I cam here to look for a car during tax time. Not only was the inventory amazing, but the quality and cleanliness of the cars was incredible. I'd recommend anyone to come here and buy a car.

Well , I found them looking for what I needed online .Having a small business the time came at a bad time, but I needed a dependable work truck. Don't get me wrong I have loved my f-350 for the past 13 years. The problem is I had bought my wife a car last year ,( She does Not Work ) . I had co-signed with my daughter to buy her first car etc. Need I say more , FORD turned me down for the Finance deal trade! With just a ("GOOD" credit score), BUT Harold went to work and found a local bank that looked at my record and new I would be good for the loan.Thank you both JB & Harold for making a needed purchase happen. I will never go any where else in the Richmond Va. Radius of 50 miles or more, and if I were you I would get over to Parrish Ford in Goochland , just a few minutes from 288 .

This car is very helpful at driving to work. it is easy to drive, good on gas, easy to take care, and fixing. I like its performance.
We were looking for a first car for my teenage daughter. We found AA Motors online and were impressed with the selection of used cars, free Carfax, and detailed and accurate descriptions of each car. My daughter selected a 2007 Nissan Sentra. It is great mechanically and the interior and exterior were in pristine condition. Andy was a delight to work with! He presented all information about the car, answered all our questions, provided additional insight into the mechanics of the car and was happy to be able to offer such a well maintained car to us. My daughter has owned her car for over a month now and continues to be very pleased with it's performance as well as it's excellent condition. We highly recommend AA Motors! Thank you Andy for making our car buying experience such a great one!

Sporty, economical, comfortable, and FUN to drive!

I love this car. I have the Titanium hatchback and it is super sporty and fun to drive. The interior is comfortable and everything is perfectly located for the driver's convenience. The push-button start and keyless entry mean no more fumbling for keys -- just leave them in a pocket or purse and go. Sony stereo sounds excellent with a subwoofer in the trunk. You can't go wrong with this model.
CarMax quoted me $6,000 for my 2013 Kia with 100K miles. Matt and his team at CarLotz sold it within 6 weeks and I made $2,000 more going through CarLotz. The process takes a bit more time than insta-cash through CarMax but the patience pays off. I trust CarLotz and would recommend to anyone selling their automobile to go through CarLotz first.

This car is a very reliable car, with good acceleration and good brakes. It includes cruise control and a backup camera. It is very cheap for its quality.
I've been doing business with the good folks at Mike's for the past 14 years. My first purchase was shortly after I moved to VA, all the way from CA. I didn't know much about car sales, and since I didn't have my dad or brothers to shop with me, I was a bit nervous. I visited (and left) a number of lots, who I'm sure could tell - or thought they could take advantage of that nervousness. Then I went to Mike's. They were patient as I looked at several cars and asked a million questions (sorry guys), and were also extremely helpful. I drove off the lot, hassle free, with a car I loved and drove for years. I've bought several others from there as well and have recommended this business to my friends. Aside from purchasing, I get all of my vehicles serviced here by their wonderful mechanic. If honesty, quality workmanship, & hassle free transactions are what you look for in a car dealer/shop, Mike's is where you should be. Thanks for the excellent service throughout the years guys!

I bought a 2014 with 47.ooo and had it 2 weeks and the double clutch went out and now the Ford dealer has it, I hope they fix it and it will last
This car has been awesome for me...great travel car that has handled mountain driving, light snow, mud and heavy rain all extremely well. The seats lay flat so storage is ample and access easy with a hatch. Very sporty looking too! My shepherd Romeo also approves!

In March, 2016 I bought a 2012 BMW Z4 s35i roadster I saw on the web site for this dealership. They were easy to deal with, and we did the paperwork for the sale via email and courier service. The shipping fee was minimal ($300) when compared to $700+ I paid for a BMW Z3 shipment from California last year. The shipping trip from Virginia to my city, Bremerton, WA took 5 days. The car was in excellent condition and is a hoot/pleasure to drive...great car! I want go give kudos to the sales agent I dealt with who goes by "RC" (I don't know what the 'R' stands for, but his email tells me his last name is Cassady). RC was very helpful and responsive, especially when it came to compensation for a damaged cover for the car's navigation display. The cover swivels open and shut to reveal or conceal the display

Magnificent car all around but worst transmission.

We bought a brand new and amazingly good looking inside and out 2014 Focus Titanium.
The car was for my wife. She drove test the car. She fell in love and we took it. BIG MISTAKE! I drove it for the first time one week later and realize immediately what a defective dual transmission this car possesses. I think, the best way to describe it is like “having a teenager learning how to drive a standard shift transmission car for the first time”. When you start driving slowly from any stop, the car shakes in a jerky motion six or eight times before shifting. Every speed shift you can “VIOLENTLY” feel it, and occasionally a loud clank can be heard out of nowhere. All of this happens in Auto or Manual mode. In slow or fast speed. Don’t try to pass another vehicle because when you try, the transmission will shift 3 to 4 seconds after you press the accelerator.
Three weeks after we acquired it, I took it to the Ford dealer. The technician drove it. The Service Manager drove it, and they both agreed that this transmission is a royal piece of $#!+, BUT, they can’t do anything about it because Ford Motors Co. says IT IS A NORMAL BEHAVIOR IN THIS CAR. They printed what Ford says and gave it to me. In it, acknowledges everything I mentioned but arguing that is perfectly normal. Normal in a car that just came out of the oven? That is BS! We tried to return the darn vehicle and the depreciation in five weeks made it impossible to afford.
Now we’re stock with this beautiful car, which, other than the transmission, it is amazing.
Sad to see how FMC mocks his customers, and don’t take responsibility. In 2017 we bought our 11th new car. A Chevrolet Malibu LT with dual transmission. Boy! What a difference. One of the best cars we have owned. Imagine that the transmission doesn’t exist. You can’t feel the car shifting at any speed. No more Ford for us.
I live several hours from Richmond BMW. From the second I contacted this dealership online to check out convertibles, I was treated with the utmost care and concern. Nick McNevin contacted me at 10pm, and even called to answer any questions. Found me the car of my dreams and moved heaven and earth make it happen for me. The entire process was seamless and painless. Nick constantly communicated with me, answered every question immediately. Though the manager would not approving holding my used car choice a couple of days (even though I offered a $10,000 promissory note), the deal otherwise went off without a hitch. This place is first class; a lot of dealerships could learn from them. The test drive was incredibly informative and everyone was kind and considerate. Never any pressure or feeling that my questions were stupid like I've experienced at other dealerships. Nick knows his cars, and that made a huge impact on me. I've owned Toyotas all my life. Done with that. I'm a BMW loyalist now, and it all started with Nick and the folk at this dealership who made what could be a stressful, horrible experience into one that makes you walk away feeling like a million bucks (well, minus what you paid for the car!) Example: just as we were leaving I said I needed to figure out how to program the navigation back to the 2 hour drive to my house. Nick said, "No worries. I already programmed it for you while you were finishing the paperwork." How cool is that !?

The most unique transmission i have ever driven.
by Focus Owner from Martinsburg WV

First off I would just like to say for all of the people complaining about the auto 6spd, this transmission is very unique. Its actually a manual transmission, It has a dry clutch pack and no torque converter. The shifting of the gears and clutch are just automated. I have seen so many complaints about it being shaky taking off from a dead stop but Ford says it's normal. You have to drive this car like a manuel, taking off from a dead stop you cannot baby the throttle. You have to blip the gas and roll into it just like you would in a normal manuel car. Again since it's a automated manuel when you are slowing down it uses engine breaking very effectively I may add. Breaking last seconded the computer disengages clutch so it's in neutral at thw mercy of the breaks. This transmission has adaptive learning so it watches your driving habits. When you baby the throttle consistantly from a dig so many times the computer learns that behavior and that's why the jerkiness happens. You cannot baby this car, for at "automatic" trans it sure is rev happy. My gf will drive it for awhile and it will start doing that bc she babys it. When I get into it I'm trying to drive it how I know it wants driven but its confused bc it knows my gf's driving habits. You can make it learn new habits driving it for awhile it will re-adapt back to you OR from a 10mph roll you pin the pedal to the floor till it hits 100. Everytime I do it the car is so much more peppy afterwards, throttle is more responsive, doesnt shift till abt 4500 instead of 2500, just feels more torquey and it stops the jerkiness it has learned from someone else. This car is a blast to drive once I researched how it likes to be driven, i must say its definitely a one of a kind driving experience. Because of the sophistication of the "automated manuel" transmission, when you buy this car they REALLY REALLY should educated people on how exactly this transmission works!!
This was my first experience using CarLotz. Used them to sell 2 vehicles; one outright sale and the other on consignment. I could not have been more please with the excellence of service and the outcomes on both vehicle transactions. Additionally, the staff were professional and competent in their trade.
I highly recommend CarLotz to potential sellers and buyers of used vehicles.

Sporty and safe... even my kids think it's cool! I'm very happy with my new car. I am glad I got a car that was leased for only 3 years. Great value, low mileage and such a great overall value!
I checked out their inventory online and called to confirm if the vehicle was still available. When it was I drove down, test drove the car, and was in and out with my new vehicle in under an hour!! The entire crew, Ron, Marie, and Chris were outstanding to work with. I even got a warranty. Kind of hard to come by with used vehicles these days. Go by and see them if you are in the market for a good used car!

I have owned a handful of well used cars and one truck so this is the newest car I have owned. Just bought this car 2 days ago and my girlfriend and I love it. Pretty powerful, amazing gas milage, sound system even in the SE package is amazing. Pretty comfortable to and from work. Small but roomy. Plenty of storage, and I love Fords new chime when the door opens.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

The price was great and the car exceeds my expectations... We were in severe need of a newer, more reliable, vehicle and the car fit the bill perfectly...
I have owned 2 2015 Ford Focus SE's due to it being the only year you can get the sport package sedan. I wanted a car I could take on road trips and as a daily driver. I honestly love the car or wouldn't have purchased a second one after I totaled the first. I only have the 1 complaint and we all know what it is, the transmission. My first one was perfect but this one I just purchased has the issue. Its honestly not a big deal to me, warranty is extended to 150k miles and my dealer gave me a rental to drive when being fixed. Other than this, I recommend the car to anyone. Constantly get 36-40 mpg highway and love the looks. Sporty with good gas mileage. If the transmission is a big deal, then stay away but if you buy certified used with low mileage then you have zero worries. All cars have issues, just be lucky the warranty is extended!

8:30 appt for oil change. Called at 9:17 with 4 recommendations, selected 2 of them, was told it should take 1 hr 15 mins. No one answered phone at 10:45 when we called, called back a while later, no answer, went back to dealership to check if ready, car had not been serviced yet, was taken in at 11:30. We came back home & was called at 12:40 that car was ready. Not a big deal but we were expecting guests at our house for dinner at 4:00, thought an 8:30 appt would give us enuf time, & we had other things to do, very stressful.

At 61 years of age, after always having bought brand-new cars, I decided to purchase a used car. I did a lot of researching and shopping, and I bought a 2014 Ford Focus SE. It turned out to be the best deal I have ever made. The car is fun to drive, very economical (34/37 MPG), and, best of all, very reliable. I truly recommend.
