I have owned my pony for 4 years now. The only repair I had was a fuel pump 2 years ago. Every little button still works, it is fast(but not superfast yet) and it looks soooo cool! The main reason I went with this Mustang over a Vette, is it is way easier to get in and out of for an older guy. It has all the standard amenities you could want. And did I mention how cool you look in a red Pony convertible when you squawk the tires???

I was five years old when my mother met the man who would become my stepfather. He drove an ugly brown Fastback Mustang. I grew up seeing this as the car a man drove! Turned out, he bought it as a gift to himself for surviving Vietnam. Eventually, when I was around ten years old, he traded it in for a Datsun King Cab. The Datsun was more family-friendly, I suppose. But still, the memory of that Mustang lives on in my mind. I loved that car and I know he did too. He sacrificed it for his family. He's gone now, but I still wish he'd kept that car. I hope someday to buy one of my own. I know it's a gas guzzler and it burns oil, but xxxx, what a car!

I fell in love with car when it was new and didn’t have my own until decades later. I bought an in line 6, swapped the engine, and rear end. CJ Pony parts is awesome. Plug and play. Mustang convertible GT California special edition mechanical work a little bit needed but that’s OK at 130,000 miles. A dream come true my second convertible.
