A Modern, reliable v-6 muscle car

I bought this car for the looks and gas mileage. However the handling and road noise levels were both disappointing. I would have thought with the premium addition you would also get sound deadening. Wrong! I stripped the entire interior out and spent $200.00 on a large box of boom mat. 38 sheets later the entire interior body structure front to rear, including the sides, wheelwell archs, and entire trunk floor were covered. Now the car is acceptable. Shame on Ford for ever selling a premium edition car that noisy. Handling was equally weak. I had no confidence I could drive this car safely near the limits of adhesion. I purchased Eiback springs, Koni adjustable shocks, whiteline adjustable panhard bar, boss 302 shock tower brace, and mustang gt rear sway bar to dial in the suspension. Now the car handles like it looks and can be driven hard with control. Yes the ride is stiffer but now it doesnt drive like a Yugo. A computer tune gave the motor instant throttle response and firmed up the transmission shifts. Highway mileage remained the same as stock at 28 mpg. I have a wonderful car now. Its quick, quiet, totally reliable, gets good fuel mileage, and handles like a sports car should! All cars should drive this good!!!
