I purchased a 2017 mustang gt premium and i was very impressed with the innovatory they had, i was able to get my hands on the car of my dreams with all the different choices they had. Although my front grill was missing the "mustang" emblem so i contacted them to tell them about it and they said they can't do much about it which is upsetting due to the amount of money i spent on the vehicle i wish they would throw in the new $10 emblem. The reason this is a 5 star rating is because Anthony was very friendly and made my buying experience awesome!
Pleasantly surprised by this Ford's reliability.

Warranty has a lot of loopholes. The dealers will do everything they can to not cover your claims. Be mindful on their offers for unnecessary services . I have taken the car three times and even though I have extended warranty, nothing has been covered.

VERY good buying experience!

After having one of my two family cars finally give out, I found myself in the market for a car. It had been over 10 years since we last bought a car so I was a bit apprehensive about having to go through it. I searched online for several days and looked at several different dealer inventories and made a few visits to area dealerships. A particular pre-owned Ford Edge caught my eye after reviewing EVS' website so I made a trip to visit Eric Von Schledorn in Random Lake. I was able to walk around the lot freely (without being accosted by a salesperson) for a bit, and then Alex Hernandez came out to greet me. Alex was very knowledgeable and friendly and never once made any attempt to be pushy or press a "hard sell" type of attitude, which I greatly appreciated. In fact, he essentially let me "set the pace" so to speak with the whole process. I made a few trips in to see him and test drove a few different SUV's over the course of a week. On one quick trip into the showroom, I was met by the sales manager, John Kovach, who introduced himself and let me know that Alex was off that day, so I thanked John and let him know I would stop in another time when Alex was there. A few days later I did just that and was impressed when John saw me and said hello and remembered my name. All of the staff was friendly and really gave the impression that they care about where they work, what they do, and who they do it for. Certainly not every dealership out there gives that impression, but EVS in Random Lake does. While my wife and I discussed our final impressions after a test drive, Alex was kind enough to take our 4-year old little girl around the dealership for a "tour" and a cookie, which she really enjoyed and my wife and I appreciated the few minutes to talk privately! We negotiated a bit with Alex and John and arrived at a very fair price for a beautiful Ford Edge. The last step in the process was the financing. I was a little apprehensive about that part of it. I needed good terms and realized that was a lot to ask for since I did't have any cash to put down. I was very pleased when working with Noel Janke, the finance manager. Not only did Noel get us a nothing down deal with a great rate and a payment that perfectly fit our budget, he even stayed late on a Friday evening (past closing time) to finish the paperwork with my wife and I. He, like all the staff we encountered at EVS was extremely knowledgable, kind, friendly and dedicated. As I mentioned, it has been a long time since I needed to buy a car. EVS in Random Lake made the experience very enjoyable. We got a great deal on a great vehicle. We didn't buy the most expensive car on the lot....not even close. But we were treated like we did. I would highly recommend EVS in Random Lake and we will certainly buy from them again!

Being a Smog Technician I sit in all sorts of cars, and this car really surprises me..... not only is the interior very comfortable and adjustable, but the look of the car as a whole and the performance and handling is more than i expected from a hybrid. on top of comfort, it is saving me a lot of money on gas, i charge it at work, and it gets me home solely on the batteries and half the way back to work. all around i am impressed with this vehicle

For my wife, I purchased a Ford EDGE 2015 loaded model from Imperial Ford with the help of Dean Childs, Sales; and Lou Carvalho, Sales Manager. They allowed me to take the vehicle home, show it to my wife and then bring it back. Upon my return to the dealership, I told them we really liked the car but the price was not in our budget. Lou said, "Let me see what I can do for you!" Currently we had been paying $350 per month on the vehicle we were trading in. Lou and Dean offered me a monthly payment (INCLUDING a non-deductible 9 year/150000 mile warrantee) under $400!!! It was a no brainer. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. In 2014 I was able to design my own Ford Mustang Convertible of which I drove away on my 65 birthday blasting my Beach Boys tunes as I drove home. If you are lookin' for a Ford, go H E R E!!!

Amazing Service, Best Value & Lowest Interest Rate
by GoogleGuy from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 4.7 (100 reviews)
Luis provided exceptional service and we saved thousands off retail price. Not only that, they beat the Carmax interest rate by almost 10% so the payment went from $600s to $400s range. That's huge saving, especially when you add the fact it was around $4,000 cheaper than any other car lot for comparable Mazda vehicles...but the cherry on top was the tinted windows, wheels, Bose speakers, and the fact it only has 11k miles on it, while the other more expensive vehicles at Carmax had almost double the mileage as well as being more expensive. Long story short, Luis, Doug, and the team at Royal Moore are the best and I highly recommend them to everyone who values service and savings.
High mileage lease return PHEV in Minnesota winter
by JavaFernHobbies from Duluth, Minnesota
February 1, 2019

This car was purchased used as a high mileage one owner lease return (Titanium trim level) on December 27th, 2018. It had slightly over 159000 miles on it when it was driven off the dealership lot. Nothing is under warranty anymore, so this is really where the rubber meets the road in terms of long-term reliability. It has been on long highway trips and back country roads at high speed, in sleet, snow, and very cold temperatures, so the gas engine has been used a lot. It has a 2L inline 4 with the electronic variable valve timing Atkinson cycle setup with the direct injection system that many modern cars have. The engine is connected to the wheels and dual three phase synchronous electric motor/generators with a single planetary gearset, and the differential speed between the two motors gives the engine variable speed at a fixed RPM to stay in the power band on gasoline burning mode, so it is not a normal, belt-driven CVT. This is a very good thing! It has all of the benefits of a CVT, with none of the drawbacks. It is very nice going up hills, because it doesn't keep hunting for gears. Also, going down hill and stopped at red lights, it does the usual hybrid "start/stop engine" thing. One of the motors acts as the starter, so no 12V starter to wear out. Full-time electric mode is only available when you charge it, and it pops up a different battery icon on the dash than you see in gas mode. In Minnesota winter, with the AC off and the seat heater on, and gentle driving, this particular model still delivers close to its factory rated electric range. In gasoline mode, with normal driving and all of the heat on, it is getting an average of 36mpg. Another important thing is the regenerative brakes. In normal mode they barely do anything. To activate them fully, you need to move the gear selector back to the "L" position. In terms of snowy/icy road handling, it is a large, heavy car, and the regular brakes are incredibly grabby, but the ABS and traction control are very good at keeping the car from sliding too much, even with all season tires. In terms of actual, real world reliability, here is a list of everything that has gone wrong with it so far: The engine sounds slightly rough, especially on cold days (no smoke visible from exhaust), Check engine light came on for one of the O2 sensors (possible cause of first issue), Rubber boot on left CV joint wore out, There was a shuddering noise during regenerate braking during a cold (-19F) morning which went away after it was shifted back into drive and into "L" again, The 3V coin cell battery in the key fob wore out and was replaced, The passenger side front lamp that comes on when you shut the car off and lock it stopped working, The passenger side fog light bezel came off, The drivers side under-mirror light flickers slightly, The rear parking sensor system displayed an error which went away by turning it off and back on again. Other than what is on this list, everything else on the car functions as intended from the factory.

I am about 6'2 and the leg room is amazing. Also I have found that it drives very well in snow. My theory is that is has the large battery in the truck so it gives it more weight in the back. One the of best vehicles I have ever owned. The mpg goes down some in the winter, but my average with all the seasons is about 70 mpg. It's great!

I found a used Ford Fusion Energie online. I sent a message through their online messaging and they contacted me the next morning. Although the car was still in transit to the dealership they were able to work out a deal with me in advance at a very fair price. When the car was received they checked it out and I was able to come pick it up. The car was in perfect condition, it looked brand new. This was one of the few dealerships within 200-300 miles that had the Energie. It was the quickest and simplest car buying experience I have had. I would definitely use this dealership again, although I hope to not need a new car for a while.

Got 'er done

I needed a car, yesterday, but everything kept falling through. Between financing as a student with little income and other issues, (my last car burnt after I had a recall fire hazard done 2 weeks before) I scoped some autos on the web and headed north to Dover. I came in with intentions to buy, and finance, a vehicle I saw online in as little time as possible (grouchy father as a driver and possible co-signer). Fortunately, that vehicle was having repairs and would not be returned to the dealership until a later date. However, Keith, our salesman, directed our attention toward several acceptable subs. Long story short, I was able to pay cash for a well-kept Corolla that should last me through grad school and drive off the lot in 2 hours or less. I have nothing but the best reviews. My vehicle problem was solved and I don't have another bill to pay every month.

Leasing of 2018 Escape
by Gretchen from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018

Today I signed the papers for my second lease with Mike Murphy Ford after meeting several times with Anthony Davis. Throughout both interactions (2015 and 2018), Anthony was professional, helpful, and encouraging: but NOT pressuring me to make a decision. For comparative purposes, I talked with two other local Ford dealers after my initial meeting with Anthony in early January 2018. The first sales person at Dealer #1 was - in a word - obnoxious, presenting the idea that anyone would be privileged to work with him. The second person (Dealer #2) was more professional; but after I met with him for two hours and given him a written list of questions I needed to have answered in order for me to make a decision, did not respond for more than 5 days. In that e-mail, he only addressed half of what I had asked. I sent him another e-mail containing the questions, and received no response. Anthony was very patient, answering all of my many questions in a timely manner; and did not pressure me to spend more than I can afford. It has been a pleasure to work with him.

Car being the Energi has a lot of internal bells and whistles and luxury built in, and if you do plug it in constantly it's a green car worthy of driving. But there is the trade off. The cost to charge is not that much less than gas and with gas you double the trunk. With solar or updated batteries that would get you more than 20 miles this would be a game changer. But one has to calculate what you want if your sole consideration is money or being green. Going hybrid might have been better....more trunk and not that much of a hit in gas. That said I like the tech on the car and with wind playing so much of the source of electricity where I am....I feel I am doing my part to help the environment.

My experience Saturday was awesome. Pretty much went to LOOK at vehicles and ended up leaving with one! My credit is terrible from past situations with an ex and I thought it was hopeless.. So far this car has exceeded my expectations. The titanium package is probably the best bang for your buck. Who does not want AC seat in the AZ summer heat? Driving home in 115 deg heat my hands and face were frozen to touch and so was my butt, I could not be happier. The lane assist is hands down awesome. If you start to drift into another lane it will correct you back into you lane along with vibrating steering wheel and lights and noise. Perfect for road trips and new drivers. Auto parale parking is an experience you will not forget. I picked up my mom for lunch and shocked her it was pretty funny. She was freaking out because it basically parks it self. Running straight energy is great and the hybrid feature is awesome as well. If I had to settle with just the hybrid feature alone it would be ok. The energi model make the vechicle 300 more pounds heavier if that helps. All in all I would highly recommend the hybrid fusion to new drivers since it really teaches you how slow roll stop ? and not gun it at lights. The energi would be good for people with longer commutes to work.

Great Experience with Luke - sold us two vehicles!
by nwolff04 from DealerRater.com
December 3, 2018

My wife and I went to Griffin planning to replace our leased 2016 Explorer Sport with a newer Explorer. Luke approached us and was immediately polite, helpful and probably the two most important things in my eyes.. knowledgeable and NOT pushy. There can be sales people in any industry that just push and push, but Luke had the perfect balance. First off, he took the time to bring us the first Explorer we wanted to see which ended up not being exactly what we were looking for. He then took us to their second lot where we saw another 2018 Explorer and and 2018 Expedition Limited. We were blown away by his knowledge of the Expedition. We sat down and he worked out our deal where he was able to get us everything we asked for and more! End of the day we went home with the Expedition and bought out our Explorer lease. Needless to say, I will be heading back to see Luke at Griffin when my 2017 F-150 Platinum lease is up. Nice work Luke, keep it up!
Best car for the Seattle commuter!

Really have enjoyed owning and driving this car. Had a long commute so we purchased the Energi version of the Fusion. Was getting close to 60MPG combined between the electric motor & the hybrid motor! The only way I could have beat that was if my boss let me plug it in from the work parking lot! (I would have if my office wasn't in the industrial part of Kent!)

Purchase 2011 F 150 Super Crew KIng Ranch

I had been looking for a good used King Ranch pickup. My little '06 Rancher had served me well but it was time to move up to something larger. Contacted the dealership and Morgan set up an appointment to come up and see it. Katie was our sales person and she did a great job. She was prompt and was able to answer any questions we had and was quick to get back with us with any information from her manager. We got a good trade in on the Ranger. The cosmetic issues with the F 150 front bumper where handled right at the dealer's paint/body shop and looks great afterward. Jared was a great help explaining the out of state purchasing and registration process. We are very pleased. Great vehicle at a good price, we intend to use and enjoy it for many years to come. Thanks again to Katie for a great sales experience. Larry & Karen Bohlen Severn, Maryland

We looked at Ford Fusion Energi, Honda Clarity Gas/Electric, and Chevy Bolt EV. The Fusion is a highly refined midwestern car. It will soak up washboard pavement and Interstates (like I-74) paved in 1960 with grasses growing in between the cracks. It will literally float down I-80 to lake tahoe and you won't mind being in the gravel-surfaced trucker lane. It is a hoot to drive, partly because the instrument panel turns braking into a videogame where you work to achieve a 100% energy recovery score, but it also has good power (180+ hp). It is spacious and although not sporty, it's also not a behemoth like the ford LTD from the 1970's and 1980's whose ride it harkens back to (my friends once went skiing in a Ford LTD and they simply laid their skis sideways in the trunk.) The loss of trunk space is unfortunate (the batteries cut trunk space from 16 cu ft to 8 cu ft; space is 12 cu ft in the Hybrid), but the groceries of a costco shopping cart still fits in the rear trunk of Energi. The interior is the nicest car I've ever owned (good leather seats; awesome 11-speaker stereo; good sound insulation; good headroom & comfortable armrests & heated steering wheel & 3-level heated seats). The car has just wrecked our enjoyment of our 2001 Lexus Rx300, I find myself screaming as the gas mileage falls from 15.1 mpg to 15.0 mpg at stoplight! Three wishes to improve this car: (1) Move the batteries under the floor, beneath the rear seat, etc., get the trunk back up to 12-14 cu ft in a configuration that fits more than 2 soft carryon bags (NOTE: duffel bags are needed to get the most from the fusion trunk, 4 people can take a long distance trip with skis on the roof but you wouldn't want to move a child to college with this car.) (2) I have a remote start key which works from 300 ft away, sometimes in the evening I lean over and the car alarm goes off, annoying the neighbors; Please make the car alarm button harder to trigger by mistake. (3) The ONLY thing the Lexus Rx300 does that Ford Fusion doesn't, is it has a way (insert key, turn, & hold in turned position) to close all the windows & sunroof. This is probably just a software update; please consider, it Ford!

Once again, the folks at Montgomery Lincoln were our heroes. They connected us with Lincoln Roadside Assistance who got our vehicle to the service department within two hours for an emergency repair and completed all this, under warranty, before we returned after work that day. Our overall service experience there has simply been the best and we've owned many brands through the years, foreign and domestic. Lincoln is truly earning its stripes as a modern luxury brand by going the extra mile.

2013 Ford escape The service is always wonderful. I have had one issue for about a year, insulation around my exhaust pipe that keeps shredding. The staff finally fixed it. I do hope I do not see it hanging again. Thank you to Jim Foley and staff to correct it.
End of the line for Fusion 2020

It was nice but I found a so much better PHEV to drive a Chrysler Pacifica limited PHEV Hybrid the Ford had just a 7 cubic ft trunk the Pacifica over 90 cubic ft cargo area, Ford lost it's edge when it announced it is ending the Fusion line in 2020, and is not giving anyone a better PHEV that Chrysler is and the Pacifica is only in its 2nd year of production and will last a lot longer than the Fusion will.
