I was looking for a chevy impala and I found one at Small Town Auto thru cars.com. It was in beautiful shape both inside and out. Even though it was a little older-2009 I decided to take it because of the low mileage-68,000. I am so satisfied. I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review to make sure I had no real problems with the car. There was a minor problem with the starter but the dealership took care of it and it was just over the 30-day warranty. It rides so smoothly and it has a lot of power as soon as you step on the gas the front end lifts up and boy it goes! I know it's a little older but I am so satisfied. I can tell this car will last. It's well worth the money and I only gave 750.00 down because that's all I had at the time. They work with you. So don't be afraid, if you need a car buy one from this dealership! I'm not sorry you won't be either!

I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

There was even a small hitch (on my end) that required extra handling on their part. They came through efficiently and made sure every detail was done correctly. I bought mine new in 2016. 128k and deleted at 60k. The increase in power has been astronomical. Unrivaled power and reliability. 30 - 200 hp boost on a 5 position selector switch. It rides like a f-250 should. The more weight on it the smoother the ride. The heated/cooled seats are fantastic. I have 6 foot plus children and they have plenty of front and rear seat leg room. The power outlets are conveniently located and charge lap tops and phone quickly. The interior noise at highway speeds are imperceptible, the engine break assist is excellent when towing a trailer. Cruise control is the most economically way to drive. My milage is slightly better with the delete completion, maybe 2-4 mph depending on how fast it is being driven. Factory tires get better MPG than the Goodyear AT's but I found that the factory tires failure to have any appreciable traction a major problem and thus the change early in my ownership. Dry pavement with factory tires was excellent, however, I was unable to turn my truck with one snowmobile with a two place trailer on a mowed grass covered in 2 inches of snow. Once the tires were replaced with the AT's, no issue what so ever. My truck was ordered and never picked up and there for I got a decent deal at 63k new, 3 miles. I have the Lariat edition with tow option and plow options. I have ability for 5th wheel and gooseneck towing and in bed trailer plug. To say this truck is a beast is a gross understatement. I out perform all other brands of trucks which are similarly deleted, never been beaten. The program I run is the EZ LYNK Auto Agent II and the program is by SPE. It has a transmission tune unlike 99% of other tunes on the market. Totally recommend this if you want tons of more power and increases in MPG.

Stopped by as this is a client of mine and as I was leaving, Dennis ran out to my car and stopped me before driving off. He noticed my tire was completely flat! He immediately stopped what he was doing, got it to the garage and between him, his service guy (sorry didn't catch his name, young guy with glasses) and Wilmer, they got it repaired! I was far from home and if went un-noticed, I really could have done some damage to my car. Not too often you get customer service like this, and they definitely went above and beyond! Would HIGHLY recommend buying or servicing your car here! You will not find better service elsewhere!

Great truck, I have no issues with this truck. Occasionally the Snyc screen freezes up. Acceleration is excellent. Highway MPG is 23 Local is around 12 mpg. Mixed City Highway is 15 mpg

Brubaker's will likely be one of our first choices for repeat car-buying business. Our extended family has purchased here and our most recent purchase is still powering ahead well. The honesty is evident and willingness to fix even the smaller issues (in our case, a tire that went bad, replacing air-vent controllers, and some odd issues with a touch-screen) was fantastic. I am shopping for a new car soon and am constantly checking Brubaker's inventory for our next potential purchase.

2022 Outer Banks SAS screen freezes/Reboots constantly and it seems the car play stops working not sure if this is happening a lot I do know this is a frustrating experience

I purchased the titanium awd edge which came with 20 inch wheels and the ride was a bit rough. I had a 2016 with 18 inch wheels and it was very smooth. I found a set of 18 inch original ford wheels, purchased new tires and now it rides like a dream. It´s quiet, handles well, the interior is a bit dated, but has all the tech and safety I need. I compared the X3 and Q5, but the Edge had a lower price and was loaded. Not a single problem since I bought it, just regular service and one recall that was fixed while I waited at the dealer. I highly recommend it.

I purchased the 2022 Timberline preowned about 1 month ago with appx 50k miles on it. I was disappointed that it does not have memory seats or a garage door remote button. (I didn't even notice this when test driving it). Who makes a car today with all the tech this car has and leaves off these 2 things! The interior is comfortable & well laid out. The ride is smooth & quiet. 2.3L turbo 4 cylinder is quiet & has amazing power. At idle it’s hard to tell that the engine is even running. The prior owner put on Michelin tires which contribute to the smooth, quiet ride. The seats are ActiveX (Ford’s name for vinyl) with cloth inserts. I’m 5’ 10” and 175lbs. My son who rode with me is 6’ 3” and 250lbs. Both of us found the seats comfortable & supportive on our 1st road trip. I’ve driven a Kia Telluride, which is a direct competitor. The Kia has a little more tech but I found the ride to be on the harsh side, especially in the second row. This may be attributable to the low profile 21” tires. The Timberline has 18” balloon tires which I much prefer. 2 weeks after purchasing it I made a 2,200-mile road trip from Dallas TX to Orgon. Fuel mileage ranged from 21 to 28 with an overall average of 24 mpg. *if I don’t drive over 70 mph on the highway the fuel economy goes up to about 32! *these numbers are from the actual miles & gallons of fuel used, not from the dash numbers, which I found are a little optimistic. It has a few bugs that I’ll have to deal with, but it’s a used Ford & not a Lexus. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with this car & would recommend it.

I absolutley love this car. I am a wildlife photographer so I do a lot of driving.... it is comfortable, the windows are huge and amazing. The comfort is like being at home in my comfy chair. It is quiet too.

Bought a 2002 Dodge 1500 SLT with 84,450 miles on it. Picked it up the following day and drove 2 hrs. home. Liked the truck after driving 1/2 an hour.....loved it by the end of the 1st hour. Great buying experience. Would definitely recommend them.

2022 F150 PowerBoost 3.5 twin turbo absolutely hauls xxx with phenomenal gas mileage on a 30 gallon tank. I’ve gotten a true 600 and 700 miles out of a tank of gas when it’s in Eco mode it will run on battery alone if you’re on flat level ground and maintain your speed that’s how they obtain so many miles out of a tank full of gas probably one of the best F1 50s I’ve owned and I’ve had several of them. If you leave it in tow Haul mode it will disengage the auto stop start so the vehicle remains on. It’s been absolutely bullet proof with zero issues. If I’m not driving the Dually Diesel F350 I’m driving this..

Strong little truck, great off road, and great gas mileage. Superior towing compared to my 2019 Taco. If you need a mid size truck that is actually a truck the Ranger will be great for you.

Bought this truck new. I’ve put 3500 miles on it and it rides really comfortably. I went from an AT4 with dead lifters to this. I love this truck and I have not towed with it but the max I’m towing is 6,000 so that should not be an issue.

Do your homework and research the vehicle of your choice. I bought the escape used in 2024. So far, no recalls and it was a great buy, and I love it. I have the 2.0 turbo 240 horsepower. I use premium gas, full synthetic oil and change the transmission fluid every 30 thousand miles. I also read that once you get to your destination, let the car idle for 10 seconds so the turbo has time to rid any excess output.

He was wearing a USMC ball cap and I asked him if he was a vet. He said yes and told me that he served in Panama. I told him that I was in the Army and did a tour in Vietnam . We bonded instantly. After we did the road test, we opened the hood. Truck immediately noticed a liquid substance near the manifold and looked around for any leaks. He couldn't find one, but he was still concerned. He talked to the owner about it and the owner said they would find the leak and fix it. Truck showed a great deal of interest in satisfying my needs and wasn't trying to push the sale or get me interested in another auto. I am 70 years old and he made me feel very comfortable with the sale. We had our 2013 Ford edge for many years had zero problems with it until a stupid driver parked next to my husband and totaled the car. He wasn’t even in the car but until then it never gave us any trouble. We decided we would buy another ford edge which is a 2018 and beautiful. Hopefully we’ll have the same luck with this one.
