Like the Insight, the model it followed, the CR-Z has been discontinued. It's a shame because both the Insight and CR-V were ideal vehicles for someone who want a really compact car and two seats. We've driven both on long trips on the interstate and back roads with great mileage (better than EPA estimates) at 75mph on the interstate. Our Insight had almost 100,000 miles when we replaced it because of an accident with the CR-Z. The interior really cocoons the driver and passenger making it feel safe; the loe profile and great steering and ABS brakes make it highly manuverable and fun to drive. We hope Honda comes up with another 2-seater to suceed the CR-V.

There was only one car on their lot that met my criteria. Kamryn was patient and kind with all my goofy questions and concerns. We did everything conveniently via text. Weve been Toyota customers for several years but was impressed with the Ford options So we decided to check them out. The salesman Ryan Bloom was helpful but not pressuring and very knowledgeable of the product. While making the purchase, the business office was quick and efficient. We may have spent 15 minutes finalizing the purchase where it took two hours on a previous Toyota purchase. Ryan fully explained the service department and introduced us to the vehicle options and how to set them up. So long as the Escape holds up to our expectations, well return to Mize Ford on our next purchase.

This is a surprisingly fun car. We bought it mainly to not feel guilty running the AC in car line - but got to appreciate it in various situation. The range isn't great, the flimsy tires need getting used to - but for what a used (ideally certified pre-owned) one goes for - I really don't think you can go wrong. Unless you live in a city and have good places to charge - it probably is not a suitable car as your only car - but it's a great addition if you don't depend on it for a 300 mile drive. Accelerations is fun, the car is a lot bigger inside than it looks. It has a little bit of a theme park ride feel to it at times.

Purchased a used 2018 with 35K miles in 2023. I now have 75K miles as it's a commuter car, about 90 miles a day. I average almost 41 mpg going from Pueblo to Colorado Springs and back. The CVT was a bit suspect when I first got it, but I think the driving has corrected the 3rd gear delay. The CVT is hands down better than my Altima. One year that car was gone, total junk.
