tires on my truck
December 3, 2018
I had an appointment for 7:00 am to have 2 tires put on the front of my truck, along with front end alignment. I was there, first thing in the morning....They asked what time I wanted it done....I said 2:00 as I brought my bicycle along to ride home. (I live 2 miles away), but sooner if possible and to call me when it was done. it was getting around noon, no word from the dealer, so I rode up to see what was happening. Much to my dismay, my truck was sitting in the parking lot, still with the old tires. It had not been moved. I asked a service man why my truck was still waiting....he said he would get someone on it right away. I went across to a McDonalds...had lunch, killed about 45 minutes. When I went back, my truck was still in the same spot. By now, it is almost 1:00 and the service manager said he would get someone on it as soon as they got back from lunch. I told him I needed it by 2:00 as I had to pick up my wife from work. I did not think they could finish it by then and just give me my keys and I would make another appointment. He assured me it could be done...maybe a little after 2. I said I would wait in the waiting room for it. At 1:30, I walked out in the parking lot and IT WAS STILL SITTING IN THE SAME SPOT. I asked again for my keys...this time they gave them to me and we made an appointment for the next day and Ben (device guy) promised me it would get right in. So I took it back the next day...They did take it back right away, installed the new tires, aligned the front end and filled all 6 tires (I have a dually) with nitrogen. They discounted the tires and gave me the alignment t and nitrogen for free, so I was very pleased in then end.
Will I go back? Probably, but I will wait for my vehicle, letting them know I need it asap.
