I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tire rotation, and a shifting problem. My vehicle was shuttering from stop to first/second gear. I took a road test with service manager Don Tallent and was informed I need a new clutch. Luckily, they had the part in stock and offered to make an appointment for the following week to get this work done. I am happy with the service provided and will be coming back to Dorian Ford for service in the future. I would recommend them to everyone.

This car has it's quirks, electrical system is awful and would not recommend models that boast electric opening doors and seats, lights and radio are all that you should truly need. Because of this system we've had multiple batteries and alternators through the life of this van, but invest in a battery with a long life and pro-rated replacement (Les Schwab's good) and the alternator while can be quite pricey for some new, can be replaced by anyone in under an hour with only a few cheap tools. Van is currently 240k+, had a rebuilt transmission once (any transmission will conk out after 100k miles) and unfortunately mine has a slow oil leak that I have not to taken the time to get into. Now that its old the speakers are going, but I'm not surprised considering they're factory. Hatch unlock takes a few tries from the electric unlock buttons to undo and the passenger window no longer works (need to check if it's the electrics themselves or the motor). Oil leak Is the only engine problem I have ever had, hope to run this old girl until I retire her when the tranny gives out. Worth the buy! (Did I mention I drive it for 300 mile trips over the Snoqualmie pass at least once a month now and it still has enough power from the 3.8L engine to go 80+mph up the mountainside) *Van is second owner, parents purchased around 60k miles and we've been driving it ever since

Gerry was excellent to work with. He sent me a ton of close up - high resolution photos to put me at ease before driving 180 miles to Astorg to see/drive the car. I was being extremely picky because the car I was looking for needed to be perfect. Gerry was very patient with my pickiness. When I arrived, the car was exactly as promised with zero surprises. It's been a great van until my rear axle broke

I loved this van every since I've had it. That is until the axle broke and i found out a recall had already been done. I was driving it when the rear axle broke and what looked like steam was coming from the rear. The tire didn't come off and I managed to get it off the road in the middle of a turn in heavy downtown Chattanooga traffic. I was scared to death! I had it towed to next available exit ( approximately 4 miles ) for a $60.00 fee. A local garage came and took it for repair. That's when I found out about the recall on the damaged axle. It wasn't for the axle however it was for defective bracket installation. Later did I learn about axle corrosion which had caused the axle to break. I'm now having front end problems which make me scared to drive it. I heard about a subframe recall so now I'm off to research that. It's a shame these vehicles have such problems because they really are nice. I'm just scared of it now thinking my rear axle break may have caused other problems like prompting my front end problems. I know this van was driven to Michigan on a regular basis but was purchased in Tennessee. It has front and back air conditioning controls which i found out they all don't when having my air repaired. Over all I've loved it and wish these problems weren't the reason I'm now scared of it.

Was only around $2200 almost 2 years . 111000mi now. Has rust. Had to replace the real axel. It had the recall fix however still rusted in half. $$$$ Have some sputtering issues epically when raining. Perhaps I will get plugs and crap replaced $$$$$ Advise one to get a used Toyota if you want a van. I will cost more at first.

Out of all the minivans that I've owned, this is the best one. I've owned a GMC Safari, Chevrolet Venture, or Chevrolet Astro, the Chrysler Town & Country, and a Dodge Caravan. And this one is the best oh, and the most reliable.
