Dunn's for over 25 years and would NOT shop anywhere else...

I love the car, it has minor problems. Talking to the dealer about getting that fix. But overall it's still a nice car. Drives nice, looks nice, I have the lady's out there calling me handsome. Had to place my girl panties in the rearview so they won't think it's my mama car.

Just bought a 2005 Subaru Outback from Stan and the S & J team. The whole experience, from start to finish, was a breeze. Stan helped us get the car financed, found us an amazing insurance policy, and even came in on his day off to meet us (we are from MA). All in all, an amazing experience. Love my new car, and will absolutely come back.

Very good but minor flaws

I bought this 2006 Ford five hundred in 2009 15,000 miles on it with 80,000 mile warranty . 6 disk CD player junk jammed and ruined all the CD I had in it within the 1st year replaced it with a blue tooth with built in amp which made my speakers work better . It goes through brakes n tires fast the a/c went out after 3 year s. The door holds water heater which in 2018 has rusted a spot out I seen alot of five hundred with same rust spot. That was the bad . The good I only have changed the oil in the car every 5000 miles and at 151,000 besides A alternator and a few batteries and brakes and tires I never changed A belt plug or anything else. Super comfortable little road noise. Transmission is ok I don't like it's sealed I never flushed it and at this point I won't at 30,000 they wanted almost 300,00$ to flush it the upper motor mount is junk. Comfortable ride but needed a 5.0 liter instead of 3.0 overall repairs I give it 4stars comfort 5 and gas mileage 3in a half

customer service with the dealership

My husband and I had researched in depth the 2016 Ford Edge. We had decided to visit two or three dealerships that had cars that fit our requirements. One was Taylor Ford. In summary the buying experience was a pleasure. We first met Mr. Gordon Prince, the sales manager. He greeted us with a smile and relaxed disposition. I had called him earlier and told him that we wanted a knowledgeable salesman. Upon arriving he introduced us to Mr. Sean Cash. Mr. Cash showed us the car we were interested in purchasing. He answered a myriad of questions. You intuitively felt his sincerity. Mr. Cash and Mr. Prince worked hard to put together the purchase of a car that met our needs and at a very competitive price. They went the extra mile. When we picked up the car Mr. Cash spent a great deal of time reviewing the technical features which can be overwhelming. He was kind, patient, and presented the information in a simple and understandable manner. This was greatly appreciated. We have bought many cars over our lifetime. Taylor Ford was one of the best experiences. You felt like you were dealing with friends. The customer service was outstanding. Mr. Cash encouraged us several times to call him with any questions. We will certainly recommend Mr. Prince and Mr. Cash to our friends and family. We have been married 51 years and are both retired professionals.

Easiest Buying Experience I've Ever Had
by Alan from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018

I was in the market for a brand new Tacoma. After a ton of research, I knew exactly what I wanted and, thanks to KBB, what price range people were paying for them in my area. I went to the 'other' Toyota dealer in Louisville as they were closer to my house and also had the model/options I wanted. All in all this should have been the easiest sale they ever made as I have excellent credit, owe a good bit less on my nice trade than the KBB trade in value, had a large down payment, and knew exactly what I wanted. Things started to go down hill when they offered me close to 50% of the KBB trade value on my current car. Which mind you it was a very clean 2013 with low miles and was fully loaded. They weren???t willing to budge on that at all so I told them no biggie I would just keep the trade and sell it myself. So we moved onto the price of the Tacoma. He showed me the MSRP price and then they???re ???sale price??? which was only a few hundred less than the MSRP. I politely asked if they could work on the price at all. The salesman, who was really nice in the beginning, got very defensive. He proceeded to lecture me about how well Toyotas hold their value and what great trucks they are. I told him I agreed with him 100% and that was why I wanted to buy one. However I???m not willing to pay full blown MSRP for it because 1, KBB tells you the price range they???re selling for in our local area and 2, no one pays full blown MSRP. After being there for 4 hours, I had to twist the salesman's arm to give me the keys back to my car so that I could leave. The GM ran over and asked why I changed my mind. I told him I would not be paying MSRP and would be going somewhere else. He asked what I was willing to pay and then said they would gladly come down to that as it was a fair price. I told him after being there for so long and being insulted by his salesman that I refused to give them my business. I called Toyota of Louisville the next day, as they had the same exact model/options, and spoke with Ashley. At first I was nervous that I was going to have the same experience here but from the moment I met Ashley she made me feel welcome and assured me I was going to leave extremely happy. Tim and herself were fantastic to deal with. Within 10 minutes of being there they gave me $1500 OVER the KBB trade value of my trade in AND crushed the other dealer's price on the new truck! I actually got it for even less than the price I was trying to get the other dealer to come down to! In less than an hour, I was driving home with my brand new Tacoma. So if you???re looking to get ripped off on your trade, pay full blown MSRP on the new car, and spend all day there only to be insulted by the salesmen go to the other dealer in Louisville. On the other hand if you value your time and want a great deal as well as a more than fair offer for your trade, go to Toyota of Louisville. It was well worth the short drive and, thanks to Ashley and Tim, they have made a lifetime customer!

Bought this for my Daughter

Very neat car, cavernous interior, but not too big to drive. Love the handling, does what you want it to do, Has AWD so a little slow at the first acceleration, but No problem passing at HWY speeds. Rides so smooth, like a car that cost way more! very handy controls that you don't have to fumble for. Roomy trunk.. Ford was onto something with these! Just had all breaks replaced, and a electric issue with wires at censors near computer. I feel safe with my daughter driving this, and even she thinks it's cool.

I purchased the Ford Five Hundred in 2013 and have had it ever since. It is a very reliable car and have not had any major problems with it. I love the cabin space, leather heated seats, and the sun roof. It is a very comfortable ride with user friendly features. I would definitely recommend this vehicle to anyone who likes a lot of space.

Great car with great safety rating

This car has plenty of room in both the front and back seat. The trunk is also large which is great for long trips. I love that the rear view mirror dims the bright lights that can be blinding when a car comes behind in the dark with their bright lights on. I also like having the extra compartments for storage. Mostly I like that it runs great, is comfortable, and dependable.

Best I've Owned
June 20, 2018

This is by far the best car I've ever owned. While the exterior styling is on the lackluster side, I still find it somewhat attractive in a subtle, classy way. The leather interior is probably what sold me on this one, I've seen others without and they feel sub-par. Never-the-less, I've owned this car for almost 10 years and the only issue I had was the radio started to fail. It sometimes felt slow on the acceleration, but I didn't mind too much. Definitely couldn't have had a better car on my road trip to TN from IL. Always comfortable, and way more room than you'd think. I've fit an 11 ft ladder inside and closed the trunk! Probably my only other complaint would be the wide turn radius, but it's to be expected from this size of a car. Couldn't recommend it higher.

I have already bought two vehicles from them and am planning to purchase my third. Each time, the experience had been nothing but top notch. Both vehicles were delivered to me from our of town and the salesman was ultra-responsive via email, text, and phone. Each time, I knew what the cost of the vehicle would be out the door before ever stepping into the dealership. Never wasted one second in the "let me talk to my manager" game. This is the way car buying should be!

Great service representatives!

I was waiting on another service rep with whom I made the appointment. He was busy with another customer. I mention to an employee that I was really in a hurry to be on time for my hair appointment at 1 pm & that unexpected traffic in Dallas (unexpected traffic in Dallas...my bad) put me behind my schedule. Soon Jim came over to take care if me instead. I so appreciated that! He took my info, got my car in the "que" & when I told him about about possibly being late to my next appointment- took the time to walk with me to see if the driver for the courtesy ride was ready & available. The driver was & I took advantage of that ride. I arrived at my appointment only 2 minutes late! That was great! Then when I received a follow up call, today, about how my service went- I shared that I inadvertently left my receipt at the cashier's office. While I was on the phone with Jim, he emailed me a copy right there and then! That is service I will return for! Roy Coleman has taken excellent customer care of us through the years & when I neglected to ask for him yesterday while making my reservation, it is GREAT to know that there are other great reps to take care of my needs. Good job, Jim! Thank you for the team at North Central Ford!

Yeah, it's a plain jane boring looking car, but this baby is comfy on long road trips. Huge backseat, largest trunk in any modern day car, lots of cup holders. My biggest gripe is the vents should be bigger to move more air, especially in the back seat, and the transmission is fine but you are unable to downshift going down a steep grade. But this is the ultimate road trip car.

Everyone should buy a car from Patrick Collins
by Paul Bliss from DealerRater.com
November 6, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.3 (1637 reviews)
I've had my 1st car, a second hand 95 Buick Lesabre for about 5 years, and the whole time I had it I have admired Mazda vehicles from a distance. One minor fender bender was enough to total my car and get me searching for its replacement. To that end, I encountered Patrick Collins when I entered Sill-Terhar Motors, Mazda Dealership. I came in with specific Mazda 6 to try out. We quickly took it out for a test drive, and after driving it I had a couple concerns about that car. Patrick suggested few others vehicles they had on the lot to try out; a low mileage 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback, and a pair of 2016 Mazda 6's with around 40,000 miles on the clock. I found that the Mazda 3 (while great value) wasn't for me. The 2016 Mazda 6, on the other hand, was very nice, but I had some concerns about the reliability of Mazda vehicles. I have only ever had GM products in the past, and I am just unfamiliar with common problems for Mazdas. To address my concerns Patrick took me to speak with a member of the service department who did establish, to my satisfaction, that current generation of Mazda 6's did not suffer from any particular pattern of mechanical failures (which is what my online research had suggested). This left me with two concerns about the specific 2016 Mazda 6 I looked at (and liked the best out of the cars I drove). First, it was an ex-rental car, and secondly, the car sounded a little rough at idle on initial startup. While it is common for the Mazda 6s to idle at a higher RPM on startup to warm the combustion chamber/catalytic converter (which is stated in the owners manual), I thought that the car sounded off. Almost like the ignition timing was slightly out of adjustment (which is impossible since its computer controlled). In the end, that "rough" idle was probably within the spectrum of what is considered normal for these cars. However, the "rough" idle, combined with its history as a rental car caused me to pass on that car. At the end of that day, while I didn't buy a car from Patrick (because of my concerns with that specific car), I think everyone should. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, very patient, and he is the lowest pressure salesmen I've ever met (seriously, I could easily have forgotten I was car shopping). He is a genuinely nice person, and should I need to buy a car in the future he would be my first call.

Interior is laid out well for short people and quite comfortable. Gas mileage has always been good. Trunk space is large. Power is good for a 6 cylinder car.

We brought our 2011 Acadia Denali into Moore GMC to repair some minor body dings and dents. The service was completed quickly and the result was very high quality. A detailed explanation of the work required was provided; very professional. Thank you.

I'm 48 and best car I've owned

I bought my 2007 Ford 500 Limited FWD in Dec 2016. It had 182K miles on it, but the outside looked great, and the inside was like new. Didn't want to pay $3500 considering the miles, but I was in a jam and I knew it had been taken care of. 2 Years later, and I now have over 218K miles on it, and not a single thing has broken. Not one. The only thing I did was replace the front break rotors because I was getting some vibration on breaking, but it wasn't bad and that is really just normal wear and tear. The only other times it's been to the mechanic has been for oil changes. And because I use synthetic oil I got anywhere from 6,000 - 8,000 between oil changes, and I still haven't had to add a drop of oil. Even with all the miles on it, it doesn't use or burn any oil. Note - the AWD version has an early CVT that had issues. From what I've seen, all the complaints are about that. I have the FWD, and although the downshifts are a bit clunking sometimes, they have been that way since I bought the car and have not gotten any worse at all. My mechanic (a Ford guy) says they are known to make some noise when downshifting sometimes, but that it isn't a sign anything is wrong, and the FWD transmissions do last a long time. Also, I drive probably 80 highway, 20 city, and I get 25-27 mpg. And with a 20 gallon tank, you can drive a legit 500 miles + on a full tank. When (and IF) this car ever dies, I'll buy another, or a 08-09 Taurus, which is essentially the same car but with a more powerful motor and smoother transmission. They also get amazing reviews.
