We traded up from a 94 Chevy conversion van to the Savana (also a conversion van). It's a little hard to separate the GMC features from the conversion features (Starcraft). The 5.3L engine and 3.73 rear end are a great combination. Ours came with a trailer hitch installed, and the van feels very strong pulling 3,000-4,000+ lbs. over hills. We routinely get 18+ mpg on road trips. Van handles well and fun to drive. Plenty of leg room for our 6'11" son AND German shepherd in the second row seats. Still has the original tires at 70,000 miles. Only problem to date is power steering fluid leak from rack and pinion unit. Uses less than 1/2 qt. of oil between changes (5,000 miles). The "new" front end style is still very current. A much better value and way more room and convenience than an SUV. We plan to keep it till it drops!
This is an amendment to my previous review of Masic Motors. Cars.com does not appear to have a means of editing already published reviews.
After my car broke down the day of purchase, my car was towed to a nearby BMW dealership where it was diagnosed with a bad alternator. It was repaired he next day and after contacting Masic motors they agreed to help me out with a portion of the bill. More then I expect most small used car lots would do. I would not hesitate to recommend Masic motors to someone looking to purchase a car from a used car lot.

purchased used with a 15 foot box. used to haul snack food products which can be quite heavy with a full load. at 100,000 miles the rig still runs very strong. would recommend this platform to anyone who doesn't need a big disel truck
I experienced that some repairs are not corrected on first visit to dealership. Recently, my car was in second time for same AC unit problems. I was told the diagnosis was different this time-$$$. The other problem is that car randomly hesitates to start. The problem of.random starts is back.again. It has been less than 2 weeks since repairs were completed.

I currently own three of these vans. all three have had the same problems, ie park light bulbs burn out quickly and as a result of changing them so often, the plastic covers no longer seal and have to be duct taped to hold them in place. also, there is a wiring harness problem that forced the tranny to shift abnormally therefore causing the tranny to slip. we have had to rebuild the tranny in one van in particular twice as a result of this wiring problem.
I bought my very first luxury vehicle from Ty and it was the best experience I could have asked for. He was very patient and kind with me and answered all my questions. He guided me through the process and helped ensure that I got the car that I wanted. I couldn't be happier with my Liberty!! And the entire buying experience was awesome!! Excellent customer service! I would highly recommend Wholesale direct motors and will continue to come here for my automotive needs.
