When I took my ranger in for repairs everyone there from Bill at the service desk to Glenn the service tech talked with me about what they would do to analyze the problem . Kept me informed about progress and needed repairs. would go back there again
I was in to address a carbon monoxide recall issue, so I'm not sure about the quality of the repair yet. I really was appreciative of the shuttle service since I had to leave my vehicle. Also appreciated the service manager's help.
Took almost 2 weeks for what was to be a 3 day service recall repair. At business day 6, I asked for a rental at NC and was denied. I have used this facility numerous times and was getting ticked off at this point. I asked for a price on a timing belt, since my car has 130,000 mi. was told $950+tax, and the engine was already torn down. I think gouging me, since I had no $ in recall repair. I said no. During repair someone dropped something in engine and didn't realize it, cranked car and now I get a new engine. So, that worked out for me but not without angst, worry, no car for 8 days. (I got a rental at NC at that point.) I put NA on repairs because I am getting my car back later and am hoping to God that the new engine will not give me any issues. I realize "sh" happens, but my main issue was with the lack of customer service prior to the engine "makeover". They got real nice after the fact. My husband and I have bought 3 cars here, but do not plan on buying any more at this dealership.
Had oil changed, tire rotated and multi-point inspection done. Service center indicated that my brakes need some work. Service rep was keep me informed of progress and any issues. Overall service I am please with it. what keep me from giving a five stars brake pads they had in stock where not the morpar but another brand. Not bad but not as good as the morpar.
I had a very pleasant experience shopping with Homer Skelton. This was my first purchase, and from the time called to check the availability of a vehicle to completion of the purchase, everyone there was wonderful to deal with. This was by far the best car buying experience I've ever had.
