Used Honda Accord for sale in Elmhurst, IL

EX coupe, I4 engine, 5 speed manual transmission Bought this car used, traded in a Subaru Forester for it. Had about 125k ish on the odometer when purchased, coming up on 143k now with absolutely zero issues. Had to get the tire sensors replaced and a remote made for it, but I haven't had any mechanical issues whatsoever. Hondas are reliable to a fault, even more so with regular maintenance. I only run Chevron or Shell fuel, and Mobil 1 super synthetic oil to keep things clean. The computer lets me go up to 7k miles between changes! Good thing for me because this is my daily all around the state driver. Sound system is incredible stock, with an 8 inch shallow throw sub in the rear deck. As usual, Honda is known for great power trains, but a fairly cheap interior. No big unless you're looking for a luxury vehicle! Road noise is pretty average for a Honda, can be loud if you're used to Toyota or Chevy. Suspension is a little stiff and clumsy, but again, reliable. Don't expect to take this car off-road unless you want it to complain the entire way 😂 All in all, this is probably the best car I have owned to date. Sporty, stylish, and almost bulletproof. Going to give her a good tune up soon and I plan to have her for years to come!

Finding a reliable, well cared for, low mileage and reasonably priced used car can be a daunting task. It does not have to be... I bumped into Oswego Motors quite by accident. Spoke to Chad on New Years Eve having seen a car on the website that seemed suitable. I drove out to the dealership that afternoon, and found the car inside and cleaned up ready for me to view. Chad walked me around the car and we discussed not only the condition of the car, but also what I was looking for generally in a used vehicle. I was handed the keys for a test drive, and was told to take my time and drive it as much as needed to check everything out...which I did. We briefly discussed the price. I told Him I'd think about it and call after New Years Day. No pressure, none...to close a deal then and there. I returned on 1/02/23 and not only bought that car, but ended up trading in my 2018 BMW for what I consider a very fair price. The trade-in, was a bit of a spur of the moment decision on my part, and these kinds of transactions can become a confusing "fun with numbers" exercise. Not so in this case. Chad was very straightforward and transparent throughout. I felt confident that I was working with a completely honest, and capable professional from start to finish. We agreed on a final price, and the deal was made. The paperwork part of these transactions often seem to take forever. I think I was in and out in under 2 hours from the moment I walked in, to the moment I drove off...With my new (used) car...! I highly recommend Oswego Motors. Ex-l coupe. It’s a honda Comfort, style, quality, affordable to repair and readability. Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. 3.5 L engine has more omf. Fun to drive. Ride is a bit ruff but not terrible.

I received amazing customer service from Devin. He explained in details all the services my car would received that day. Devin followed up and call me to update me on the price I would pay for service. He knew I would pick up my car after his shift ended and called me to refer me to two other advisors that could review the work done on my car. One of the best customer service I have received at Honda!

Had this car for a month so still experiencing new things. I love everything about the car but the tech is a bit glitchy specifically the cord and Bluetooth connections. Taking a call in the car is a bit of a pain. Drive nice, good gas mileage, overall good experience.

Purchased brand new 21 sport 2.0 10AT. Very impressed how the car drives on the road. Also impressed with the pep of the 2 liter and 10 speed tranny. Decent safety features. Also love the walk away auto lock and remote start. Infotainment very simple and android auto/ apple car play no issues. The 21 is led headlights both high/lows which make great visibility for night driving. I have 3 complaints. 1 safety and 1 comfort and 1 for paint quality. Not speaking for leather seats but seats in my 2.0 aren't full leather. You might need extra cushions for long trips. As for safety the rear tailights illumination is different on the 1.5 and 2.0 sports compared to the touring tailights. The whole taillight doesn't illuminate hence why alot of people throw aftermarket tailights on their 10th gen accords. Now for paint quality. I'd be very careful buying a pearl paint that Honda makes. They have defects. You can look at seams of bumpers and front of hood the small plastic piece that's the color of car before the hood starts. Terrible paint watch seams of bumpers for bubbling.

Beautiful car. Very fast in sport mode. Plenty of room. Stereo system is really nice. Fun to drive. Quiet cabin. I had a 2018 and cabin was loud. Much improvement. Rims are awesome. Test one for yourself. Great car.

I bought the car in New Hampshire with 200,000 miles on it and drove it to Northern Michigan and back with no issues. 1100 miles one way. 33mpg. Not bad for a B-lot car. It's the 2.4 Ex-l model. The leather seats aren't the greatest for long trips. Some may find them comfortable tho. The have seat cover with gel padding that i will buy. The factory Nav is outdated but adequate. I do like the trip computer. The ac compressor sounds like it is on its way out. One of the cooling fans doesn't work. Which is making the ac suffer at a stop. But other than that seems like a good purchase. Nice to have confidence in a vehicle to put some miles behind it. I travel for work so I'll fix some mechanical quirks and test that Honda reliability. It's a new England car so has some rust. Will probably buy a southern one next time. Has hail damage. So not winning any beauty contest. But I like the Gray color.

I was pleasantly surprised by Honda Libertyville's service center. Although the price was a little higher than online auto repair estimates, the care and expertise more than made up for the difference as other issues were addressed as the TPMS were replaced (tire rotation and bead replacement - both done as a courtesy along with a wash). Zach and his team went above and beyond when my parents purchased their car several years ago. They seldom drive these days so when Dad was not able to start the car recently even after trying to charge the battery, we reached out to Zach. Based on our conversation he took the initiative to order a new battery in case it was needed. We scheduled a time for him to come to the house and take a closer look. It turned out, they needed a battery. Zach installed the new one on the spot. In less than 30 minutes it was all resolved. We can't say enough about the integrity and character that has been demonstrated over and over again by Zach and College Cars Chicago. The SERVICE has been OUTSTANDING three years and running.

I currently own a 2006 Accord, Value Package, 4 cylinder, automatic. Bought the car in 2015 with 263k miles, from a lady who purchased it brand new and serviced it at Honda on time, everytime. She only sold it because she needed a SUV to tow around her grandkids. Today, I accomplished a milestone with my Accord. 400k miles!!!! The only major issue apart from regular maintenance, tires and brakes, oil changes ect, was the power steering pump went out on me at 377119. Everything works the way it should, car is quiet, fuel efficient and always reliable. Will purchase a new truck in another year or two, but I'll just let my Accord rest, I'd never trade it, it'll serve as my back up. People are amazed when I tell them the milage, they physically have to look to believe, based on how the car runs, sounds, drives and looks. Well done HONDA! A job well done.

My only challenge has been the low profile tires.... they don't do well with Indiana roads. The mpg went all the way up to 38.
