Excellent Expierience - Highly Recommended

John Houston is what a car salesperson should be like. I hesitate to say that because I don't want my review to jinx him. My experience with John and Dean Honda was the best car buying experience of my life in contrast to many others. I would hate to think that the "powers that be" want it the other way, as exemplified by the stereotype and common perception of "car salesmen"... and the bad or unpleasant car buying experiences in my life. I've also had a few good ones...this was the best.
This survey forces me to examine why I came to this conclusion. I met three people in Dean's sales department...John, Aaron, and Dan. There were no "games". John and Dean Honda were respectful of our time how many people can say that coming out of a car dealership? John did what he said he would, including returning phone calls in a timely manner. Everyone was honest, straightforward, and respectful. Even where there was some disagreement, and there was, respect and professionalism was maintained. Many of the characteristics demonstrated by John seem very simple and easy. But as is often the case, when someone makes it look easy, it's usually because of a significant level of skill, knowledge and experience. Even if we had not purchased a new car, I would have come away impressed by the Dean organization and John Houston in particular.
