At first I had my doubts , but I can tell you that Brian and Debbie work together for me and resolved my issue , the dealership really step up their customer service. My husband, Donald had called Leckner at King George, Va . Dustin Russell answered the telephone call. Donald told him about several vehicles that we may possibly be interested in seeing when we were passing by on the way to Fredericksburg, Va. Mr. Russell took the information down after talking with Donald and then passed it on to Patrick Cole. When we arrived on Saturday morning , 3/24/2018 Patrick Cole greeted us with a welcoming smile. He asked our names and how we were doing! Upon Donald telling him who we were Patrick immediately recognized our names and informed us that he had been given the information from Dustin Russell. Mr. Russell came over and spoke with us and started working along with Patrick to help us! These young men were very helpful! They were both very polite and ready to work with us! They wanted us to leave that day with a car that suited our needs. We talked for a good long while, test drove several Jeeps. (1) was a 2017 Compass Jeep. (1) 2016 Compass Jeep (1) 2016 Jeep Renegade- Red!) Upon driving the Jeeps, we talked with Dustin and he made us a possible deal.. we thought about it and decided to leave and take care of the business that was necessary and said we would think about it. Several hours later, we returned, asked them the price we could get the 2016 Red Jeep Renegade. With the trade in we were offered and the price they gave us...............WE BOUGHT THE JEEP RENEGADE!! These young men were well informed and new what they were talking about when it came to the Jeeps. Polite, courteous, and very friendly. As my first experience with any dealership working on my vehicle, this was a bad experience. They scheduled me to come in & after waiting over 2 hours (with a 2 year old!), came to me to say they realized the parts were missing & they could not fix my vehicle at this time. Something that I feel could have been mentioned in 5 minutes, not over 2 hours. Plus they were not very apologetic or for their mistake. They ridiculously offered me to take a vehicle of theirs for the day in hopes of possibly finding the parts & fixing my car later in the day, but they could not offer me a manual transmission vehicle. I have never driven an automatic before, and was not going to let my first time be with my 2 year old son in the car, so I took my vehicle home because there was also no reason in the world to leave my car there for who knows how long with it not even being worked on. We rescheduled & fixed my car later that afternoon, but this was just a ridiculous experience.
I purchased a previously owned 2013 Buick LaCrosse and am very satisfied with the car's appearance and condition - it's a beautiful car! The price was fair and my trade-in value made the decision easy. This is a good dealership with a very friendly and helpful staff. A special thanks to Herman Thompson. He was very knowledgeable and professional. I would have no problem recommending Bareford to my friends.
My husband found a truck on Bareford Buick GMC's website. I went after work to look at the truck and take some pictures for him since he wasn't going to be able to make it to the dealership until later in the afternoon. While I was there, I was chatting with Joey Fore, and he uncovered that I was planning a trip to Northern Virginia to look at a vehicle for myself. Joey did everything he could to find a comparable vehicle at a better price. He made the conversation about price and budget very comfortable and went out of his way to look for vehicles at auction to see what he could find that wasn't on his lot. Charlie has the truck waiting right up front for me and was more than happy to bring around the Malibu that I ended up purchasing. Joey & Charlie were both a pleasure to work with and we were very pleased with the entire process. After all of our searching all over the state, we ended up finding exactly what we wanted with a great experience right here in our own little town! I would recommend Joey & Charlie at Bareford Buick GMC in Tappahannock to anyone interested in a vehicle purchase.
Best truck buying experience I've had yet. Reached a very fair and reasonable offer with no need to haggle, the next day I confirmed financing with my bank and called to commit, went back to the dealership the day after and in under an hour we were done, papers were signed, tags were transferred and we were doing the walk through. Less than 72 hours start to finish and I was driving away in a beautiful Denali HD. Extremely pleased.
We have a 2010 Cadillac and had taken it to a Cadillac dealership for service and were very unhappy with the quality of service. We have bought cars from Bareford and always been happy with both sales and service departments so we took it there when we had this latest problem. Bareford's service personnel found the problem and fixed it, kept it for only one day, and we are very happy. We will bringing all our vehicles to Bareford in the future for any kind of service.
