I've been a life-time Honda driver and owner. It was time to let my high-mileage Pilot go as our family grew and it started to cost more to maintain (I loved that car). I opened my search for a replacement from Honda to Subaru based on the many great things I've heard via friends and family - both new and long-time Subaru owners. I began my search online, searching all dealers near me, looking at their in-stock Outbacks and Foresters. Since all had decent stock of what I was hoping would make it into our price range, I decided to narrow it down to Matt Slap, the closest Subaru dealer to us. I first contacted them to setup a test drive using the pop-up on their website. I was called by Mary T to ask when I could come in. She was pleasant, but unfortunately I was at work and couldn't talk long. A day later I again went to the website and setup an appointment for a test drive, easy thing to do. I was greeted by Greg Winter at the door. Friendly right off the bat and ready to help. We cut to the chase and got out on the lot to take a look. It wasn't long before I was behind the wheel of a Outback Premium. We talked about the car as I drove, of course and, moreover, OTHER makes. He knows his cars and the details! Much more than I could ever care to know or take time to. My point is that it made me feel like he wasn't just going to keep directing me as to why Subaru was great but what else is out there is today's world of cars. Again, something I don't think about much, until ready to purchase a new one. We took a Forester Premium out next. Another pleasant ride and more "car talk". When we returned we looked at other trims of Forester and talked over what I'd look for in price, along with what else they might have in stock. Not long after we were off to their lot on 273, to compare even more. A Forester caught my eye and so we headed back to the dealer to talk more and see what they could do for me. The summation of the rest of the visit: -They looked at my Pilot and gave me a very fair value on it (it being a Honda DID have an impact on whether they would entertain taking it or not) - They gave me a better price on the Forester I wanted after the initial monthly payment wouldn't work for our budget - Greg remained professional and comfortable to talk to and work with throughout the process after I accepted their offer - Larry came by to check on things and ask what I thought, but beyond that had little interaction with him (a nice guy for sure though!) - Finance with Michael went smoothly and was easy for me to understand my additional options. I didn't feel pressured at any point. He's good at his job and, like Greg and Larry, professional, yet comfortable - The last person to help me out was Amanda, who oriented me to me new car and help me clean out my Pilot (YES, I took home my Forester that same day I went in to "just look"!). She was able to answer every question I had and was personable and pleasant. It was a LONG day, having shown up around 9:00AM and left around 1:45. I never felt pressured to buy that day. I was even asked if I would take it home that day if I could and I said that I would consider it. Sure, I was excited to get a new car and maybe anxious and impatient, however I felt good about it driving home, ready to show it off to the family. I'll have a follow-up appointment in the next few weeks. All in all a great experience at Matt Slap!

This car has been awesome for me...great travel car that has handled mountain driving, light snow, mud and heavy rain all extremely well. The seats lay flat so storage is ample and access easy with a hatch. Very sporty looking too! My shepherd Romeo also approves!

I have been looking for a truck everywhere and I have yet to step foot on this dealerships property, but after a friend of mine checked out a truck I tried to make arrangements to buy it. The people here are busting their tails to help me. I do realize that they are in business to make money, but they took the time to answer my questions and work within my budget. My problem is a older vehicle with a lot of miles and my credit history being so short. Everything is out front. No behind your back tactics that many salesman/women do. I stopped looking elsewhere.

The most unique transmission i have ever driven.

First off I would just like to say for all of the people complaining about the auto 6spd, this transmission is very unique. Its actually a manual transmission, It has a dry clutch pack and no torque converter. The shifting of the gears and clutch are just automated. I have seen so many complaints about it being shaky taking off from a dead stop but Ford says it's normal. You have to drive this car like a manuel, taking off from a dead stop you cannot baby the throttle. You have to blip the gas and roll into it just like you would in a normal manuel car. Again since it's a automated manuel when you are slowing down it uses engine breaking very effectively I may add. Breaking last seconded the computer disengages clutch so it's in neutral at thw mercy of the breaks. This transmission has adaptive learning so it watches your driving habits. When you baby the throttle consistantly from a dig so many times the computer learns that behavior and that's why the jerkiness happens. You cannot baby this car, for at "automatic" trans it sure is rev happy. My gf will drive it for awhile and it will start doing that bc she babys it. When I get into it I'm trying to drive it how I know it wants driven but its confused bc it knows my gf's driving habits. You can make it learn new habits driving it for awhile it will re-adapt back to you OR from a 10mph roll you pin the pedal to the floor till it hits 100. Everytime I do it the car is so much more peppy afterwards, throttle is more responsive, doesnt shift till abt 4500 instead of 2500, just feels more torquey and it stops the jerkiness it has learned from someone else. This car is a blast to drive once I researched how it likes to be driven, i must say its definitely a one of a kind driving experience. Because of the sophistication of the "automated manuel" transmission, when you buy this car they REALLY REALLY should educated people on how exactly this transmission works!!

We leased a fully loaded 2016 Ford Fusion from Robin Ford. We dealt with John Martin (the salesman) and Jim (the finance manager). They were pleasant, friendly and accommodating! They answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns, without hesitation. For us, customer service usually trumps getting "the best deal". We not only got exceptional customer service from these gentlemen, but we also managed to get a good deal, fitting nicely into our monthly budget. We test drove the vehicle one day (with all features being explained to us by John) and returned a couple days later (after test driving other vehicles) to complete the paper work (prepared and explained by Jim) in less than an hour. This was a positive experience all around! We highly recommend Robin Ford and John/Jim!

We bought a brand new and amazingly good looking inside and out 2014 Focus Titanium. The car was for my wife. She drove test the car. She fell in love and we took it. BIG MISTAKE! I drove it for the first time one week later and realize immediately what a defective dual transmission this car possesses. I think, the best way to describe it is like “having a teenager learning how to drive a standard shift transmission car for the first time”. When you start driving slowly from any stop, the car shakes in a jerky motion six or eight times before shifting. Every speed shift you can “VIOLENTLY” feel it, and occasionally a loud clank can be heard out of nowhere. All of this happens in Auto or Manual mode. In slow or fast speed. Don’t try to pass another vehicle because when you try, the transmission will shift 3 to 4 seconds after you press the accelerator. Three weeks after we acquired it, I took it to the Ford dealer. The technician drove it. The Service Manager drove it, and they both agreed that this transmission is a royal piece of $#!+, BUT, they can’t do anything about it because Ford Motors Co. says IT IS A NORMAL BEHAVIOR IN THIS CAR. They printed what Ford says and gave it to me. In it, acknowledges everything I mentioned but arguing that is perfectly normal. Normal in a car that just came out of the oven? That is BS! We tried to return the darn vehicle and the depreciation in five weeks made it impossible to afford. Now we’re stock with this beautiful car, which, other than the transmission, it is amazing. Sad to see how FMC mocks his customers, and don’t take responsibility. In 2017 we bought our 11th new car. A Chevrolet Malibu LT with dual transmission. Boy! What a difference. One of the best cars we have owned. Imagine that the transmission doesn’t exist. You can’t feel the car shifting at any speed. No more Ford for us.

The car was designed on a Euro model so to speak, Seems very continental, great engine, ok gas mileage, comfortable and seems to be more expensive than it is. Only "repair" issue was water pump covered by warranty, Definitely the manual was the way to go, easy to shift and fun driving, but my alternative reason was that everyone seemed to be complaining about the dual clutch auto which had issues of reliability but also drivers unaware of how to actually drive a dual clutch car. The main complaint is the fairly large number of recalls, the latest is for a faulty computer reading of the gas pressure valve which can leave it stuck and collapse the gas tank and even make the car inoperable, Still waiting for a letter when I can get it fixed. Never had a car failure due to a recall issue, but a pain in the derriere to have to take it in for them. Overall, got the car new for 11K so a good deal in the end for me. Once the bugs are handled, if you buy the manual you'll get a pretty fun cheap ride that serves most purposes,

I love this car. I have the Titanium hatchback and it is super sporty and fun to drive. The interior is comfortable and everything is perfectly located for the driver's convenience. The push-button start and keyless entry mean no more fumbling for keys -- just leave them in a pocket or purse and go. Sony stereo sounds excellent with a subwoofer in the trunk. You can't go wrong with this model.

I leased a 2014 Ford Focus from Pacifico Ford back in 2015. I had every intention of purchasing my car at the end of my lease (and had driven about a 100 miles over the lease as a result of this intention). However, when I went to the dealership to schedule my lease end inspection I got hit with the I-Need-A-New-Car-itus. Initially, I went to the GM dealership down the road to look at the Chevy Traxx. While it was a very nice car, the lease payment within my budget was for a very stripped down model. I then went back to Pacifico and encountered the same unpalatable numbers when looking at the Ford Escape. Neal then asked me, "So, you wanted to keep your Focus because you liked your Focus, yea?" I said, "Yes, but I don't like the subsequent redesign of the Focus." Neal said, "Come on, let me show you." Despite the fact that it was early January 2018, and like 9 degrees and windy, I let Neal drag me outside to look at the new Focuses. As we walked down the isle, I was generally unimpressed. (Note: I still prefer the grill on the Focus from the 2014 model year). But Neal knew what to show me. He showed the SEL Hatchback in magnetic. I figured okay, fine, this was a nice version of the Focus, definitely nicer than my 12014 model, but I also figured it was still out of my desired price range. We went back inside and I told him, "Let's not dance. Show me you the best you can give me on this car." He went back and spoke with Stan, the sales manager, and got me the same number I would have paid for the base model Traxx. After a short deliberation, I decided to lease the Focus. Neal, Stan, and the rest of the dealership were incredibly pleasant throughout the entire process (even the finance guy...he wasn't pushy and didn't try to pressure me to take additional coverage I didn't need/want) and I will be back to seem them in three years when my lease ends.

Basically I stopped in to have my tires checked on the 2011 Ford Explorer that I was driving when Diamond Dave Spriggs spotted me in the service area. I was enjoying a cup of coffee and he wanted to show me what they had in stock. So we went for a ride in a 2015 Ford Edge. This was on a Thursday, March 15, 2018 to be exact! So I said that I would think about it and let him know on Friday morning between 10:30 AM and 12 noon! Scot Shandler had the paperwork ready for me in no time and I was able to keep my 1:00 PM hair dresser appointment. Brian Hoskins Ford service department worked on the car on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday for a Monday afternoon pickup on the 19th of March, 2018. I have never met a car salesman I liked. Until now! I have now bought 4 cars from here!! Freddie Reyes, my sales guy, is honest, informative and just a down to earth guy. Joe Cirucci, general manager, is a man of his word and he backs every vehicle he sells both new and used. He worked so hard to get me the best interest rate and he delivered! I couldn't be happier with my purchases here!! The service department is not your typical dealer service department. I am more distrustful of repair shops then I am of car salesmen but it's truly different here. When I need to bring my vehicle here I feel like I can trust them to be fair and honest. Even for a simple oil change I won't take any of my vehicles anywhere else!

I am not one to generally write a review, so when I do ... it's either really good, or really bad. Suffice it to say, I've got both thumbs up for this experience. Bottom Line ... if you're looking for a dealership that will find you your next vehicle, then look no more. Your most equitable investment in time will be a trip to Apollo Auto Sales in Sewell, NJ. While I cannot speak for every member of their staff, I have a solid handle on how most of them conduct their business. I can count no less than 7 individuals who made our purchasing experience'more than just buying a car'. And there is not one person there who negatively affected our buying experience. We came to Apollo after getting a pre-approval for a car loan on another website. We were looking for a reasonably priced, reliable used car for my daughter, and she saw one on line that she absolutely fell in love with (an '06 Mercedes), available at a very fair price. Before we arrived, I received a call from Jesse who told me he was the "finance guy" at Apollo, and who assured me we could get the payment we were pre-approved for. Carlo was the salesman who waited on us and was brave enough to take a test drive with my teenage daughter. We explained what we expected to pay as per the pre-approved website, and Carlo worked with Jim the manager so that we not only got the monthly payment we wanted but at a much better interest rate than expected! There were a couple of minor issues with the car (a cracked windshield and a non-working door handle) and they agreed to fix them without hesitation as part of the sale. Throughout the sale, Carlo was very attentive and courteous, and did not waste time getting the paperwork together. Some of the other staff (whose names I unfortunately don't know) also helped my daughter figure out how to use some of the car's features while we were busy with the paperwork. After we got the car home, we expressed some concerns about another issue that popped up (a brake light that came on) and the folks at Apollo were very accommodating. We brought the car in and Kevin, the service manager (a genuinely nice guy) had it checked out completely and took care of all our concerns free of charge. He gave us lots of tips and advice on how to keep the car in good shape and good running condition for years to come. Carlo and Jim (the manager) even came out to the service area when we picked up the car to make sure everything was okay. Overall, it was an excellent experience especially compared with a recent experience I had with another used car dealer who didn't want much to do with us after we drove off the lot. I get the impression that, even after the sale is made, Apollo genuinely cares that you are satisfied and happy with the purchase.

Went down to Dave and Mike's to look at a pre-owned 2008 Nissan Sentra that caught my eye. They talk about how buying a car can be an unpleasant experience, well this dealer could not have proved that statement more untrue! As soon as I walked in the door the staff was cordial and polite and made me feel right at home. I inquired about test driving the Sentra and they just gave me the keys! After the test drive I explained to them the next step for me was to take the car to my mechanic so he could go over it with a fine tooth comb, we worked out the logistics and I was able to do that without a problem the very next day despite the fact my mechanic was located nearly 45 minutes away! I previously went to Honda of Turnersville to test drive a pre-owned Honda Civic and my mechanic is literally right next door to the dealer and Honda of Turnersville wouldn't even let me take the car I test drove to him without a salesman accompanying me. At Dave and Mike's I dealt with the Sales Manager Joe who was polite, relatable, and just and all around good guy. As far as the car goes it's great! I still can't believe the deal I received and even was able to add a premium warranty for 3 months through the dealership that barely cost me anything! A few years down the road when I am once again in the market for a car I will undoubtedly be returning to Dave and Mike's!

I have owned a handful of well used cars and one truck so this is the newest car I have owned. Just bought this car 2 days ago and my girlfriend and I love it. Pretty powerful, amazing gas milage, sound system even in the SE package is amazing. Pretty comfortable to and from work. Small but roomy. Plenty of storage, and I love Fords new chime when the door opens.

Buying a car is always stressful ... but Branden Wright went above and beyond to make a return customer happy and take delivery of a new Ford Edge ST in a matter of 8 hours. After calling the dealership to inquire about a particular vehicle Branden was on top of matters to help grease the skids and make the deal happen. I was unable to travel the 80 miles to take the test drive and get paperwork done ... so instead, he gassed the vehicle up and drove to my house (90 minutes later) and picked me up. It was the longest (and best) test drive in history, I'm guessing. In the return hour and a half ride back to the dealership, I learned everything (from him) about the vehicle and really got a feel for the power and capabilities of the Edge ST. Within 70 minutes of returning, all my paperwork was done (thanks Doug for your thoroughness) and I was on my way home, happy as can be in the new car. Even though Branden has only been in the business for a few months, he understands that customer service is #1 and his actions today has created a referral source for life. I hope he continues to excel and learn the craft, as I'm sure he will be a "Winner @ Winner Ford" for sure.

I love the brakes and the take off. it is a smooth ride and does not feel like a small car. The trunk is small but serviceable but the overall look is sporty.
