SERVICE RENDERED FOR MY 2010 GRAND MARQUIS

I had recently purchased a 2010 Mercury Grand Marquis from CarMax and wanted to have a qualified technician inspect the car for mechanical integrity. Tracy Hall (Phil Long Lincoln) was able to give me an appointment this past Saturday, 08 September. The report showed no major problem areas but did note that some of the fluids were not clean, possibly indicating that the vehicle had not been serviced recently. The recommendation was to have all, if not most, of the 60K miles maintenance items performed. The list of items, with their prices, came to well over $1200. I did have the dealership obtain the keyless entry code for which I paid just under $70. In the end, I decided to NOT keep the car, and returned it to CarMax for a full refund under their 5-day return policy. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service received at Phil Long Lincoln.
