Great car buying

Took the whole family out to shop for a new car(wife didn't want to go) but I talked her into it. Found the right one for us and to it for a spin, the wife fell in love. Needless to say we bought it and our salesman was very courteous to our needs and made it a very simple process. He helped up with all the features of the car which I didn't know there is so much technology in them. The managers were great Keith and Lane who showed us around and made the experience very nice and our salesman Chris. We recommend to go see them if your ready to buy a new car simple and easy thank you.

I love it!! It sits a little low for me, but, what do I know, I'm old LOL. Other than that it's great. I now have respect from the kids. Plenty of room for my tall kids without feeling like I'm driving a tank. Has great pick-up speed and very smooth ride. Love it!

I lost my diesel truck in an accident and needed to replace it fast to keep my business moving. Diesels Direct had the selection of trucks above and beyond any other dealer I could find. Aric, my sales consultant made my purchase very easy and never applied any pressure during the process. I would buy here again and would recommend this dealership and sales consultant to my friends.

Mr. Rick Cavender met with us briefly last week and said, "I hope we can own your business." We took the advise and met with Ariel Esparza, Malo Payne and Tony Osburn. They went out of their way and went above and beyond their call of duty. We left the dealership at 9:18 p.m. yesterday. I can only say that the customer service was amazing and they really worked with us on all aspects from the car detailing, financing and so much more. Thank you for making our experience a memorable one!!! I am happy to report that I am in a 2016 Q3 and I love it!
Best car I have owned.
by OneSchwiftyRick from Temecula, CA

Everything about this car was great for me. I have owned and driven over 30 different cars and this one definitely stood out. Comfort - Extremely comfortable for me with the bucket seats up front, although stiffer than most regular seats, thats how I like it and the back seats are softer than bmw's, maserati's, audi's or any of the luxury brands ive been in. All of my controls/shift knob, cupholders are in exactly the right spot as well. Performance - For a 20k dollar car the performance is awesome and spirited. Love how it drives, and although I prefer stiffer suspensions, it is stiff enough to feel secure while being soft enough to not bother people over bumps. The shift is easy, the clutch has decent weight, everything is just right for me. Reliability - Over 5 years and there have been no maintenance issues with this car. Absolutely the most reliable car I have had to date.

TRUST WORTHY AND HONEST!
by Reggie from Detroit, MI
November 6, 2018

Let me start off by saying that I wasn't able to purchase a vehicle from RPM due to paperwork issues that were out of RPM control and mine. To be perfectly honest with you I was scared to death that they were going to rob me blind because we're in different states and I wasn't able to view the vehicle in person. I was going to buy the vehicle sight unseen. I prayed on it and put my faith in GOD and let me say that "Junior and Marcus" were not only HONEST, TRUST WORTHY and FAIR they were HASSLE FREE and the BEST car salesman I've ever dealt with. I regret not being able to complete the deal. If I'm ever in the market for a new/used car from CA I'm checking RPM first, and I suggest you do the same¿¿

Most of the features of the car is good except the space... Now, I have a newborn baby and I’m thinking of changing the car. The trunk is not large enough and I cannot put the stroller in easily! Also, rear seat is not comfortable for two passengers if the baby carier is installed.

I absolutely love this dealership. I had the best sales rep. James Phillips made me look like a pro at buying cars. He listened and helped me get in the car I wanted. He wasn't pushy or try to push me into something I didn't want. I was in and out of the dealership in record time. It actually took me longer to get insurance then to fill out my loan paperwork. James Phillips is so great! Ladies you can buy a car and be treated with respect and like royalty. I came in with a few challenges on my credit and still got the car I wanted. No settling! I got a great deal! I came home to my husband and 3 sons and they were extremely impressed. I am on cloud nine. Thank you James!!! I love my new car!! I have no doubt I will be returning to Hennessey to buy another car and seeing James again.

This car has great handling, the interior is very nice, the sound system isnt bad but could be better. I really like the ambient lighting. For a larger person, the seats may be uncomfortable (wrap around bucket seats). The RECARO seats are very nice though. Overall, I absolutely love the car!

Awesome Salesman at Ford City in Champaign, IL

Recently purchased my Lincoln MKZ at Ford City. I got the pleasure of dealing with Cody Warmoth. I have to admit the process of buying a new car is not my favorite thing to do! When Cody approached us and introduced himself we immediately liked him. Cody really took the time to discuss what we were wanting and helped guide us in finding it. We built our Lincoln on line before going to Ford City. Cody took it from there! At the end of day, so to speak, Cody had just the car for us with more options for less money! He was never pushy and showed us great respect. Ford City is very fortunate to have him on staff. He is very good at his job. We made a friend that day! Keep up the good work Cody! If you're looking to buy a car, go see him and he will treat you right! We went to "look" that day and ended up driving home an awesome red MKZ!
Suspension fails within a year

I have it for 2 years now... It won't leak or make noises. Is just... the test drive you took when brand new is going to be just a memory after a year. Instead you'll get lots of body-roll, one wheel peel(no slip dif) some torque steer... Keep in mind US manufacturers rate horse power at the crank. European rate them at the wheel. So a GTI VW is very close to our Focus ST. It will be hard to embarrass a civic SI or Elantra GT FRS toy... A V6 will be right there with us. Just facts. If you can get a killer deal, is a good bang for the buck. I spent 20k new

Fantastic Dealership - Excellent Sales Team!

Hands-down, the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle. Given the model, style, color and options I wanted, there were only 7 left in the country to be found. I was negotiating with the 3 closest Toyota dealerships to me (Kentucky. Tennessee & Ohio), and Steve Dawson offered me the best price (plus added the options that weren't already on the truck), and gave me the highest price for my trade-in. And to prove just how good the deal was...I drove 856 miles round trip from Wisconsin (15+ hours total), to make it all happen! Once I arrive, the entire staff was welcoming and friendly. Steve was there to greet me right away and make sure the entire process went smoothly. Matt Ricker took me through the purchasing process quickly and seamlessly. And, Tyler Hepp walked me through all of my vehicle's amazing features, programmed my home address into the GPS, set-up my Bluetooth and synced my phone with my new vehicle so I could listen to my favorite music on Pandora all the way home. It was a long day for me, but I have absolutely no regrets. Thanks for everything guys!

Back to Mini! Another Clubman
by Laura K. from DealerRater.com
November 5, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.9 (937 reviews)
I went back to Mini last week to meet with Karen Fortune, my Mini advisor to discuss specials on 2015 they were running. Having a Clubman previously, I wasn't really considering it again and thought a 2016 would be out of my price range. However, after Karen had Neil Westfall look over the numbers, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was actually well within in my range. Karen took the time to discuss all of my options with me- from select, to traditional pricing, to a lease. This is the 4th Mini I have had, so Karen is very familiar with the condition of my Minis, the mileage I put on my cars over the course of a year. I was very interested in a lease but wasn't familiar with how a lease worked. Karen was very thorough explaining the ins and outs of the lease, which I ultimately went with since I like a new model every 2-3 years which didn't fit with traditional financing. Paperwork was quick, simple and straightforward. Tina Logue handled that and explained to me what I was signing, and what to expect plate wise and registration wise since this was a lease. Paperwork literally was less than 10 minutes and there was zero pressure for extended warranties. After that, I was eager to just take the keys and go since this was my 4th Mini. A lot of sales people would have agreed and been happy to see me walk out the door since the deal was done. However, Karen knew I had not driven the new models extensively. Due to the numerous changes made to the 2015 and 2016 models, she wanted to ensure I understood the new features that were available in the car, as well as take the time to program the settings to my own personal tastes (turn signal flashes, night time interior brightness, exterior pathway lights, Bluetooth/phone pairing, radio station programming, etc.). After we went through everything, Karen did a final walk around the car. Before I drove off the lot, she made another appointment a week out so I could come back in, and ask any questions I might have about How To's related to the car. That evening, she also reached out to me personally to ensure I was enjoying the car. Karen's level of commitment to her customers goes way above and beyond what is expected. She is passionate about what she does, and takes the time to get to know you as a person. She is well versed on all of the models Mini offers- both from a technical perspective and design perspective. Karen is not pushy and follows your lead which makes the entire process stress free and straightforward. A lot of sales people can be intimidating, and buying a car can be intimidating. I know with Karen it won't be. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Karen to my friends and family because I know as soon as they walk in or talk to her on the phone or in email, they'll be in good hands.

If you want to have your cake and eat it too, this is the car for you. If you really want to own a performance car but need to also have a practical daily driver the Focus ST might be the car to fit the bill. With 252 hp and a chassis that is setup for outstanding handling characteristics it can really give you the performance feel you might be looking for along with being able to travel on the freeway getting 30 mpg at 80 mph. I was blown away by all that this vehicle is capable of. Because it is a hatchback you have great practicality also, which is very hard to find in vehicles unless you are looking at crossover SUVs. Most importantly it's been a joy to own and I've felt like it was money well spent and a good bang for the buck if you are looking for a car that can do everything.

So far, my 2013 Ford Focus st has met me expectations. It is nice. The transmission shifts smoothly and the shift light seems to be pretty accurate unlike most cars. This is a quick car. It’s going to be faster than most, but not faster than all. It’s a happy medium between a family car and a performance car.

When I walked onto the Gibbons Ford lot I was a little iffy due to previous experiences I have had, then I met Matt.I had already found a car online tgat I loved and wanted to take home. Unfortunately the car was not on the lot. Someone was driving it whike they waited for there new car to arrive. That was upsetting but ok, because I had some questions about it. Matt was willing to sit with me until all of them where answered. By the end of my questions I wanted my dream car more than anything else. Matt and his manager made some phone calls. By time I left I had an answer if I was getting the car I dreamed about since being 8 years old. They had the answer they can have the car there on a Saturday, and I cleared my schedule to be there. 4 days later I came back to the lot and there was the cars the let me take it for a test drive. When the test drive was over it was a done deal. By time 530 pm came around I was driving off the lot in a Mustang and probably the happiest girl in the world at that point. I loved that Matt listened to me and what I wanted, he didn't try to change my mind on what I wanted and was always ready to help. I highly recommend going to Gibbons where they will treat you like family and steer you straight.

For example gas saver, comfortable, and fast is what I always looked for in a car. If you are thinking of buying a Focus ST, BUY THE FOCUS ST. If you are like me have a full time job and goes to college. Consider buying a used one owner Focus ST with low miles. Honestly I love my Focus ST so does my family and friends. The Focus ST is worth your money trust me and all the other reviews.

I traded in my 2014 Focus ST for a 2018 Focus ST recently. My 2014 ST was a fantastic car. I had 85k miles on it when I traded and about 40k of that were travel/pleasure miles. In all that time, it never left me stranded, had no major issues and was extremely reliable and fun to drive. Because of that, I decided to trade it in for another one. I have spent the last 3 days and over 300 miles driving this car and have really enjoyed every minute. So what do I like about the car? For the money, you cannot beat this car. It is fun to drive, comfortable with the newer seats, has plenty of power for round the town and spirit mountain road driving, and looks great. You get modest tech in the ST1 package, but when it comes to in car tech, I can take it or leave it. I buy cars based on smiles per mile, so if the car can put a smile on my face on the daily, I really don't care if it doesn't come with a 7" screen, nav, or apple car play. I love to listen to music while I drive, so as long as I can pair my phone to a car to use my music library on it, I am happy. At 5'11'' and a modest 160lbs, I fit in the car well. My wife and 17 year old fit in the car well also. You can easily fit 4 average sized adults in this car with comfort. The storage room in the hatch area without the seats down more than accommodates a trip to the grocery store or a day of shopping. With the seats folded down, I can easily fit my all of my camping gear, cooler, inflatable kayak and a duffel bag full of clothes with room to spare. I have a roof rack on mine, but if I needed to, I can easily put my mountain bike in the back as long as I take the wheels off and store them around the bike. For a compact hatch, that is amazing. My 2014 was extremely reliable so I am hoping that my 2018 follows suit with that. The handling is fantastic in this car. It goes where you point it and you can enter a high speed turn with confidence. Plus, there is that fun liftoff oversteer that lets you kick the rear end out when you are feeling extra spry. The factory tuned appears to be much more refined that the pre-facelift version of this car. My 2014 was an in your face tune. The turbo kicked in and threw you back in the seat. There was nothing linear about it. This newer version seems to be much more linear and you get more of a constant pull. Overall, if you want a sporty, fun, and great daily driver, this is the car for you. What I don't like. I cannot stand the shift in this car. I feel like I am rowing a boat. Ford should have put a factory short shifter in this car and put a bigger shift knob on it. This is just personal taste though that can easily be changed with a couple aftermarket parts. I am not a huge fan of the big plastic bit on the rear bumper. I will never understand American car manufacturers and their obsession with exterior black plastic. It just looks tacky. I am iffy on the clutch feel. The 2014 ST clutch feel on the kick back end was terrible. This new clutch pedal is almost non-existent. While that is great for daily rush hour traffic, there isn't much feedback during spirited driving. While I don't really care to much about tech, it's 2018. Your standard econo cars are coming with apple and android play and in dash screens for less money so I am not really sure why Ford didn't step up their game. The paint is fragile and chips easily. Living in the desert, this is a big deal since you are constantly at war with pebbles and stones on the roadway. I also do not care for the new steering wheel. I do like the flat bottom but the leather wrap and steering wheel in general feels like cheap plastic. The steering wheel on my 2014 was much better. That is the most important part of the cockpit and Ford dropped the ball on it. Also, the exhaust tone, or lack there of. Come on Ford. You built a sporty car, gave it a quiet exhaust and replaced it with some fake engine noise that sounds more like a Subaru than a 2.0L Ford. Overall: This is just simply a great car and it is sad that 2018 will be its last year in the states. This care built a cult following over the past 5 years and got a lot of people into cars that normally would not be into fun to drive sporty hot hatches. I loved the reliability of the 2014 I owned and this 2018 is much refined over that one. The pro's greatly outweigh the cons, since for a little bit of money and some aftermarket parts, I can easily adjust it to my liking.
