Peppy little car. Fun to drive around the town. Plenty of leg room for me 6 ' 4" and 280 lbs, but a bit of a twist to get into. Would not recommend for anyone commuting to work over 25 miles each way.

6/7/2018 I took my vehicle in for service. Love the service department. My wife and I decided to walk around and look at the new vehicles (Traverses). We found one and decided to take a harder look. That???s when I met Chip. Nice enough guy at first. Started talking just a few numbers and he asked me what I would pay for this vehicle if I had cash. I told him and he said, ???Nope, won???t do it.??? I handed him the key and said, ???Well, I might as well not test drive it then.??? Chip walked away. I was only $2900 off the asking price. There wasn???t any negotiation with this individual and it was certainly just another frustrating encounter with a ???salesman???. I suggest you deal with another individual when looking for a new vehicle. However, I dealt with Art Speth in the service department and he was awesome. Thanks Art for being professional and respectful.

I loved owning this car. In addition to reducing the gas bill and my carbon footprint, it required almost no maintenance, had great acceleration, was comfortable, and got me back and forth to work (32 miles roundtrip) twice on a single charge. The storage space is limited by the battery, but for a simple commuter car that's not much of a concern. The only reason I recently parted ways with this vehicle was that I moved to the mountains, about 100 miles away from the nearest Ford dealership approved to work on EV's. I got a "Stop Safely Now" message on the car, which would disable the vehicle once it came to a stop. The local Ford dealer wouldn't even look at the car, so I was forced to tow it to the nearest dealer with an EV technician. The car didn't have the range to make it there, even if it was safe to drive, and Ford would only reimburse me for the first $100 of a tow. So eventually I bit the bullet, paid big bucks, and got the Focus down to a dealer that replaced the high voltage battery cable, and fixed the problem. But because of the logistics, it ended up being too much hassle to own this car away from a metro area with a qualified dealership. So my suggestion to prospective buyers: make sure you live near an approved Ford dealership that works on EV's, get the extended warranty that covers the drive train and electrical system, and make sure you can install a 240V electrical outlet at your home for fast charging on the car. If you can check off all those things, and have a commute less than about 70 miles roundtrip, do not hesitate to buy this vehicle. For around $10k it's a steal!!!

I was between Toyota Camry or Nissan Altima car. the minute I saw Nissan Altima I was in love instantly I said sign me up the good thing that I love about Matt is the fact that he's not only a salesperson he's there to help me with what I want I went to a lot of dealership and all they care about was making the sale and pushing things on me😡 even though I didn't really like those car, but when I went to Off Lease Only I did not have that feelings he listen to my needs he listen to my concern he know I was in a budget and I wasn't planning on going over my budget and a next good thing he said to me was if you're going to get the car you have to make sure you're really like the car because you're going to be making payment for the next five to six years and when you're making that payment you have to feel good in yourself that you made the right decision don't get the car to please me get a car to please yourself because at the end of the day I want you to be happy I want you to be satisfied with the decision you make and he was right 😘. Because most sales person only care about making a sale he did not push anything on me or force me to get something that he know I wasn't comfortable with. That was very nice very, very respectful I love that I feel very happy with the decision I make I love my car and I'm going to be happy making the payment for the next 6 years because guess what it's in my budget and it was exactly what I was looking for thank you Matt for helping me make the right decision all the best. And also the finance person Robert was also great he told me about the benefit of having gap insurance and also buying additional warranty and I was pleased.

I love my new Ford Focus EV. I test drove one back in 2012 and liked it better than the Nissan Leaf. It has a more attractive inside, felt more solid than the Leaf and looks better on the outside as well. I recently bought a used 2012 for half the price of new. I don't know why Ford doesn't market this car more aggressively, it's highly competitive with any EV out there. That's another reason why I chose it above the Leaf - I want folks to know it exists!

F150 not charging T@B trailer battery

I brought in my 2015 F150 since it wasn't charging the battery in my T@B trailer, this caused me to lose all the food I had in my 12vdc refrigerator a 3 week trip. Dave spent a considerable amount of time looking for an answer, even bringing in Jeff to verify what he'd found. After conferring with Fred, the service manager, it was determined that even though voltage was present to charge the battery it was of insufficient voltage and or current to charge the remote battery. There was 14.3vdc(charging voltage)on startup but it soon disappeared when the computer decided the truck battery was charged while disregarding the trailer battery that it showed was attached. While on my trip I'd met up with 3 other people with F150s and T@B trailers all of whom were experiencing the same issue of their trailer battery not being charge while travelling. I have had excellent service from this dealership from Joe (Salesman), Lou ( Manager), The Service Department (Fred & Dave) and the Quick Lube

Good car with a proper autonomy in summer but in winter the range falls below 120 km. It is a fairly heavy car but it have very good tires so its compensated especially in turns . the back is heavier than the front and the driving is weird at high speeds but nothing disturbing I had the right to undergo a strange bug but it never redone ? he interior is beautiful and I like the look outside which is very uncluttered. What to say about the maintenance but what maintenance by the maintenance of the brakes and tires! The parts of the vehicles ford are very cheap so the maintenance too .

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

Imagine driving by gas stations and waving instead of stopping. That's me, now that I own an Electric Focus. And, there are many places with free electricity in Sacramento, including my employer. In the Bay Area, I have access to the carpool lane even when driving solo because it comes with the "clean-air sticker." If I run the air conditioning, I get 70 miles; otherwise, I get closer to 90 miles per charge. Overall, I love my Ford Focus Electric.

Might buy the Versa instead

I bought this car based on my positive experience of my 2014 Focus gas. The 2012 Focus EV that I purchased for $9500 had just come off a lease and had just over 20,000 miles. Needless to say the price I paid was about a quarter of the MSRP and made it a geat value. Other than one recall for faulty door latches I have had no mechanical problems in the 10 months I have owned the car. Pros: At my electricity rates where I live I can easily charge my car for less than a dollar and under the right conditions can go 70 plus miles. One of the reasons I chose this car over the Versa was the exterior styling of the car. To me it has a sleeker appearance than the Versa, but this is matter of opinion. The front seating is comfortable and the controls are easy to reach. The car has very good 0-60mph pick up and I have never struggled merging into traffic. The car handles well, but has a wider turning radius the my Focus gas. I don't know if this is because of changes between the 2012-2014 models or because of the diffrerence in weight distribution between the gas and electric models. The SYNC entertainment system took some getting used to, but once you figure it out, it's an O.K. system. Cons: First let me say I live in a moderately rural area in N.C. . To give you an idea of my drive I am in the mountains and am 12 miles from my local city of 10,000 people. Some of my cons would not be pertinent to someone that lives in a big city or in a year long warm climate. On a full charge during warm months I can reasonably expect to go about 70 miles on a full charge. The A/C seems to have little impact on that mileage. When the temperature drops below 50F, the mileage takes a substantial hit by an estimated 10% for every 10 degrees, and using the heat adds probably another 5% drop. For that reason when it gets cold I normally find myself using my the gas Focus and if I do drive the EV I turn the heater on and off when the car gets a little warm inside to try to extend the mileage. This makes for a much more uncomfortable drive. One reason I might choose a Versa over the Focus would be that this car seems to be a gas car that they yanked the gas motor out and put an electric motor in, and not designed from the ground up as an EV like the Versa. My driveway is gravel and about 1/3 mile long. It is pretty level except for about 200' that has a moderate grade. My gas Focus never had any problems on this grade, but the EV tires would slip and spin telling me this car is rear heavy. A Versa owner nearby at my request drove up my driveway and had no problems. I finally had to put paved runners up this section to assist my E.V. at a substantial cost. The battery takes up a very large portion of the rear of this hatch so this might be something you need to explore. The back seat is very cramped for adults but would probably be fine for young children. This car has the worst low beam headlights I have ever used. Somehow Ford has defied physics and managed to stop light rays at about 50 feet. It is almost pitch dark about 50 feet in front in dark conditions. My local Ford dealer says the lights are not adjustable.This might not be a problem if you live in a well lite city. On the flip side this car has the best high beams of any car I have ever owned. Driving down my local backroads I am constantly having to switch between high and low beams as I come across appoaching traffic. Summary: I hope it doesn't sound like I am unhappy about purchasing this car because I am not. Most of the complaints I have would not be a problem if I lived in a big city. This is my first EV and don't forsee myself ever not having one unless a cheaper fuel source comes along or electricity rates go crazy. You do have to plan some of your trips and in my rural location I could not make it only with this vehicle. If you live in a similar location / climate as me and don't have access to a gas vehicle I would definitely recommend you look at a hybrid or one of the new lon

The only reason I would rate a 10 is because Ross was the hero of the day. Otherwise the ghetto treatment I received when I pulled up to my scheduled appointment was unacceptable. It was like why are you here, we have no time to do an oil change and you should reschedule. I never went to a place of business and felt like they wanted me to leave immediately like it’s 2:30pm and we are closing. No need to check that you have a scheduled appointment, you need to leave we’re too busy for you. Thank god I went inside and spoke to Ross. He’s the only person with true professionalism and excellent customer service skills. I was about to loose my mind in disbelief of being treated horribly when I got out of my car but Ross was so kind, courteous and professional! You can tell that he’s a seasoned professional and understands how to conduct business. As for the other individuals I encountered they made me feel like I was a major inconvenience and not welcomed at all. It made me never wanting to come in ever again. I’m not sure if I ever will or would ever consider buying another Ford vehicle ever. So as far as Ross goes 10 stars as I would like to commend him and for the others 0 stars. I really love this car. I drive it to work everyday and can charge it every other day. I’m in Los Angeles and drive highways and streets into Hollywood. I’ve even driven down from Pasadena to Orange County. When there’s tons of traffic it’s pretty easy to get there and then charge. I have a Tesla p100d as well and for practical ness the Ford is unassuming and gets me to work without any pretense. No majors problems. A few recalls but it was all covered. Bought mine with 800 miles on it from Galpin and it came with lifetime warranty on the drivetrain. Not sure if it covers the battery. Pretty respectable real world local range. Trunk space is hindered by battery but that’s why I have other cars to haul stuff.

I had my rear driver's door and my wipers(re-call) fixed in this place. I would say starting with the service consultant, Josh, was very friendly and welcoming. The place looks clean and organized. WIFI!!! is one of the reasons i loved this place.

The 2016 Focus Electric is rated for 75 miles per charge, I have been averaging 90-95 per charge! I have had the car about 3 months. I am single and live alone so the small trunk space is not an issue for me.

brought in my ford fusion for service , bob in service was very helpful on pointing out a few items that it might need soon since it had 55,000 miles on it. while waiting I went to browse the new cars stan came out and introduced himself after talking I mentioned I might want something bigger. I ended the afternoon by buying a ford escape. everybody was just great to deal with.

I have a 2016 Ford Focus Electric. It has been 100% reliable. Use it for running errands. It took a couple of weeks to get used to the electric range. But the car has exceeded my expectations.

I’ve been bringing my cars to Folsom Lake Toyota for nearly 13 years. The repair counselors always review the maintenance report with me and let me know if any maintenance will be required in the coming weeks/months, the facilities are always clean and comfortable, and the service is usually pretty quick. I’ve found that it is better to wait onsite for the car. Also, appointments fill up quickly (and can be made online) so expect to schedule at least a week or two out.

Great Customer Service! I really felt like the staff was there to help me get out of my situation not sell me for their benefit ( I was upside down making payments on my Chevy Cruz) UNTIL I went to Niello. I left the lot that day VERY excited with me brand new Tiguan. It runs great! very clean facility, awesome staff, fast service, very helpful. Definitely no complaints at all.

I am VERY pleased with the Bill Pierre Ford service department. I wish I could say the same for Ford Motor Company overall. I bought two brand new Fords in 2015, a Platinum trim Explorer and a Ford Focus for my daughters. The Explorer has been terrific, the Focus an absolute nightmare. When I offered to stay in the Ford family if only Ford would cut me a deal on a new Escape and a buy-back of the Focus, Ford Motor Company refused. I will NEVER purchase another Ford vehicle (I'm about to drop $25K on a Honda) and am telling anyone who will listen of Ford's myopic stance on the Focus. Too bad the dealership takes a hit as they are great.

Tim treats me like a human being and not a dollar-sign and he always does it with a smile. Tanya is also quite amazing. They both know their stuff. Both go the extra mile to make what is generally a drag (repairs) seem not quite the bummer it really is.
